- Eventually responded after significant escalation and external pressure
- Demonstrated willingness to resolve the issue, but only on their terms

**What do you dislike about DearDoc?**

** Critical failure on core deliverable:** EHR scheduling integration promised and contracted for — still not functional after 6+ months.
**No responsiveness:** Two-month communication blackout after contract signature. Multiple unanswered emails.
**Accountability avoidance:** When confronted, vendor's sole response was "your agreement allows for NO outs." Used contract language as a shield instead of fixing the product.
**Lack of transparency:** No status updates. No Trust!
- **Customer-hostile contract structure:** Agreement heavily favors vendor with no performance milestones, no exit clauses, and no accountability for delivery.

**What do you like best about DearDoc?**

The Voice AI receptionist has made the biggest impact for us. It picks up every missed call no matter how busy we are and actually turns them into real appointments. Our team doesn’t need to get overwhelmed a lot and patients get quick answers instead of voicemail.

**What do you dislike about DearDoc?**

Every now and then we update some of the responses but thats just part of keeping things current.

**What problems is DearDoc solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were losing a ton of business from missed calls, especially during peak hours. Deardoc has given us a voice system that by responds instantly and keeping callers engaged. otherthan that the automated review requests have improved our online ratings more in just a few months than we managed in the past couple of years. This has enhanced our online presence and allowed us to attract more patients without needing to hire additional staff.

**What do you like best about DearDoc?**

it manages the rush hours well . When the front desk is occupied with checking in patients, this AI automatically answers incoming calls. It is allowing us to worry less about missing out on business and the ability to turn missed calls into actual appointments is delivering a clear return on investment.

**What do you dislike about DearDoc?**

Its not totally fill it and forget it you have to keep updating the scripts. If we change our pricing or clinic timings we must update the AI manually or it gives wrong info to patients, so that is a small headache

**What problems is DearDoc solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem it is solving is the missed calls during peak hours. It is a value for money tool for busy clinics where workflow needs help. The voice system helps it by responding instantly and keeping callers engaged

We have been using DearDoc for over a year now. We rely on the AI chat feature, which has been excellent for capturing patient inquiries after business hours. It handles basic questions and gathers all the necessary patient information. Our ratings have improved thanks to the automated review requests provided by DearDoc. Considering all these features, I believe DearDoc is the best fit for our needs.

**What do you like best about DearDoc?**

We initially like the check-ins from our account success manager, and had high hopes for the softwarte, but it was incredibly underwhelming and overpriced.

**What do you dislike about DearDoc?**

Our experience with DearDoc has been incredibly frustrating. While we initially signed up with high expectations, we quickly encountered major issues with support, communication, and service delivery.

At first, we had Success Calls to review our dashboard and check in with our account manager. However, these eventually stopped entirely, leaving us with no direct contact person for troubleshooting or assistance.

When we requested the addition of a new dashboard, the process dragged on for almost a year and was never properly completed, despite repeated assurances. We faced ongoing technical problems throughout this process, yet despite months of follow-ups, we received no real assistance. Meanwhile, the existing dashboard we initially had did little to benefit our business, making the lack of proper setup for the new one even more frustrating. Communication was inconsistent at best—we were forced to constantly reach out for updates because we wouldn’t hear back for months at a time.

To make matters worse, when we explicitly informed a representative that we did not wish to renew, we were given the runaround instead of proper cancellation guidance. This resulted in an unfair auto-renewal charge for services we never fully received. Attempts to resolve the issue with customer support were met with delays, miscommunication, and unfulfilled promises.

Given the insanely overpriced service and complete lack of accountability, we cannot recommend DearDoc to any business looking for reliable support. If you're considering working with them, think twice before committing—our experience has been a complete waste of time and money.

We don't dislike anything. Dear doc is great

It is helping get patients in the door from the website chat and also helping us get reviews because we can send the request in a text quickly. My favorite part would be that we can chat with our patients about any scheduling errors or anything quickly if a  patient likes to text more than they want to talk on the phone.

**What do you like best about DearDoc?**

DearDoc has helped my business tremendously. The AI chatbot feature on my site has saved me both time (answering questions that visitors cannot easily find on my website) and money (no need for a secretary and DearDoc has lengthened my website visits and interest in my website, thereby converting more visits to booked appointments).  I will forever be a loyal DearDoc customer because of the personal touch the team provides. I am on monthly calls with Rachel and Casie, who not only show me my website stats, but offer creative improvements to my chat dialog, which is updated monthly so that my site feels fresh and current. We have also included videos in the chat so that visitors also feel and can see the personal touch and don't feel like they are just talking to a robot.  I actually enjoy my monthly DearDoc calls and look forward to seeing my business continue to grow organically with such an inspiring team, who truly feel like a part of MY team.

