## About Contentstack
Contentstack is redefining how modern digital experiences are built and managed. As the pioneer of the Agentic Experience Platform (AXP), Contentstack brings together structured content and brand governance (Content Cloud), real-time customer data, omnichannel personalization (Data Cloud) and autonomous AI orchestration (Agent OS) into one unified system. While many organizations adopted headless CMS or standalone AI tools expecting transformation, they often found themselves managing disconnected systems and manual workflows. Contentstack helps enterprises move beyond that complexity by connecting content, data and AI in a way that makes digital experiences faster to launch, easier to manage and more adaptive in real time. Leading brands including Steve Madden, LG Electronics, Subaru of America, Dolce & Gabbana, 1-800-Flowers, Decathlon, and Caesars Entertainment rely on Contentstack to reduce operational friction and deliver personalized, scalable digital experiences with confidence. The company is known for its customer-first culture and commitment to the communities it serves through the Contentstack Cares program. Learn more at https://www.contentstack.com.

## Contentstack Reviews
 ### 1. Contentstack is a friendly and flexible WCM

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian J. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2020

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

Contentstack provides a friendly interface for modeling and managing our web content. Being headless it allows for the flexibility we like to have when implementing our front end websites.

Also, the product is constantly improving. The team is releasing new useful features all the time.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

Some aspects of the content search could be improved, but I believe this is being updated in the next release.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using Contentstack for our website content. The method of content modeling helps to minimize duplication of shared content throughout the site. The roles based access allows us to share access to certain sections of the website to relevant people throughout our organization. Contentstack's API allows for flexibility in both consuming content, and also in pushing content into Contentstack from other systems.

 ### 2. Clean, Flexible and Fast

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Johnbabu K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2020

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

Easy content creation and maintenance
Small learning curve
Fast content delivery
Great localization support
Well documented APIs
Webhooks and Extensions are useful for all types of third-party integrations.
Role-Based Access Control
Superb Support

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

Contentstack does what it promises to do very well.
The user interface is functional but can be better. Options to configure the interface for non-technical users would be great.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We could have a single source of truth for all our content. The content stack made it very easy for us to have this content localized. We could easily sync the content from different sources to Contentstack for delivery and share easily with other systems/services.

 ### 3. it is a very intuitive tool with great capability, especially in handling omnichannel

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 01, 2021

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

Ease of creating content and multivariables through which it becomes possible to work even with A/B testing of the content.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

The lack of a way to work without logging in for teams still in the training stage to improve themselves.

**Recommendations to others considering Contentstack:**

It is an excellent product, especially when used for omnichannel content management.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

reduction of content publication time and the independence to handle content without needing a developer for everything to go into production.

 ### 4. Contentstack Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katie B. | Digital Product Owner, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2020

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

Quick and easy onboarding. The easy access to all our sites and content. All sites managed in one central place. Wonderful to be able to setup multiple environments that can be published to for instance QA, PPE and Production.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

That asset URL's change when a document is updated. Would be great to keep the URL the same. So that it does not have to be updated for files changing on a monthly/weekly basis. Changing asset URL's lead to allot of redirects etc being required as the links get used in emails, sites, app etc.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CMS access across multiple countries. Content sharing across different platforms. Workflow and approval challenges. Easy to setup roles and rights for users. Wonderful to have the ability to setup publishing rights on template and environment level.

 ### 5. A+ Headless CMS

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steve F. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 01, 2020

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

The support from Contentstack. The docs, live chat and, of course, customer success are all first class. If there's an query then you can get acknowledgement, if not a solution, very quickly and there will always be an answer. While we were doing the initial build of our platform we had multiple Zoom sessions with our customer success manager and solutions architect where they were able to confirm we had used the system in the right way and/or suggest alternative implementation methods. I have personally used the live chat on a few occasions when needed, which has helped solve smaller issues without taking too much time. For larger issues or queries, we have always felt comfortable to email the team and arrange sessions to talk through solutions.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

It's just too flexible! We have found that there are so many different ways to solve a problem. It's not always clear what the best solution is, but we have found that the Contentstack team like the way we have implemented functionality/features. Sometimes we have felt that it would be a lot easier to use a traditional CMS but then we remember that we would have to use hacky solutions rather than custom-built.

**Recommendations to others considering Contentstack:**

It is very flexible and a lot of thought and effort is needed for content modelling and development, but you can build very powerful and customised solutions.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have rebuilt our web platform from the ground up. It gives us so much more flexibility around our front-end and back-end stack than you get from a traditional CMS.

