Design Huddle has been a key part of building our own product, and it has enabled us to create a bunch of white-labeled templates, the bread and butter of our business! They are constantly developing and adding new features, and their continual innovation challenges us to also better our own products and templates and elevate our game. Not necessarily something to dislike but there was an annoying workflow for a while where we couldn't automatically/easily replace older templates with newer ones. Integrating DesignHuddle with our Squarespace website has been great - we have always wanted to find a way to speed the process along when it comes to proofing designs to our clients, and to give them control of that will be so beneficial for us as a business. Also their customer service is outstanding, despite being on the other side of the world to us (we're UK-based) they have been attentive, really helpful and explained everything so well. There isn't anything that stands out to us regarding dislikes - we did have issues with the integration with our website but that was due to our lack of knowledge on the coding side. Luckily we found a Squarespace Developer that was able to not only help with the integration but make changes for us that works around the DesignHuddle software. Nathan and Dave are super responsive regarding technical questions, debugging issues that may arise, and are honest and transparent in their responses. I've worked with external integrations in the past where I could expect a response in "1-3 business days" or even "1-2 weeks", but these guys have spoiled me now--often, they'll get back to me even faster than some of my own teammates! I didn't like that there was incomplete documentation for their javascript SDK while I was working on our integration. It felt constraining at some times, and manually creating types for typescript was tedious. However, they've now released more complete technical docs for their SDK! I love the autocustomizations API feature! We have a number of clients with little to no marketing or design department so being able to login to our marketing library, open a project and it's already customized for them (or at least 85% of the way there) is huge value add to our services.

Their customer support is top notch! They are always quick to respond to any questions I have and anytime I have an issue pop up, they look into it immediately and offer solutions for me to implement or get things fixed on their end as soon as they can.

They are always innovating. Even before we had implemented the software for our website, they had made changes to some of their API features that made using their product even better. There is a bit of a learning curve when it comes to preparing projects for autocustomizations. However, once you use it often enough, it just becomes second nature, and you learn tricks to make selecting features faster and easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