There is nothing to dislike. DearDoc is attentive, professional and creative.

the dashboard has been a great help in tracking our clients throughout the different stages in our complex process and allows us to store all pertinent information in the notes attached to the opportunity card!

There are a few glitches I've noticed, but nothing too concerning and our customer success manager, Griffin, is always very effiecient and supportive in helping reslove any issues we come across!

absolutely nothing. I used in several years ago and they're and unable to provide me with appropriate services. they blamed my practice for the lack of patients. They never took any responsibility.

dishonest marketing. I was asked to have a non-sales meeting to discuss WebMD . It turned into a ssales call for this product. I told him is applying and he became abusive verbally. I

The chatbot is, technically, functional.  Outside of that we have yet to receive even one inbound lead from this channel after 2 months of service.

**What do you dislike about DearDoc?**

Their sales team will promise you the world, and the onboarding team simply disappears.  We were told that DearDoc's platform would be able to replace other existing vendors. Now, we're stuck esentially double-paying for nothing. It's been a hugely disappointing experience.

So far, I can't really tell what they're doing. I can't even get them on the phone.

We use Deardoc for instant patient engagement through our website, and it seems to work effectively alongside our EMR system. The features are simple to use, and of course, the customer support is swift. I want to thank Lorely for providing a tutorial video for our team.

Right now, DearDoc is taking care of instant messaging from the website, which enables our patients to schedule an appointment at their convenience and in particular for those who prefer not to call for one. The most helpful thing about DearDoc is they're 1000% committed to my companies success and they listen to my concerns & questions carefully. Because of this, they've helped us acquire a lot of leads during our time.

Nothing I can think of. Their software I would rate 8/10. However, their team alone it was a great experience working with them. I couldn't be any more grateful!

They helped us generate more business. Through the deardoc chatbot we're able to get 10-12 new customers per month. This has been one of the jey contributors in helping usw scale our business.

User friendly...AI Chat is my favorite, allowing patients to ask questions and inquire about our services after hours.  Giving us information to follow up and respond without making phone calls.  Texting is an easy way of communicating back and initiating appointments with the patient.

**What do you dislike about DearDoc?**

I have not found anything that I dislike about Dear Doc.  Our CSM, Natalia Castillo, is super and very helpful in many areas.

We wanted an increase in Google reviews and our website visibility.  With the help of Natalia, she has made that happen!

Features that encourage new clients. Hugo is an excellent customer care rep. Dear Doc provided some very effective upgrades to my website that resulted in enough new business to defray the cost of the subscription.

The website design team did not meet my expectations for developing  a high quality, professional website, specifically in terms of languaging and attention to detail

Upgrading website. Engaging new patients. 80 some referrals from Dear Doc resulted in 66 new patients making appointments

I love the AI chat feature that I'm currently using for my website! I also love that I have a personal Customer Success Manager, Ashley Malone, that I can reach out to at anytime with questions or concerns. She's not only very knowledgeable but patient and kind as well!

I loved getting to know the DearDoc team in the onboarding process. Everything went very smoothly and in a timely manner. My questions have been answered quickly, the website design process was the best I've experienced and it turned out great. Highly recommend!!

I use Square for online scheduling and for selling product. I wish I could import my leads from DearDoc into Square once the client schedules.

They take care of contacting missed calls, answering questions on the website through AI chat, client review requests, Google integration, and not letting any leads slip through the cracks. It is helping us increase our clientele as questions are easily answered on the site.

DearDoc has cut down on our phone calls since most of the questions people have can be answered with the AI chat.  There is the added benefit of questions being answered after hours as well.

The customer service!! Garrett Wrenn worked with us to accommodate all our needs, and it was done within 24-48 hours. They are reliable, fast and always go above and beyond. They get new features quicker than any other companies we have worked with in the past.

The website they built for us was beautiful. The concept is wonderful (if they were dependable).

They did not follow through as agreed upon. Didn't post social media posts on time and posted the wrong posts to our site. Did not update our website and would not give us access to update it ourselves. I cancelled services (several times) and they have a ridiculous protocol to terminate. Even after having a DearDoc employee confirm I did not have a financial balance, I received a threatening email from their attorney demanding money from me.