 ### 6. Best headless CMS I have worked with.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Susanna T. | Software Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2020

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

API and web hook to create a json file in s3.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

Nothing comes in mind. If we have had a issue, they have implemented it as feature request.

**Recommendations to others considering Contentstack:**

This is a good CMS for many locale and powerful API.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As we have 12 locale, and 16 language this was the best CMS to help us with that.

 ### 7. Very easy to use for content management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 01, 2020

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

I've used many content management systems (perhaps about 15 or so in the course of the last decade, both custom and widely known), and I find Contentstack to be very clearly laid out. I especially appreciate the ability to stage content. Far too many management systems rely on edits being remedied post-publishing, and occasionally the previews are not as accurately reflective of the live content as I'd like them to be envisioned.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

Occasionally I am unable to add a certain time to a blog post, but it fixes itself when I refresh. That's the only trouble I've run into. I'm not sure about the breadth of capabilities with Contentstack, but I'd be curious to know whether or not it's possible to have built-in metrics about view, links clicked, or other similar metrics to use for content strategy or implementing other improvements.

**Recommendations to others considering Contentstack:**

I highly recommend Contentstack for straightforward publishing. As I understand it, it is easy to add fields as needed, which is not a feature often offered or easily implemented on the backend. Though I don't handle the technical aspects of adding the fields, it does not appear to be a big ask to do so.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm not sure if the question directly applies to how our company uses it, since there's no distinctive problem but rather a need. I help create and build content, and the primary benefit is speed -- it's easy to save, make changes, or publish a draft to both staging and to go live.

 ### 8. Great CMS with food UI for editors and a powerful API

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hallur H. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2020

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

Apart from the generally simple and easy to use UI for content editors, it has been fun to use this CMS with the frequent updates and the company's positive response to feature requests. We truly get the feeling that they are valuing their users' opinions and ideas.
We've actually gone as far as to use the CMS not only for content purposes, but also begun to create configurations and controllers, in order to avoid having to deploy all the time.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

One of the things that we feel could still improve, is the bulk actions. Can't really say I dislike it, but I do feel there's a lot of chance for improvements there. Adding more functions that could be addressed in bulk would greatly benefit us.

**Recommendations to others considering Contentstack:**

It's a great web content management system for medium to large sized companies in search for a headless solution. Easy to integrate, intuitive for business users and content editors and great support channels.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When we first implemented Contentstack, we were looking for a native headless CMS, that was robust and stable on the dev side, could be easily integrated with other systems and handle multiple languages and locales, and was simple and intuitive on the editor side. We needed roles and permissions for our users and were looking for a system that provided workflows, preferably across languages.
Two years into our partnership, Contenstack has delivered on all accounts and we are extremely pleased with their product and services.

 ### 9. Transforming the digital experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Head of Digital Products, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2020

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

Contentstack is a central part of our new digital stack. It is going to play a huge role in transform the digital experience we offer our customers. The speed and flexibility of the product saves a huge amount of time. The support, speed of response on our queries and the willingness to listen is second to none and better than anything else I have experienced in software.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

Small UX issue with the content type edit button. That is easily manageable though, and you get use to it. There are some restrictions on things like the number of fields that we could have as part of one content type of web page but again, Contentstack changed this. It would be nice if we could set and manage those limits ourselves.

**Recommendations to others considering Contentstack:**

Take the effort to build a POC. Try to look beyond seeing Contentstack as a way to manage your website content and see it as a way to manage the entire digital experience on all touchpoints.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Contentstack has allowed us to generate and produce content at scale. We work with thousands of suppliers around the world and Contentstack makes it easy to gather fresh content from them all. Contentstack is also helping us breakdown inefficient processes that have always caused us problems. One example is the improvement between the Product and Marketing teams in adding new product to the website. Using workflows in Contentstack we have put clear processes in place between teams that has improved visibility of the teams in regards to where the next action lies.

 ### 10. A new journey with ContentStack

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2020

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

Easy to use, scalable, making web publishing and ongoing maintenance very easy!

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

We ran into a few technical difficulties but was supported by the team and the issues have been resolved

**Recommendations to others considering Contentstack:**

Do you research and have a clear understanding of what you want to achieve with a CMS but ContentStack will most likely be a suitable solution.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Implementation of web publishing standards across various business on the continent. Due to a solid implementation it is easy and fast to roll out new sites, new pages and maintenance and updates to web pages arent a challenge any more.

