It is very helpful that there is a free version available with which you can try out DatoCMS. We use it in conjunction with Gatsby to create a static website from components and the content from DatoCMS. The content is read from DatoCMS via GraphQL. The feature that allows you to save changes as a draft before publishing them is essential for us. This way, changes can first be checked on our preview system before they are published and go live on the live system. We use WebHooks to GitHub to start the build of the website. Displaying the build status in DatoCMS itself is very helpful for our authors. It is also noteworthy that new features and improvements can be activated selectively and as needed.
