**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 01, 2023

**What do you like best about Casebook?**

The customer service is great! They are very quick to answer emails and help at the help desk. We also love that they met with us to find out what other features would be helpful for our organization.

**What do you dislike about Casebook?**

We still do not know how to use all of the options, reports, and other features. We needed to do a more extensive training when we signed on, but I believe that was our company's fault as we were in the middle of a huge staffing transition.

**What problems is Casebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Casebook has allowed us to log travel, case management, and class hours. This has solved the problem of providing information for our granting organizations.

**Reviewed Date:** January 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Casebook?**

The help team is extremely reliable. They're always responsive and take our feedback seriously.

**What do you dislike about Casebook?**

Casebook is not as built out as other software is. From the outside it looks a bit like they're developing the software as it's being released.

**What problems is Casebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Casebook is the only software that our small organization could afford, and having any software has changed our capacity and organization significantly.

**Official Response from Nicole Reece:**

> We're thrilled to hear that you find our help team reliable and responsive. We hope that you've been able to see some useful improvements in our iterative expansion of the platform, which is our intention to listen to our customers and have them guide our roadmap. Your feedback is important to us and we're constantly working to improve our software based on customer input.

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2022

**What do you like best about Casebook?**

Casebook is user-friendly, it can keep great records, and key components needed for documentation

**Recommendations to others considering Casebook:**

I feel that Casebook can be an amazing program but that there are a lot of bugs that need to be worked out.

**What problems is Casebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not used for resolving business problems, it is for electronic records and data tracking. don't measure productivity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristen G. | Family and Community Support Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2022

**What do you like best about Casebook?**

Their staff has been so helpful. Casebook wants to know what we think of their product and listen to our suggestions. And have implemented most of them in under six months. If we have had a concern or an outage they work very quickly to address it.

**What do you dislike about Casebook?**

At this time, I haven't found anything I dislike. Casebook has always been so helpful.

**Recommendations to others considering Casebook:**

Their onboarding took time, but they were helpful and met with me several times to work out our issues. They were super helpful in getting our old data in their system as best as possible.

**What problems is Casebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We work with families, and we needed a system to store people and notes. We can pull great reports much more quickly and easily than our last program. My employees love the ease of use of Casebook as well.

  ### 11. Casebook is a game changer!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shannon W. | Executive Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2022

**What do you like best about Casebook?**

Not only is customer service incredible from beginning to end but the ability to run clear and concise data reports for grant writing has been so helpful!

**What do you dislike about Casebook?**

A lot of drop-down menus can make it a little more time-consuming but for the sake of report running is worth the added time.

**Recommendations to others considering Casebook:**

Take your time and utilize all the incredible features offered.

**What problems is Casebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to store all client data, emails are linked to our cases and we are easily able to access information for 3rd party requests.

  ### 12. Easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vanessa S. | Counselor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2022

**What do you like best about Casebook?**

It's easy to use and set up clients in the system. I figured out how to delete clients myself. I like that I don't have to type case notes. You can set up your the program for your agency's needs. There is a section for each service area I need

**What do you dislike about Casebook?**

I say nothing honestly at this moment. Everything seems to meet my needs. But I can contact Casebook via the help section or email or phone.

**Recommendations to others considering Casebook:**

Research how your organization can benefit most from Casebook. Eliminate paper files and move over to digital case files.

**What problems is Casebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can quickly write general notes, service delivery, and progress notes for clients. Make appointments and upload documents for other professionals to view. It makes me more efficient in documenting.

  ### 13. Very helpful product for our growing organization

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mandi W. | Director of Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2020

**What do you like best about Casebook?**

Team has been easy to work with and is constantly adding new things, looking for feedback from users to improve their product. Implementing this system is going to streamline our processes with potential and new foster families, which will be a big improvement for us in the long run.

**What do you dislike about Casebook?**

There's been some growing pains in being an early adopter of Casebook, but overall it's been a good experience. The team has been very responsive and has worked to get to know us and figure out how they can address the issues we're having and add features that would be helpful for our organization.

**What problems is Casebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a way to easily track where families are in the foster parent certification process. We're not a licensed child placing agency, but this product would definitely work in that capacity as well. It's helping us get a better idea about where families are in the process, how long it's taking them to complete each step, and how we can support them as they move forward.

**Official Response from Brian Johnson:**

> Thanks for the review, Mandi! We appreciate your team's participation in the early adopter program and look forward to supporting your team as you streamline your foster family recruiting and onboarding process.

  ### 14. Casebook Is Amazing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Warren C. R. | RPS Counselor , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2021

**What do you like best about Casebook?**

What is most helpful about Casebook is that the Community Culinary School of Charlotte can capture all of our participant's information, from employment history to the medications that they are on. With Casebook, we can track each cohort so that we can follow our participant's successes. One of the essential features of the Community Culinary School of Charlotte is the ability to query information to provide detailed information to our funders. The advantage of using Casebook is that you will capture data on all of your clients smoothly and effectively. Thanks, Casebook, for such amazing software.