 ### 11. It's exactly the kind of CMS we need

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2020

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

There are lot of things to like about it. Contentstack scored very high in our evaluation compared to other competitors. It scored high because of completeness of its API, its global reach and excellent documentation.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

There are some tweaks needed in UI for ease of use but the team is very responsive and is on its way to releasing a UI refresh soon

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have consumers that use variety of devices plus we support many different channels to distribute our content. Our audience are spread globally. Headless nature of Contentstack prevents us from creating content with assumptions about how it is going to render. This allows downstream teams flexibility to choose styles without worrying about any bugs that may have been introduced during authoring.

 ### 12. Digital publisher on a new CMS

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bernice B. | Digital Content Publisher, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

Im happy as a Publisher.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like the the templates make for easy page creation

Ability to change documentation as-needed without code deployments with various contributors.

 ### 14. Amazing Headless CMS

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 28, 2020

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

I love Contentstack's API-first approach. Their system is fast, stable, and intuitive. If you run into issues, support is always just a click away.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

We've noticed that some support requests take longer than we would like to resolve.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Contentstack allows our delivery teams to move forward quickly with projects by lowering the barrier to entry when compared to a traditional CMS. It's enabled a degree of flexibility in our delivery methods that simply didn't exist before.

 ### 15. Amazing Product!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Junaid P. | Senior Business Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2020

Flexibility of a changing implementation

 ### 16. Contentstack is a great modern CMS

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian J. | Senior Web Developer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2020

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

The Contentstack team is always innovating / adding helpful features. They are very open to feedback and feature requests.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

We sometimes run into challenges when changing the data structure of content types with many entries.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Contentstack provides us with a flexible solution to manage our content. We have a variety of users who need to access and edit our content in a variety of ways including content authors, editors, developers and translators. The headless nature of Contentstack allows us to use APIs for our our automated tasks, while still providing a nice UI when needed.

Since Contentstack is cloud based we don't need to worry about managing infrastructure. We can trust that our data is safe and available.

 ### 17. I would definitely recommend the concept a headless CMS to a friend or colleague.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jack S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2020

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

The ability to access huge amounts of data that would have otherwise been difficult to access.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

There are still areas of the site that are still being developed, and improvements are constantly being made. Although this is a good thing, it can be a frustrating experience developing schema for a new and better feature to appear e.g. Modular blocks.

**Recommendations to others considering Contentstack:**

Look at your plans for the future of the business and see whether looking at Apps Is a consideration. Having all your content/data in one place is perfect for launching into other platforms.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Definitely being able to set the foundations required for an A/B testing culture going forwards with the business. The benefits are vast, with the future-proofing of data being the main benefit. It will allow relatively easy expansion in the future.

 ### 18. I'm an Engineering Manager who helped select and onboard Contentstack at Airbnb

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shahaf A. | Software Engineering Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2020

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

Flexible schema definition (e.g. modular blocks). Customize publication stages. Webhooks to synchronize content in Contentstack with other services (e.g. translation, search index). Customizable/extensible UI for authors.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

The CDN cache-purge policy is "big hammer", not "surgical". There's a rate limit for content management API requests. There's been some confusion about the different kinds of API tokens and which functionality is supported by each.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We migrated from a legacy in-house CMS to Contentstack, which sped up our overall SOA migration, and in the process gave our content authors a much friendlier interface. The new CMS is much easier to evolve than our old one. Contentstack is starting to be used by other teams at Airbnb.

 ### 19. Depends on the Aptitude/Experience of the Company re: understanding CMSs

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Wine and Spirits | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2020

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

Contentstack seems to be pretty straight-forward and nimble to understand in terms of building templates, and is intuitive to get around in (finding content entries, editing, publishing, scheduling, etc). It is great for managing regular eCommerce promotions and putting together storytelling pages about products using atomic content modules I designed.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

ContentStack needs more pre-built solutions out of the box that are commonly requested business needs of content mgmt teams--a blog, a preview of content (especially an entire page) within the product without having to publish, pre-configured content modules that can be dragged and dropped in the desired order, an easy way to set custom URLs at the root level...basically if they could mimic more of the experience of a WordPress or Squarespace CMS, it'd get content teams onboard so fast! Otherwise, you have to have a seasoned Product Mngr with a vision for all of these things who has to define it all upfront, then have a tech team spend months of time building it all. Sales team should identify common use case for content marketing nowadays and come up with pre-built examples. I worked for many years in the CMS SaaS industry and we always built a lot of pre-existing models like this to close sales deals.

