"Real-Time, User-Friendly System That Meets Our Needs"
What do you like best about Casebook?

I like that it is real-time! I like that I am able to enter information in, and it is user-friendly. Staff was able to learn the system quickly and it meets our current needs.I also like that it was easy to implement with the team; there is always customer support there for us. We use the system daily, and it makes case management easy. This system was easy to integrate, as we were previously using multiple spreadsheets and documents with a lot of double-entry of data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Casebook?

There is no recovery for lost data or accidental deletion. I also don't particularly like the reporting (spreadsheets are vital and could be improved). More features would make this beneficial for our agency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Highly Configurable, Needs Improved Onboarding"
What do you like best about Casebook?

I like the ability to define the fields in Casebook. That's huge because it allows us to really configure it to our specific needs. The dynamic pages and fields that can be defined by yes, no, multiple choice, and drop-down options really help when trying to keep track of things like social determinants of health. It also allows us to do statistics and analysis based on what we are learning about our participants. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Casebook?

The biggest thing that Casebook could improve is making the note sections speech-to-text. It would make the ease of use much better because it would be so much easier to speak your notes rather than type them, especially on a computer. Also, the initial setup was tedious, as the import function is really complex. We couldn't import our data smoothly and had to manually enter basic participant info. Even a year later we are still entering fine details for cases begun before we initiated casebook. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Casebook.... Its a hard Yes for me!"
What do you like best about Casebook?

I really appreciate the layout of Casebook. As well as the simple and seamless flow when inputting information.

I use Casebook every single day at work. One of the best parts of it all is the customer support. I know when they are going to be out of the office, what the hours of operation are, when they are updating the system etc. I feel like I am part of the Casebook family. I get regular emails inviting me to a webinar when a change or an update has been made. Since I started using Casebook about a year and a half ago, it has only gotten better. I had a rocky start, I am not tech savvy, but with the help of customer service as well as sitting in on the webinars, I have it down! I truly feel so confident in my ability to navigate Casebook that I am now training my staff & coworkers in it. I cannot say enough about how smooth the implementation of our transferring to Casebook has been. Integrating Casebook into our program here at Pinnacle Community services has been one of our best decisions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Casebook?

As much as I do rave about Casebook and how much it has helped our program at Pinnacle, there are a few things that I would like to see change. When I make a person profile in Casebook everyone else in our program can see and use that same profile which is great. But when it comes to doing an intake profile on that same person nobody else can see it. Everyone in the same program has to make their own intake profile on that same person. I think it wastes time, and it should be optional if you want to make it private. The case is private and in my opinion that is enough. Each case on someone's intake should be kept private but as far as the person and the intake profile, it would be much easier and save a lot of time if those were open to all staff in the same program. The fact that everyone has to make their own case and you can't see anyone else's cases. So, even though we work with the same clients and we are in the same office, we must make our own case and cannot see or add to, each other's. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Two Years In: Casebook Is a Game-Changer for Client Management"

Casebook does it all — Notes, data, reports, and more. Casebook makes data collection and reporting effortless - something we depend on as a non-profit. We're able to customize the templates in order to include the info we need to collect, which means that our client notes and data are more consistent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Casebook has been an incredible tool for our organization, used daily. Casebook helps us stay organized and effectively support the youth in our community. Our staff can easily access past meeting notes, ensuring each young person in our program receives the resources and support they need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The interface can occasionally be slow or a bit tricky to navigate, but the Casebook team is responsive and genuinely values our feedback. They take our suggestions and concerns seriously and are committed to improving the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A catch-all system that keeps us organized and compliant."
What do you like best about Casebook?

Casebook is a true catch-all for managing multiple programs, contracts, and funder requirements in one place. We use it daily and currently host over 4,000 client records. Integration was straightforward, but it works best when led by a dedicated data staff member in your agency, which is something we did not have at the time. I like that we can customize services to match each grant's needs. Having case notes, services, and documents together makes audits and monitoring visits much easier. Role-based access keeps client information secure while allowing staff to do their work. The customer support is excellent, and our Customer Success Manager, Nicole Stabler, has been a key partner in helping us think through how we store and build our data systems. Her guidance has made a real difference in how we organize our workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Casebook?

It takes time to set up, and you need someone dedicated to managing the system and making updates. The data and reporting features work well for standard needs, but pulling more complex or specialized information can take extra effort. Some reports require exporting and working outside the system to get the full picture. Navigation can also take a few extra clicks when looking up older records. "Surpassed Expectations"
What do you like best about Casebook?

Casebook has exceeded our expectations from the start. The purchasing and implementation process was seamless, with exceptional support throughout. Its documentation tools and easy data access have been incredibly valuable—especially for quick turnaround needs. Casebook has played a vital role in developing our Community Advocate Program, and the platform has streamlined my workflow through accurate documentation, timely reminders, and reliable compliance tracking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Casebook?

Casebook’s high level of customization is both a strength and a challenge—it offers great flexibility, but the many detailed decisions needed to fully build out the program can feel overwhelming. We experienced some calendar integration issues early on, but the support team was quick and responsive in resolving them. We’re also looking forward to Casebook completing the requirements to become CJIS compliant. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Casebook makes my staffs job easier!"
What do you like best about Casebook?

The best thing about Casebook is having everything at our fingertips. It’s so easy to add another case note and edit anything.

It’s also very customizable depending on your org. The reporting features have made my monthly and quarterly tasks so much quicker. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Casebook?

If I had to pick something, there are a few places it feels redundant as far as entering dates. But that’s truly not that bad. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