**What do you dislike about Casebook?**

There isn't anything that I can think of that I don't like about Casebook. Ashley McCullough has been the best at ensuring that I understand everything about Casebook that I need to succeed.

**What problems is Casebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problems that I can solve with Casebook are excellent. From tracking participants' employment history, career coaching sessions, graduation dates, etc.

**Reviewed by:** michael t. | Recovery Coach, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2022

I use CB Engage most often, which allows me to keep track of my client's progress and communicate with other caregivers. Casebook is the only product of it's kind that I have used.

**What do you dislike about Casebook?**

Because I am only using one facet of the casebook, I have not encountered any functions that have been troublesome. I am not sure how to make this product better.

**Recommendations to others considering Casebook:**

IT is a very user-friendly program, which requires only minimal training.

**What problems is Casebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Casebook is allowing me to input client's needs into an easily accessible format while allowing me to make progress notes, as well as general notes of my client's particular needs.

  ### 16. Casebook is fantastic for casemanagement.

I love how I can compile client information into Casebook. It's very user-friendly. The search function for client names, ability to compile case notes, and store information about people.

**What do you dislike about Casebook?**

There's a few dislikes that I have communicated with the Casebook team and they are in the process of making Casebook better with the information I shared. There's just a few bugs and different ways to do things.

**What problems is Casebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My organization moved from physical files to using Casebook. We have digitized information and made it more accessible for our staff and volunteers. It's more convenient to use Casebook.

  ### 17. Best Customer Service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lori M. | Education Program Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

  ### 18. Beyond Satisfied

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2020

**What do you like best about Casebook?**

I like how customizable the platform is. The fact that Casebook staff is patient in teaching you how to navigate the platform and customizing the fields to best suit what your organization needs. The fact that Casebook actively takes notes from their interactions with their customers and takes that feedback to the development team to grow and create a system that meets all possible needs of those who utilize it.

**What do you dislike about Casebook?**

So far, nothing. Honestly. My experience has been exceptional.

**Recommendations to others considering Casebook:**

Communicate openly with your team. Mine is amazing and I value their expertise.

**What problems is Casebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm a startup nonprofit and was looking for a case management software that would help me better manage my clients and their information in a structuredand organized manner

**Official Response from Brian Johnson:**

> Thanks for being a customer! We're happy to have partners like you that help us continue to make Casebook better through honest feedback.

  ### 19. Happy so far

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rhonda V. | Senior Director of Donations Distribution, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 12, 2021

**What do you like best about Casebook?**

I like that I am able to have all our agency information in one place and can track all different types of information. We need to keep track of information such as how many beds are offered at a location and all of the different locations that an agency has.

**What do you dislike about Casebook?**

I wish we were able to integrate it into our inventory system. I also wish that we could utilize the application, but the account creation is focused on questions for an individual, and we only track organization information so it causes a little confusion for our clients.

**What problems is Casebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Casebook allows me to track all of our organization's programs and locations that we serve through our program. We have never had a system that allowed us to track this information efficiently.

  ### 20. Robust platform. Great customer support.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melissa F. | Director of Senior Adult Counseling, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Casebook?**

Casebook can do a lot of things (more than I need) but I particularly like the many options for doing reports and the help I've received customizing them.

**What do you dislike about Casebook?**

I don't like having to create both a "case" and a "person" to add a client into the system. I can see how this would fit some programs, but it is just more work for how I use the system.

**What problems is Casebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can track more detailed data and get more reliable output of data.

  ### 21. Casebooks is great for keeping stats that are needs ofter.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** KAthey H. | S, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2021

**What do you like best about Casebook?**

Easy access to caseload and stats that are needed for record keeping.

**What do you dislike about Casebook?**

My least favorite thing is sometimes signing in gets a little confusing.

**Recommendations to others considering Casebook:**

I find it easy to use and well worth the effort.

**What problems is Casebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have started using casebooks to track clients and stats better. The real benefit for us is remote access with multiple users.

  ### 22. We have had a wonderful experience in our transition to Casebook!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Civic & Social Organization | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 21, 2020

**What do you like best about Casebook?**

The number one reason we chose to switch to Casebook was the excellent technical and customer service support.

**What do you dislike about Casebook?**

The only downside to Casebook is that they aren't able to meet all of our grant reporting needs at this time. However, they are striving to remedy that in the months to come!

**Recommendations to others considering Casebook:**

I recommend that you utilize the customer service aspect of Casebook to get the most out of your experience.

**What problems is Casebook solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using Casebook as our case management tool is freeing up a ton of time for our victim advocates. They are able to spend more time in contact with clients due to their time being freed up.