**Recommendations to others considering Contentstack:**

As I mentioned above, you have to have a seasoned Product Mngr with a vision for all of the content mgmt needs of the company... who defines it all upfront, then has a tech team spend months of time building it all. Just because you acquired a CMS doesn't mean suddenly everything is automatically ready to go.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest struggle is being able to create custom URLs at the root level, example: mydomain.com/hello. We're working on some kind of backend rails solution for this. It seems its been a bit of an extra struggle getting things to work with rails, but I know CS has a rails gem that we haven't explored using yet...we are just doing raw calls as I understand it. My tech team has been saddles with hundreds of requests for other things, so we dont have the time to dedicate to the CMS.

 ### 20. Powerful, Modern CMS

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2020

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

Content Management Systems have come a long way but Contentstack and heacless CMS have taken it one step further. With the decoupling of the authoring and presentation layers, the front-end engineers and content managers have truly become independent of each other and can get content to their users faster.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

As with any CMS, content managers and developers are working in opposite directions. In order to resolve this longstanding issue with CMS, it is valuable for a platform like Contentstack to make such changes be able to propagate seamlessly.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Content consistency across environments; ease of use from business user and content manager perspective,

 ### 21. Digital Marketing Specialist

**Recommendations to others considering Contentstack:**

If you are having problems with efficacy in building digital assets such as web pages or landing pages I would highly recommend investing in ContentStack

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By using Contentstack, we are able to quickly roll out new, fresh content, and for many product launches, we've been able to have our designers and copywriters churn out new, unique pages without our development team getting involved.

 ### 23. Flexible system, amazing support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2020

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

The flexibility and ease of content modelling as well as onboarding content users. The in-product chat is also super helpful as the customer support is incredibly responsive. We had our stack up and running, powering content in a couple months. The last project that was simliar took multiple quarters.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

The pricing is confusing and difficult to understand. Localization is not ideal as once something is localized, updating is very confusing

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Landing page builder, injecting landing pages with content, blog pages, Content for email templates

 ### 24. Flexible and responsive with great support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2020

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

We've tightly integrated ContentStack into our .NET platform. The content dynamically combines with our system-wide pattern library enabling us to create and maintain content in real time using data cache and webhooks.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

Some of the field types were arbitrarily too restrictive when we first started, but CS has resolved those issues.

without any reservations

Flipped technical debt issues enabling us to spend much more time on strategic projects.

 ### 28. Takes a bit to implement but worth it

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2020

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

We used to require a full time engineer to make even small changes to our site. Using contentstack we were able to turn all our pages into flexible templates so the marketing team can now make virtually all changes on our own, freeing up engineering headcount and making us way faster and more nimble.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

It's pricey and requires a lot of technical expertise to implement. Once it's done though it's quite flexible.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have our whole website on Contentstack and have ported over all our web pages into templates. We no longer rely on engineering to build or edit pages.

 ### 29. Ever evolving feature rich product and fantastic service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 01, 2020

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

The core product has all of the features our business requires. Other similar products never seem to cover all of our requirements like Contentstack does. Their support and account management has been fantastic since day one.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

There are some bulk operation features lacking we could really benefit from, but I believe these are in the works. The UI could also be improved particularly from a mobile standpoint.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are building static marketing websites and dynamic web applications. Contentstack's headless architecture and APIs have allowed us to build our front end experiences very enjoyably and reliably.

 ### 30. Easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2020

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

Ease of use and tons of options. Everything is straight forward. API is well documented and support is superb.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

I think some of the UI can be tweaked a little so things appear cleaner

**Recommendations to others considering Contentstack:**

Let Contentstack do the heavy lifting and focus on the more important things.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allowing content creators who knows nothing about code to come in make updates was a win for everyone. Content creators does not have to wait for a developer and developers can focus making the experience better.

 ### 31. Everything we wanted from a headless CMS

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Simon H. | CTO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2020

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

The product is undergoing constant development and new features are generally very useful, the platform is always growing and improving and continues to provide everything we require.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

Performing very large operations spanning thousands of records can be quite slow due to the requirement to throttle API requests - a bulkified API would be a useful addition to the platform.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has been invaluable in supporting a company wide platforming - the ease of schema creation and data management has been hugely helpful during the project.

 ### 32. Great experience and partnership so far.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angelina J. | Manager of U.S. Customer Experience , Construction, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 14, 2019

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

Contentstack allows you to create different types of webpages. It let you add reusable content blocks like headers and menus. This comes in handy when you need to manage elements of an app for various devices. It also has easy-to-follow documentation and example code for various project types.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

Contentstack has no support for document indexing and does not have any website management either. The drop zones sometimes making it difficult to smoothly drag-and-drop the objects. Its user interface is also not very intuitive either.

