I love how Delve made obtaining SOC 2 Type 1 compliance super quick and simple, taking just weeks. The step-by-step instructions are super clear, and whenever I needed more details, the team was super responsive, answering within minutes. This responsiveness really helped expedite the entire process, especially when dealing with tasks involving AWS screenshots that I wasn't familiar with. In addition to the instructions, having a couple of screenshots would have helped. All of the platforms change their UI quite a bit, and so it was not clear where I should be looking on the page. There wasn’t much to dislike overall. If I had to point to one area for improvement, it would be having even clearer timelines and milestone expectations set upfront. While the team was very responsive and supportive throughout, a bit more structure around timing early on would make planning internal resources even easier. THE BEST Compliance guide/tool on the market. Compliance often feels overwhelming and extremely intimidating, but Delve makes the process much more manageable. With Delve, you can go from 0% to 100% compliance quickly and easily. The most impressive aspect is that you don’t need to be an expert—the platform guides you step by step through the entire process. We’re using it for SOC2, and their in-platform AI tool, along with the overall guidance, provides clear instructions on exactly what needs to be done to pass or remediate tests.

I lead Terrapin, a receipt intelligence platform, so we live and die on clean processes and auditability. Delve gives us a simple way to keep our SOC 2 and security work visible and moving without drowning the team in “enterprise” overhead.

What I like most is that it’s opinionated enough to keep us structured, but not so rigid that we can’t work the way a startup actually works. Tasks, owners, deadlines, and evidence are all in one place, which means when we’re building and shipping product (and chasing our own customers), we’re not also hunting for scattered docs and spreadsheets. The reporting could go a step further. As a founder, I want a one-glance view that ties open risk/compliance tasks to business impact - similar to how we think about Terrapin’s metrics (savings per user, volume of receipts processed, etc). I use Delve for SOC-2 and it really helps with the application process. It collects all the information and reviews everything until certification. It's so easy to use. One thing I would love is to have a separate role for an admin to help with policies and company information, but not have access to sensitive information like employee performance reviews. This way, I could delegate some of the admin work. We were a bit stressed that your upgrade would affect our status but it seems to have worked okay in the end. I like that Delve pre-fills all of the forms for us and has a lot of integrations into our tech stack, which means we don't have to build out a lot of boilerplate documentation. The integrations help us because we don't need to do a lot of manual testing of our infrastructure, thanks to the prebuilt automated tests that check things like whether we have multi-factor authentication set up.
