The service is highly unreliable due to its lack of offline functionality. If Extensis/Cloudflare servers go down, the product is unusable, severely disrupting workflow.

Crucially, despite being a cloud service, there is no customer backup facility. The subscription model is misleading because the company fails to clearly state that the customer is solely responsible for all data backups. The documentation provided for self-backup is extremely poor, outdated, and required weeks of customer pressure (my own effort) to force the company to acknowledge and partially update. The flexibility I have to set up my fonts the way that works best for me. Cloud based gives me peace of mind. Being able to help others within the company navigate and setting up custom folders for our clients. I use Connect Fonts everyday. Suitcase Fusion allows you to gather all the fonts you need for a project(s) in one place without needing to be connected to its source. Over the years Extensis has been slow in innovation, the software has become slower and unnecesarily complicated. Their website platform is terrible, unintuitive, confusing, unorganized, and impossible to navigate. Their support has been some of the worst I've had to deal with over these last few years, with them making it very dificult for using to solve problems. Their pricepoint has become too expensive for too little innovation and highly bloated software. I absolutely do not recommed extensis or any of their platforms.
