What do you like best about Collect.chat?

At this point absolutely nothing - the entire purpose of the tool is to generate leads and they have been actively hiding our leads and not notifying us of it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Collect.chat?

Having been with them for over 7 years, they have doubled the billing and added virtually no new features since we first signed up.

They have however introduced caps and set their response limits to include incomplete responses.

Anyone versed in chatbot lead gen, knows that one of the most effective ways to incite a chat is to have an initial yes/no question button to click as the first initial pop up. Well guess what, a large number of users will click the Yes/No to try and close the window too and you get charged for that.

To top it off, today we have discovered that we've not received a huge volume of high ticket leads because Collect.Chat have blocked them. Have they emailed the primary billing email to alert that they are being suppressed? NO. Have they released the emails when the next billing period rolls over, NO.

Plenty of other options out there and this has cost us thousands in lost business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Collect.chat?

Templates are just unique, and it's very easy to set up and very powerful to use. Services are excellent and have 24*7 support, which is just amazing.

What do you dislike about Collect.chat?

For the pricing part, I think for using the full version, we need to pay the amount $24, $49, $99 for Lite, Standard, and plus subscription, which is a little high as compared to other competitors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Collect.chat?

Collect.chat is easy and straightforward to use. No hassle whatsoever to get it running on almost any website. It is very easy to get started and to implement easy rule-based processes for inbound lead generation. Price is good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Collect.chat?

On the basic subscription, there is not much room to change the design or branding of the widget - but I believe that's fair. Also, it would be great if the bot was a little more intelligent at times and could do more than following rule-based systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Collect.chat?

CollectChat is a joy to use and there's almost no learning curve.

Setting up dozens of chatbots, copying/reusing past campaigns, customizing a bot's appearance & behavior and - most importantly - sending the collected data from the bot to 3rd party apps via Zapier is very intuitive.

The customer support is amazing. Questions are answered promptly and feature requests are being taken seriously. Reliability and responsiveness are the most important aspects when choosing a software provider and Collect Chat really shines in that regard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Collect.chat?

The only thing that's missing is the ability to gradually capture information. As of right now, we can only send captured information to a webhook after every single question in a conversation flow has been answered by a user. It would be beneficial for more complex use cases or longer conversations to be able to send data to a webhook multiple times within a single conversation in order to not miss out on leads who may are interested but may have (un)intentionally not clicked on the very last button in a conversation with a bot. What do you like best about Collect.chat?

collect.chat integration to websites is as easy as possible. The setup was simple and quick and what we liked most about it was the modern and engaging chat experience that many customers loved, it's not too blunt and a happy way to interact. What do you dislike about Collect.chat?

Their pricing strategy is a bit on the weak side, while we loved it's free and understandable but only one of their higher tiers allows us to remove the branding and it has added up quite a bit after having it on lots of websites. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Collect.chat?

The drag and drop visual builder for creating the chatbot logic. Very easy to use and lots of power between zapier integrations and all the collection/chat message types. They also have a lot of pre-built templates so you don't have to start from scratch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Collect.chat?

There is no live chat option, so you cannot have an option to bring in a human and convert to a live conversation if the person wants. That would be the only thing to dislike about Collect.chat. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
