"Strong personalization and high-volume sending, but still can be improved"
4/5
What do you like best about Brevo?

Personalization (email and mobile) is essential for us, and Brevo makes it easy to customize templates so they match our platform’s look and feel and stay compliant with our design system.

Given our customer volume, high-volume email sending is also a must and Brevo fits that need. Brevo’s features really help our communications team do a better job, and it’s clearly a reference point when it comes to campaign management.

We also use transactional emails by API to match the user experience and behaviour, which helps deliver the right message at the right time, to the right people. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Brevo?

The basic setup is plug and play, but some configuration can be frustrating for business profil. Also, designers have to switch to code mode to reach the good design level. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good for email campaigns, but pricing gets restrictive fast"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Brevo?

I mainly use it for email campaigns and it does the job well. Setting things up wasn't a hassle, and it handles some of the general marketing side too, not just email. For what I needed day to day, it worked without much of a learning curve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Brevo?

The free plan gives you very little to work with, so you hit its limits pretty fast. Once you upgrade, the monthly cost jumps up more than I expected, and even then, each paid tier has its own restrictions. So you're never really free of limitations, you just get slightly fewer of them the more you pay. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Brevo Makes Email Marketing Plug-and-Play, with Fast Performance Insights"
5/5
What do you like best about Brevo?

I use Brevo email marketing because it's very simple to understand, like a plug-and-play. I was new to email marketing, couldn't use other platforms, but when I signed up, it was "Sendinblue." I found it very easy to understand and use.

Since I have been using them without having any need for another platform. The delivery is quick; once I send an email, I get to know in the next minute the click rate, the open rate, and the performance of my email.

It helps me to know which email is performing better. And the type of content my audience prefer. This way I have been growing my business Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Brevo?

Nothing, it has the best free plan that allows me to send 300 emails every day. Other platforms allow only 250. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Free automated emails and great templates, plus helpful AI subject line suggestions"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Brevo?

I find it extremely useful to be able to send, using a completely free account with no trial, automated emails to our drivers informing them relevant information when needed. I also enjoy the premade templates which allow your emails to look extremely beautiful and professional. Aura has helped me with using engaging subjects for my Email Subject Lines, and it can recommend when to send the emails in order to maximize reach. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Brevo?

To be honest, the majority of the features associated with Brevo are not frustrating at all. I picked GDPR Compliance because in general, GDPR Compliance is extremely frustrating and Brevo, although it is a great tool, it does not remove that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Email Campaigns with Minor Billing Hiccups"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Brevo?

I like how straightforward Brevo Marketing Platform makes managing email campaigns. I can easily create a professional-looking email, choose the right audience, schedule it, and review the results, all without having to switch between different tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Brevo?

One thing I don't particularly like is the process of having to buy additional credits when I need to send out campaigns. It can feel like an extra step, especially when I'm ready to send a time-sensitive communication and then realize I need to check or purchase more credits first. I'd like the credit purchasing process to feel more integrated into the campaign workflow. At the moment, having to stop and purchase additional credits before sending can be a bit inconvenient, particularly when I'm working on a campaign with a deadline. "Brevo made multichannel campaigns and automation much more efficient"
4/5
What do you like best about Brevo?

I like that I can manage email, SMS, WhatsApp and other campaigns all from one place instead of using separate platforms. It saved us time, made campaign management more efficient, and gave us a clearer view of how our marketing was performing across different channels. The automation workflows consistently helped us engage people at the right time based on their actions and behaviour, reducing the need for manual follow-up and making communications feel more relevant and timely. Segmentation and personalisation also helped us send more targeted messages to different audience groups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Brevo?

There isn't much to dislike overall, but some parts of the interface can feel slightly less intuitive when you're working with more complex automations or segmentation. Once you're familiar with the platform it's manageable, but there is a bit of a learning curve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Strong for high-volume campaigns and A/B testing, but reporting and UI feel clunky"
4/5
What do you like best about Brevo?

We do big email marketing campaigns in the thousands, so being able to do A/B tests on what would be most effective is essential to maximising our revenue. Having email and phone based campaigns in one platform simplified multichannel marketing greatly, since we used to have separate platforms and it’s halved the effort needed. The AI review can also be helpful before sending, with insights on how to better condense emails and improve grammar. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Brevo?

