"The best lightweight requirements package on the market"

What do you like best about DocSheets?

I've used DocSheets in two companies over the last few years, and I have found it far easier to use than the big heavy-weight requirements management packages. It is ideal for general business and industrial use where the overhead of a safety-critical certified package is unnecessary or overly expensive. DocSheets does everything you need for requirements management and traceability through the product lifecycle without being so bloated that it needs a team to run it. A fully configurable document generator allows creation of word, html or excel reports optimised for any stakeholder, the straight-forward graph generation and ability to integrate project-management traceability via the Gantt views is a major plus. Installation is straight-forward, with a simple server-side and client installation. Administration workload is minimal and can be managed by any competent computer user. A great tool, for any project, in any domain, where there is a need to ensure requirements are captured, implemented and traced. The flexibility of DocSheets makes it easy to tailor it to the way you want to work, it does not force you to design your workflows around the tool. Customer support is outstanding and Goda respond quickly to reported issues and suggestions for improvements. Highly recommended Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DocSheets?

The only real downside I have found with DocSheets is the UI, which is slightly inconsistent in some areas and lacks a certain fluidity. That said, there is nothing that cannot easily be worked around, and support for questions and examples is readily available from Goda. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

DocSheets is a full featured and cost effective Requirements Managements tools for Systems Engineering. DocSheet integration with MS office documents is particularly important for my use cases.
