The interface is a bit strange. It doesn't seem to have a real 'home page feel' - the open files are listed on the same page as where you would be accessing an open file. I would like to have a clean looking home page where it shows my open files before I enter into any of them. There was also some confusion with the contract regarding the minimum file amount. The only real pain point I've experienced is that sometimes it is difficult to remove tasks for a client, like when they call up and say that they don't want to wire their proceeds or don't want to proceed with esignatures. I like that Closinglock is easy to use and integrates with SoftPro. The addition of DocuSign as a feature is also great. This integration will save us money since we currently have a separate contract for DocuSign and it will now be integrated with our files. We don't use the good funds feature but it's more that we already have a system for online earnest money and we haven't gotten to a point yet where we are willing to accept larger fund amounts remotely other than wires, but some day we may reach that. There are some things within the Bank Account Verification process that are finicky and hard for customers/staff to understand. I tried to edit a client's email the other day and it wouldn't work. I had to delete them and re-add them with the correct information. It would be helpful to be able to edit their email. Also, if we add clients, it would be nice to send them previously uploaded documents without having to go back into our system, resave the documents that were already uploaded to send to a new client.