We became a client of DearDoc after a demo of their AI which was a "no brainer".  Not only are the products and features outstanding, their support is unsurpassed. Our customer experience lead,  Garrett Wrenn , always exceeds our expectations + is truly fabulous to work with!

Decent product that got the job done.  I feel like the patient trafick was captured on my website more with DearDoc than without it.

I feel like I was sold one thing and then got something else. Once I started using the program I realized it was not what I was expecting.  The salesman was a little slimy and I felt like I got tricked into signing up.  Not cool.  lost my trust instantly.

**Recommendations to others considering DearDoc:**

Look at other companies that offer the same type of services.  DearDoc is super expensive, several thousand dollars a month even if you get their "discounted rate"  The sales guy I talked to made it seem like I was specially chosen to join their collection of high-quality doctors offices in the country.  They offered me a great product at an insane price, I said no way.  They then dropped the price way down if I signed up for a year all upfront, making it look like a great deal.  Compared to the first number, it was a great deal, but still way too expensive.  I used it for 2 or 3 days and realized the sales guy way over promised on the product.  a few of the features I bought didnt work, The system was nothing special compared to other companies that offer the same thing.  I called and asked for a refund after 3 days, they said no way, you signed up for a year, too bad so sad.  After 3 months of fighting,they finally gave me back half the money I spent.  I dont recommend them at all.  I dont trust them, at least not the sales team.  decent product that gets the job done but way over priced.  Dont get sucked in, slimy sales people are great at their jobs but they make a nightmare for the admin people that have to deal with grumpy customers that were oversold and under delivered.

Trying to capture more of the website traffic and turn them into leads or actual customers.  A lot of people ckicked on the widget they set up on my website.  They kept telling me that I had "x" number of leads each month I used them, which looked great on paper to them.  The problem was that I had absolutely no increase in the number of new customers the entire time I used them.  All the customers, instead of clicking on my website "schedule an appointment now" button, they all clicked on DearDocs pop up widget.  Dear Doc took credit for all the new patients.  They then tried to tell me that they had generated all these new patients for my practice.

The initial setup was very easy and they created our AI chat within a few days. Our dedicated customer success manager, Lucy, is accessible any time for questions or updates and has guided us every step of the way!  We are very happy with our decision to join DearDoc and would highly recommend their services to any medical practice.

Nothings I can think of right now. Everyone has been great, and the product does as advertised.

We were on the fence because we had not heard of them until they reached out to us, but it's worth it. You will get your return on your money almost immediately.

First off, I never write reviews. I don't have time, and I never feel the need to. But dear doc has done so much for my practice, that I feel obligated to. \n\nThe product works. We use the ai chat, review generator, and text2pay. The ai chat has brought in about 5-7 new patients every week, and we've gone from 3-4 average google reviews, and are now at over 60+ 5 star reviews (we've been using dear doc for over a year). \n\nText2pay has been much easier for my patients to pay their balances that are due. We used to do mailers, but we never got a great response. \n\nThe dear doc dashboard has also been easy for our staff and is very thought out. it's the first time we are able to text with our patients

**What do you dislike about DearDoc?**

I wish there were a better way to organize new vs existing patients in the dear doc dashboard. right now, it all goes into one list, and even though it states which is new or existing, it is still not too easy to see.

we had no idea how to handle this until deardoc came through, and has completely changed the business for us.

We have been pleased with the services DearDoc provides. It allows patients to inquire about services at their convenience instead of waiting on hold or reaching us after hours. The notifications that we receive about these inquiries allow us to follow up with patients and schedule appointments for them. Additionally, the support that DearDoc provides is very responsive.

The only improvement I would like to see is obtaining more personal information about the patient ie address, birthday, insurance carrier, and ID number, to be collected at the time of inquiry.

Is a nice streamlined way to input new patient inquiries from website or they auto sync to dashboard through chat.  Capability to call or text patients directly and arrange patients as active leads or move to lost leads or other to keep organized.

**What do you dislike about DearDoc?**

Chat is bulky and annoying on the site.  I honestly prefer to just use the direct patient inquiry call to action on our website and manually input them to the dear doc dashboard.  For several months, they had some "glitch" on my account and nothing was pushing through which resulted in a significant loss of potential revenue.  Hardly any integrations which would be helpful like auto pushing through from wordpress the direct website patient inquires.

Streamlined way to organize patient followup (granted, we never had used any type of CRM in the past)
