This app saves me so much time and frustration when scheduling candidates for interviews. I can also use the app directly from my phone while I’m on the go, which makes life so much easier.

**What do you like best about Calendly?**

I really like the slot feature in Calendly, which is super helpful. Breaking it down into multiple slots throughout the day allows my clients to know exactly what times are available, bringing certainty to scheduling meetings. Also, setting up Calendly was incredibly easy, much simpler than I expected, and the available guides were very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Calendly?**

I did face some difficulty finding the time zone configurator, which was relatively little bit harder to find than it should have been. And also, sometimes meetings get double booked on my calendar, so I'm not sure how that happens.

**What problems is Calendly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Calendly helps with the configuration of different time zones and provides a slot feature that's very helpful for letting clients know about my availability.

**What do you like best about Calendly?**

We use this everyday. Its easy to use/set up. I like that I can integrate it into Greenhouse for easy scheduling. I also like that I can separate the type of meetings that I have. For example, some of my interviews are video screens and some are over the phone. I also like that I can customize my interviews for each meeting type.

**What do you dislike about Calendly?**

The part that I absolutely dislike is that when you send out the link, they aren't single use. I'd prefer to not have to send out an individual link every time I want it to be single use. For example, I send out multiple links, one for each candidate. They should only be able to use that link once. I mentioned this to a rep once and they said they'd tell the higher ups about my feedback.

**What problems is Calendly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its helping me with scheduling different interviews. I can also schedule using my team members links as well. Its very user-friendly.

There are options being offered that I don't need and already have (AI etc). They seem redundant to existing apps.

**What do you like best about Calendly?**

What I like best about Calendly is how seamlessly it streamlines scheduling. It eliminates the endless back-and-forth emails by allowing clients and team members to book time based on real-time availability. The integration with Google Calendar, Zoom, and other apps makes coordination effortless.

From an operations standpoint, it helps me stay organized, reduces no-shows through automatic reminders, and presents a professional image to clients. They appreciate how easy it is to schedule with me. The user interface is clean, intuitive, and takes maybe five minutes to master. It’s one of those tools that pays for itself in time saved.

**What do you dislike about Calendly?**

While Calendly is a great tool overall, what I dislike most is that some of its more advanced features, like text reminders, group scheduling, and integrations with CRMs or payment systems, are locked behind higher-tier plans. It can get pricey if you’re managing multiple users or need branding customization.

Another minor frustration is when clients don’t confirm time zones correctly, even though Calendly adjusts automatically, it can still create confusion for people who aren’t tech-savvy. I’d also like to see more flexibility in customizing notifications and follow-up sequences.

Overall, though, those are small drawbacks compared to the convenience it provides, but for small business owners or independent reps, the pricing tiers can sting a bit.

**What problems is Calendly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Calendly solves the constant back-and-forth chaos of scheduling meetings, plain and simple. Before using it, I was wasting hours each week trying to find times that worked for clients, recruits, and team members. Now, everything runs on autopilot. People can instantly see my availability, book a time that works for them, and automatically get a Zoom link and reminder, all without me lifting a finger.

For my business, this means more productivity, fewer no-shows, and a much smoother client experience. It keeps me looking professional and organized, which matters a lot when you’re meeting with families, training new reps, or running interviews.

Calendly helps me focus on meaningful conversations instead of admin work, and that’s been a game-changer for time management and growth. It’s like having a personal assistant that never sleeps.

I like Calendly's reminder feature. After booking a call, we get automatic reminders. It really stands out for me.

**What do you dislike about Calendly?**

I don't like the branding in the free version of Calendly. It shows Calendly branding in the calendar, and I think that could be changed. Also, the initial setup was not easy because when asking for a phone number to allow someone to book a call, there isn't a direct feature to get the phone number. There should be another option to add one more form feature, which makes it a bit complex.

Calendly helped me to arrange my calendar, and send reminders automatically when someone books a call. It keeps everything organized.

Most features require payment. While the settings do let us adjust the time frames, it’s still too expensive.

