"Up your Social Media Automation with Buffer"
What do you like best about Buffer?

I am a very busy person holding down a myriad of jobs, including upholding my social media presence for my coaching business. But I don't always have full access (or the time to be honest) to make posts during optimal peak points for my particular audience. Enter Buffer. Buffer has helped me be in 2 places at once, where I can schedule my posts ahead of time, schedule them when I believe my target audience will see them, and have it effectively post on my behalf even while I am busy doing something else. Plus, the feedback analysis on how popular my posts were and ideal times to post have been very insightful to help me reach more people. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Buffer?

I am a fan of free services, and although Buffer is by far my favorite auto-scheduling software, I can only link up at most 3 social media accounts before I need to pay for the full suscription service. Also, I do not necessarily like that I cannot schedule posts to a Facebook page via my mobile device. That does put a bit of a damper on my on-the-go lifestyle. What do you dislike about Buffer?

The iOS app and extensions can take a little time to load the data to share posts etc.. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Makes life so much easier!"
What do you like best about Buffer?

Buffer is an absolute necessity in our social media marketing strategy. The ability to mass schedule tweets and retweets is a gamechanger. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Buffer?

I think the Content Inbox could use some refining (i.e. sorting by topic rather than just publication). I also wish Buffer would warn you ahead of time if an image was too large (instead of blocking a tweet from being pushed out). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Buffer?

"Buffer is more than it seems and then some!"
What do you like best about Buffer?

Buffer is used for content curation and scheduling posts for social media. The chrome extension makes the ability to find quality content very easy to share. As you browse the internet and find an interesting read or graphic you simply buffer it and your post is scheduled.

However, Buffer is so much more than that. Yes you can schedule posts to go out at different times and check your feeds to see optimal times to share etc. Yes you can stock up on the posts and only send a few out a day. But the real magic that I found beyond the typical use of Buffer is scheduled advertising. I do a lot of presenting across the nation and when I am in the middle of a conference I don't have the time to post to my social media. Before I leave for my conference I schedule several posts with the presentation information in regards of where to find me etc. I then add the conference hashtag and schedule for a few days before the conference, a few days during the conference and then a thank you for after the conference. It works like a charm and I get a lot of likes and follows because of it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Buffer?

Buffer used to have the ability to attach RSS feeds and then choose content right from the buffer app. I miss that feature. I also am not a real fan of the mobile version of Buffer. I do 99% of Buffer work on my laptop or desktop. The app is a little dull and not very user friendly. I also wish they had not done away with a separate Buffer app that shared great content that you could add to your scheduled posts with just the swipe of the article left or right. I understand that Buffer is not a content curation tool as much as a scheduling tool, but those features were nice.

Also the instagram section does not work very well. you can not set articles to run without having original graphics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Not for me"
What do you like best about Buffer?

My favorite thing about buffer is you can schedule posts in advance and Buffer automatically shortens links. Buffer lets you set up a daily posting schedule for when you want your tweets to go out to encourage consistency. For example, you can set it to automatically schedule your tweets at 7 a.m., 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 2 p.m. on the weekends during Saturday and Sunday. If you want to send a tweet at a custom time instead, that’s always an option as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Buffer?

Our account only allowed us to schedule up to 10 posts at a time. I had to use word documents to store social content which pretty much defeats the purpose of using a social media tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"I enjoy the simplicity "
What do you like best about Buffer?

The whole simplistic take on Social media marketing and scheduling that Buffer aides with is incredible. You don't have to physically send out tweets and just queue them up. I still haven't decided if I like this best but it's one of my fav marketing tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Buffer?

The limited free features are bummer but I understand they must make money. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