**Recommendations to others considering Contentstack:**

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2020

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

UI can be improved a bit for navigating the stacks but thats a "reaching" feedback

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating a seamless process in making site updates without having to update the codebase, as well as scheduling of updates.

 ### 38. A CMS that allows us to have the flexibility we need

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vincent S. | Senior Account Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2019

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

First and foremost we like that Contentstack is a pure SaaS headless CMS. They have taken great care to develop virtually every feature a headless CMS could need, while avoiding the siren call of developing features that would steer their product away from microservices and towards a monolith. Contentstack also has more features than the others we considered in our RFP, including Contentful, Kentico Cloud, Zesty.io, Prismic.io, ButterCMS, and Amplience. Critical features we found only in Contentstack included features for content composition (called modular blocks and groups in Contentstack), batch publishing (called Releases in Contentstack), and scheduled publishing.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

The fit and finish of the Authoring UI is a little worse than some of the competition, with some elements taking up more or less space than they should, and drop zones sometimes making it difficult to smoothly drag-and-drop. These don't seriously impede the authoring process, but do make the product feel slightly less refined that other SaaS headless CMS's.

**Recommendations to others considering Contentstack:**

Be clear about your target architecture. If you are committed to a monolith (e.g. traditional Java EE web application), then Contentstack might be a mixed bag. Implementing Contentstack benefits from familiarity with with RESTful APIs and serverless tools like AWS Lambda / Azure Functions / GCP Cloud Functions. However, if you want a modern web application or native app built on top of microservices, then Contentstack is a great fit.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think that Contentstack has more features than their competitors. They develop new features more quickly, and their sales and customer success teams really understand the needs of enterprise customers. I would say that Contentstack is the best Headless CMS available today and it has helped us get our projects up quickly.

 ### 39. Manage all your media files under one control

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anna S. | Software Engineer, Financial Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 31, 2019

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

All the media files can be readily managed through one control panel. You can also review your previous content/asset and also save the last ones. You can also add security through SSO with SAML 2.0 and more.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

There are no major disadvantages, but apart from seeing the built in examples it would be better to upload some of the projects on new devices such as smart watches and VR headsets.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The foremost feature is that Contentstack allows the user to upload its data to any environment of testing, developing and production.

 ### 40. Contentstack has made my job so much easier

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristyn L. | Front End Web Developer, Legal Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2018

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

I love how easy Contentstack makes it to control and change content. Many of my team members have been able to figure out how to use the platform on their own with little to no training. I love the simplicity and flexibility of the platform. It makes it not only easy to use, but versatile enough to match the needs of our website.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

As I use the platform, I think there is room for more features and additional user experience improvements. However, the support team is extremely open and eager to hearing these suggestions, and new features are constantly being rolled out.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When we decided to do an overhaul of our entire website, we were looking for a CMS that would keep things simple and user-friendly for storing our content while allowing us to have freedom when it came to the actual development of the website.

 ### 41. Best content management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tracey M. | Executive Director, Public Safety, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2018

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

I really enjoy Contentstack because of its ease of use and ability to be super flexible. It integrates easily with my Salesforce, and allows me to collect the big data I need to know what is going on on my website.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

I've found nothing I dislike about Contentstack. The easy to understand dashboard, and ease of inputting new content make updating any of the pages easy.

**Recommendations to others considering Contentstack:**

If you want seamless control between desktop and mobile applications, this is what you wan to be using.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My sites hosta a global directory of anti violence organizations. With the help of Contentstack I am able to track which records are looked at, for how long, if there is a specific region getting more attention than others, and the ability to make new resources available on the website by only working in my Salesforce instance.

 ### 42. Great option as a flexible headless CMS for many types of applications and services

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2018

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

Well thought out and designed interface. Makes it very easy to configure content types with many different types of fields and options. Nested and optionally multiple grouping was one of the features that makes Content Stack stand out. Unlike some other options CMS is not blog oriented and easily to understand JSON output can be used and shared across multiple services.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

In the past scheduling entries to be published at future dates has been confusing for some of our content creators if edits are made after a post has been scheduled. Need to be careful modifying existing fields in established content types to avoid accidentally losing data. I hear this is an improvement they are working on.