The reports can have glitches that prevent them from being set out as I’d ideally want them to be. I also find it easier to still draft emails in Outlook and copy them in, because the user interface is a bit too clunky to be time efficient. Segmentation/personalization can be limiting in cases where conversions are possible by appealing to people not in the market segment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Strong multichannel planning and previews, but integrations and the editor can be time sinks"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Brevo?

Integration APIs let us connect Brevo to the rest of our stack so lists, events, and campaign data stay in sync without manual exports. Social Media Integration keeps email and social in one place, so we can plan and publish without switching tools. Email and Mobile Preview is what we check before every send, catching layout issues on phone and desktop before they reach customers. The AI writer is also useful for getting past the blank page on things like subject lines, as long as I feed it the offer and audience and then rewrite the final line myself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Brevo?

E-Commerce Integration takes more setup than it should, and product or order data does not always stay in sync, so we end up checking the store before a campaign goes out. Third-party integrations are necessary, but each one has its own mapping and auth steps, and a broken connection is hard to spot until a send fails. Building and personalizing emails works, but the editor gets slow on longer templates, and conditional blocks are fiddly to preview across segments. WhatsApp also took longer because template approval sits outside the campaign flow, so a message can be ready in Brevo and still wait on Meta. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlines email workflows and segmentation, but support and forecasting feel limited"
4/5
What do you like best about Brevo?

I really appreciate how Brevo streamlines repetitive email marketing tasks. Well-organized workflows make campaign management far less time-consuming and easier to stay on top of, and the platform’s lead generation features are valuable for organizing contacts and nurturing prospects through targeted email campaigns. Having contact management connected directly to campaign execution makes it easier to maintain consistent communication without having to juggle multiple tools. Segmentation and personalization made a significant improvement in campaign relevance, and workflows usually reach people at the right time. I also found the AI writing assistance helpful for generating subject-line variations and tightening up messaging quickly, even if I still need to refine it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Brevo?

When I run into specific campaign issues, getting help can sometimes feel slower than I expect. It would be much easier to resolve problems if there were more detailed troubleshooting resources and clearer, step-by-step guidance. I’d also like more flexibility and control when it comes to executing campaigns. Forecasting feels limited, and sentiment analysis could be more actionable, with more context instead of only general sentiment indicators. On the AI side, some suggestions can feel a bit generic and not fully aligned with our brand’s tone, so a human review is still essential. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Does the basics well, runs out on complex workflows"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Brevo?

Having both the CRM and email marketing in one tool is the main thing I’d struggle to replace. We’re a small team with just under 10k contacts, and because contact details and campaign history live in the same place, anyone who opens or clicks has that activity right on their record. That means I’m not exporting lists and importing them into another system every week.

I send a regular newsletter along with promos, and once the welcome and abandoned cart flows are set up, they run on their own. Welcome emails go out instantly after signup and have never caused me any issues. My automated emails also get better open rates than my regular newsletters, which tells me the triggers are reaching people at a better moment than my own schedule does.

Segmentation covers the basics well—location, recent purchases, and whether someone opened the last campaign—and sending to those segments works better than blasting the whole list. The AI writing assistant inside the campaign editor is a small touch, but it saves me from leaving the page when I’m stuck on a subject line. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Brevo?

The automation builder works fine for straightforward flows, but I hit a wall as soon as I need branching. There isn’t really a way to combine conditions cleanly, and there’s no simple option to pull someone out of a flow once they’ve converted. Because of that, I end up building and maintaining two separate workflows instead of a single one. When a workflow doesn’t fire the way I expect, it’s also not clear why, so troubleshooting turns into guesswork. Timing feels like guesswork too: I set the delays myself, but nothing guides me on whether a different interval would work better.

Segmentation has a similar ceiling. The basic filters are there, but once I want something more layered, the setup gets awkward and I end up settling for two rough segments instead of one accurate one.

Another issue is how much is locked behind higher plans. The automation contact limit only lifts on Standard, and adding a second user is priced per seat, which adds up quickly for a small team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