In the past, I had no idea how to manage and schedule appointments with my clients, but this has allowed me to set everything up the way I prefer. I was struggling with how not to double-book appointments, and Calendly has really helped. It reminds clients when their appointment is coming up within the time frames I choose before the appointment, and it also lets me cancel or adjust appointments if I accidentally double-book someone.

the ability to create joint calendars internally and view times that we are both available in one place
i also work with people across multiple time zones and figuring out joint calendars with calendly makes things much easier than doing the math myself

if i dont have an actual meeting blocked of course it will show me as available so i do need to be diligent about blocking work hours and blocks for personal time to make sure clients dont book in those spaces but i do understand there isnt much calendly can do about this

sometimes i need to book a call with a client and members from another department that work on a different time zone
we can send the client a calendly link instead of listing out all our of matching availability so this saves me tons of time and manual effort

I can send invitations to our clients very easily with just one click. No matter which timezone they are in. One can use it every day without any hassle. And integration with Google Calendar also makes it very easy to implement.

Restrictions on the use after the trial period are over. It almost makes it of no use. It shouldnot come with this much restrictions.

**What do you like best about Calendly?**

I work in Customer Success, and I regularly set up meetings with our customers. Calendly has made this super easy; I just share my link, and customers can pick a time that works for them. Since it’s connected to my Outlook calendar, I don’t have to worry about double bookings. 

I also like that it has different options like Teams, Zoom, and more. It’s packed with useful features like setting up one-time meetings, choosing a custom date range, adding questions etc.

**What do you dislike about Calendly?**

One thing I’d like to see improved is the ability to delete a link after I’ve shared it with a customer; sometimes plans change, and it would be helpful to delete shared link. Also, the Analytics section could be better - I’d love to see more reports.

**What problems is Calendly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scheduling regular meetings with customer easily without worrying too much about my calendar.

Very easy to book meetings and reschedule them accordingly . No need of using Google calendar time and again. This has helped me schedule meetings with my clients. I get easy remainders before meet as well.

The only thing I dislike is example., its 9 :00 Am , and i want to book a slot , but in the calendly it will either show from 10 / 10:30 , the 1 hour which im free shows as occupied

Calendly is helping me save time, by easy scheduling of meetings and if I share link , my clients can also book meeting , which saves some time for me. It helps in giving remainders before the meet , which is quite helpful.

Calendly provides a robust tool to allow me to set up different types of meetings with my students to schedule sessions with me and automatically add all meetings to my calendar. There are many ways to personalize the display of each meeting to match the type of meeting.

For pure self-service booking on less frequently used calendars, the built-in tools now available from Microsoft and Google are sufficient.

Appointment scheduling potentially becomes easier - however, depending on the customer group, self-service can be off-putting, and manually searching for and suggesting appointments is better.

I love that I can see my teams schedule, easily schedule meetings with clients and create the different meeting types I need. 

**What do you dislike about Calendly?**

I still wish I could limit the OVERALL meetings scheduled per day, not just by type. 

**What problems is Calendly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I do about 30 zoom meetings a week with clients. With Calendly I can easily let people choose a time to meet based on my availibility. Calendly automatically sends calendar invites for me and reminders, which leads to less no show meetings.

like that Calendly saves me time by eliminating the back-and-forth of scheduling and gives a professional touch with its clean booking pages. An upside is how easy it is to customize my availability, create different types of meetings, and have everything sync automatically with my calendar and video platforms. The automated reminders and confirmations are also really helpful for keeping myself organized.

**What do you dislike about Calendly?**

Sometimes I feel that sending a Calendly link can come across as a little impersonal if there isn’t any context. I also find that many of the best features, like multiple event types and advanced integrations, are locked behind the paid plan, so I'm unable to use it to its full potential. Setting up customization and workflows can feel a bit clunky at first, and while it usually handles time zones well, there can still be occasional confusion. The free plan is also quite limited.