**Recommendations to others considering Contentstack:**

Saves the trouble of having to build a custom backend and just focus on the frontend and user facing aspects of your app or site.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There are many benefits of having a headless CMS that just outputs json and associated assets. Solved our need to serve static content but retain the ability for content creators to make edits without engineering assistance.

 ### 43. Content Stack Changes the Game Company-Wide

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason R. | Chief Information Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2018

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

Content stack has saved my company a lot of time and money by making it easy to deploy and manage user-facing content across my organization. My Developers love it because it was easy to deploy and fast; my marketing team loves it because they can go in and update content on their own. I had my developers build a custom-landing-page template builder on top of content stack so that the marketing team can drag and drop modules, and then Content Stack populates the modules with data. Super slick. We use content stack to run the bulk of the website, to build landing pages, and to run our blog. It's been a great tool for us and everyone in the organization loves it.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

I think that there's still some room for the User Interface to be as intuitive as the consumer (b2c) products in the space.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Content stack has given us the usability of off-domain consumer-grade products while allowing us the SEO benefits of having content on our domain. That's been the biggest win.

 ### 44. The unique supporting content

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alberto H. | Agente de Publicidad, Consumer Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2018

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

The easy way to deliver digital content and the multiple interactions by using it on mobile, by the web or and wherever you are. I like the applications development it has that gives the chance to review any content.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

I do not like the cost per month, it is too expensive to pay for only a monthly rate, it could be mnore accessible to the people.

**Recommendations to others considering Contentstack:**

I recommend the software even if it is expensive, it is easy of use and implement.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has helped me with all the content I have managed across my job, editing and posting announces. It has the tools that I have needed to create new contents.

 ### 45. The best CMS!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2018

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

Contentstack has allowed us to be increasingly flexible and creative in our development efforts while at the same time significantly reducing the number of tickets in our backlog by enabling our stakeholders to manage their content. The audit logs and detailed user management allow us to monitor when changes are made as well as which user made the changes (awesome!).

The team at Contentstack is also fantastic. They are quick to help us resolve any issues we run into and are very attentive to our business needs.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

There is nothing about Contentstack that I do not like.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have significantly reduced our backlog by giving stakeholders the ability to own their content on our web properties.

 ### 46. Content server

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Derek U. | Asesor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2018

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

The well designed platform is adapted to any user, it provides with a way to manage my own content without using private web sites. In addition to this, I received with pleasure the easy way of integration with digital app, android and others mobile devices.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

I think that this platform fulfill with all the requirements but unfortunately the high level of cost make it difficult to access to all users.

**Recommendations to others considering Contentstack:**

Yes, recommended.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have reached many clients with the creations of new content, it has served as one way connections with my business contacts.

 ### 47. ContentStack Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melissa M. | Marketing Strategy Implementation Manager, Hospitality, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2018

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

Easy to deploy, easy to use at every level, and it helps us push push digital content quickly saving us alot of time.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

There's nt much to complain about yet. I would appreciate more customized features in the future though!

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use this as our primary (and only) CMS tool for managing and updating digital content.

 ### 48. Contentstack enabled me to update my content quickly and easily for my wedding planning business.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marie L. | Owner, Event Planner & Coordinator, Events Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2018

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

Ease of use. The ability to quickly produce blog new content, publish and preview.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

Contentstack was able to address all my needs for my website.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was using wordpress before and it was difficult to update my site because I had to code and I'm not a programmer.

 ### 49. Recently Re-designed

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2017

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

Visually appealing. Recently went through a UI redesign.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

None that I see as a non-power user. I use it exclusively to post events to our website, and it functions perfectly for this task.

**Recommendations to others considering Contentstack:**

I'm not sure about ease of use during setup, but it's straightforward for non-admins to use.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use this tool to add events and event links to our corporate website.

 ### 50. A CMS that requires little to no training!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sylvie S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2015

**What do you like best about Contentstack?**

Making updates is fast and easy! I like how easy it is to preview on staging and then pushing to the live site.

**What do you dislike about Contentstack?**

That not everyone uses this awesome CMS.

**Recommendations to others considering Contentstack:**

You should at least see a demo. One of the nicest things about contentstack.io is that you can customize how the system is built. It's flexible and logical.

**What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were using a platform not meant to be a CMS (WordPress) and it didn't have a true staging site, so updates had to be done twice; this introduces errors in real time!!! Also, making the update required you to also commit to the repo. Not efficient. A simple web update that should take a few seconds, would take at least 30 minutes.

We realized that contentstack.io made all our employees happy and not afraid to make web updates. Anyone could do it and some didn't even have to look at the documentation because it was intuitive.
