I have come to really like and appreciate the customer service with CertifID. When a client has an issue using the program, I can easily chat with a representative to figure out this issue--most of the time I have an answer within 5 minutes or less. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love the ease of requesting payoffs through CertifID, as they assist with follow-ups and ensure the payoff information is legitimate. I appreciate their customer service and having a dedicated person to contact with questions, making it easier as I get familiar with the representative and don't have to start over explaining issues each time. The process for ID verification is very simple for our clients, and even when they encounter issues, I can walk them through it over the phone. Compared to the previous process we used, this one is much better. Even if a glitch occurs with CertifID, they sort it out quickly when contacted. It would be great to be able to send wiring instructions either to a phone or an email. You need to have both to be able to send them. And there are a lot of times where we need to rush and send those to the clients because of the due diligence period and when the contract doesn't include all of the clients information we are having to do research before we can send them wiring instructions. I think it would be great if we didn't need both their phone number and their email. If we have both I don't mind including it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use CertifID to securely verify banking information for payoff wires and to confirm a person’s identity. The platform is easy to use, gives me peace of mind, and helps protect against fraud. Being able to send wire instructions securely, verifying payoff wire instructions, confirming customer's wire instructions. So easy and quick to use. Most all mortgage companies are in their database, even ones you wouldn't thing would be. Example: Hard money lenders. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The downside is customers being leery of using. The fact that it has to go to their cell phone in addition to their email. Also, there seems to be some type of glitch where customers have to copy the link and paste it into their URL for it to work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

At times, CertifID can seem like an extra set of hurdles, especially if the customer on the other end isn't very tech savvy. Sometimes it is very difficult to get our buyers/sellers/borrowers to figure out what they need to do once the link is sent to them, often times leading to a rejection of verification. The complaints I hear from our clients range from the verification questions they are asked as they tend to contain very old information to be verified, or the questions do not pertain to them.