For me, Calendly solves the problem of back-and-forth scheduling by allowing others to book time directly based on my availability, which saves me a lot of time and reduces email clutter or scheduling mishaps. It also eliminates double-bookings since it syncs automatically with my calendar, and the reminders help cut down on no-shows. I feel as though the biggest benefit is efficiency. I can focus on the actual meeting or task at hand instead of wasting energy coordinating schedules.

Huge time saver: No more endless back-and-forth emails trying to find a good meeting time. I just share my link, and clients pick a slot—boom, it’s scheduled and added to my calendar instantly. That’s a productivity win any day. I love being able to connect several calendars (Google, Outlook, etc.) and automatically embed Zoom links. It keeps everything synced and conflict-free. Time-zone detection, buffer windows between meetings, automated reminders — it all combines to keep my day on track and noise-free. I have not had the need to call customer support but I have heard it was top tier. Also very easy to implement with my other tech platforms.

**What do you dislike about Calendly?**

Occasionally, the mobile app freezes or crashes. Reinstalling or restarting works, but it’s a pain when you’re trying to set up on the go. I have also had a few reminders land in my spam folder.

The only recommendation that would be beneficial is to allow flexibility in asking questions based on previous answers and not just displaying all the questions we can ask in one page. This would enable us to fully utilize the ten question limit and allow our team to manage bookings more strategically.

- We can manage team interview and recruiter availability without being tied to a specific calendar. One main virtual calendar tracks all recruiters' availability for time slots. 
- We can adjust a recruiter's availability for interviews at any time, without needing permission or waiting for their calendars to be modified. 
- Recruiters can be added or removed from calendars as needed to adjust focus and priority based on business requirements. 
- We also have the ability to determine how interviews are distributed among recruiters. Here are some options: 

1. Equal Distribution of Interviews  
To ensure interviews are assigned equally, Calendly will track the number of interviews assigned to each recruiter. If a recruiter has too many interviews, their availability will be hidden from the scheduling page until other recruiters catch up.

In google calendar for example, you can block time slots as "busy" so that people know you are not available at that time. In Calendly, you have to configure the time frames you won't be receiving any bookings.

I don't necessarily need to have a previous conversation with an individual for them to book an appointment with me or my company. If I provide a Calendly link, they can directly book an appointment in the time frames that I have made available and then, I receive those invites i my email but also, I can integrate them to other calendar apps I use, such as Google Calendar for example.

Calendly is extremely useful for account management and client coordination. Sharing meeting links with the clients is simple, which removes back-and-forth emails that we used for scheduling. Customer support became easy and can be used for all emails, adding links in signatures daily.

Limited advanced features are available on higher plans, and reporting can be more detailed.

Calendars suck.  They have forever, they are not well interoperable and it is hard to tell people that you have 4 different calendars that to schedule time with you requires looking at all of them.  But Calendly pulls all those together and tells people when they can actually reach you, and that is such an obviously desirable feature it is shocking it took so long for Calendly to come along and solve the problem.

Calendly is part of the way to solving my calendaring problems.  I wish that it pulled together information from the different calendars and provided 1 single easy to use aggregated calendar.  What it does is great, but it doesn't solve all the calendar problems yet.

Calendly agreegates all my calendars so it is possible to schedule time with me even though I have 4 calendars I use.

I love the ease of use, hands down. It’s clean, intuitive, and doesn’t make you jump through hoops just to set up a simple meeting link. The automation and workflows are like my backend assistant. It has really helped me schedule so many things, and make setting up meetings with people much simpler.

**What do you dislike about Calendly?**

The main opportunity is to easily create (1) off meetings outside the set schedule. Right now, this requires multiple steps.

**What problems is Calendly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Calendly primarily for two things: booking guests for my podcast, Deep Shallow Dive, and setting up 30-minute intro calls. For the podcast, it saves me from the endless back-and-forth that used to come with coordinating interviews. I just send the link, they pick a time, and it’s locked in. For intro calls—whether it's business development, networking, or vetting new opportunities—it makes the process frictionless and keeps my calendar sane.
