
Cookiebot adapted very quickly to the changes that were happening at lightning speed. What did I like most about it? The fact that all those complicated legal regulations, implementations, adjustments, etc. were easy peasy lemon squeezy with Cookiebot! Cookiebot had a simple, intuitive, and uncomplicated CMP control panel. The banner configuration was extremely simple and allowed you to immediately preview the actual appearance of the designed banner, and the most difficult part—the implementation—was easy to carry out thanks to the very comprehensive and extensive support, which not only included instructions but also answers to various questions. In summary, integrating Cookiebot with the website using Google Tag Manager was not a major problem. In terms of frequency, there were months when we carried out over several hundred implementations. Currently, unfortunately, the topic has quietened down a bit and there are significantly fewer implementations, so I visit the panel much less often, but there isn't a month when I'm not available on it. What I disliked most about Cookiebot was the change in the billing method—first, the number of subpages was changed, then, as expected, the prices followed suit, which in turn were adjusted after a short period of time to the new billing method, which was no longer based on subpages, but on the number of sessions, which are much more difficult to calculate. The old method allowed you to find out clearly, quickly, and transparently what the costs of implementing CMP would be. I'm glad that Cookiebot has returned to this, but these frequent changes have certainly caused the loss of many customers... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
