"Strong cross-channel engagement with great insights and MMS reach"
5/5
What do you like best about Braze?

I love the combination of insight, visibility, and direct customer engagement. Campaign Analysis makes it easier to understand what is actually working, and the Activity Dashboard gives a quick view of customer activity and campaign performance. MMS is especially valuable because it lets us reach customers through a channel they are much more likely to see and engage with. Braze coordinated customer engagement across channels very well, and personalization has felt consistently timely and relevant. The AI-powered decisioning and optimization has been a significant improvement in which message or experience customers receive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Braze?

Braze is powerful, but that also makes it feel more complicated than it needs to be at times. There are a lot of settings and options to work through, and getting campaigns configured exactly the way you want can take some trial and error. I’d like to see a more streamlined interface and simpler setup for users who don’t need all of the advanced functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Client Communication with Braze"
4/5
What do you like best about Braze?

I really appreciate that Braze keeps moving forward by incorporating user feedback into updates. Their support team is also top-notch, always providing thorough answers instead of just sending me links. The Canvas builder and Operator are standout features for me; they allow me to set up detailed journeys with branching logic and real-time decisioning without needing a developer. This self-service capability means I can make live adjustments myself. Having a clear and intuitive Canvas builder also means juniors on my team can use it independently. Overall, Braze serves as a comprehensive platform for all my client lifecycle programs, which is not only efficient but also saves me from jumping between different tools for segmentation, personalization, A/B testing, and reporting. What do you dislike about Braze?

I run into some friction on the technical side with Braze. Convincing clients' developers to keep the SDK current or to avoid renaming custom attributes during sprints is challenging, and that's not really Braze's fault. What I would really appreciate is having a technical squad from Braze to set expectations with the engineers. It would help if the message comes from the vendor, as it carries more weight than mine. Additionally, I'd like to see stronger safeguards around the data layer to flag when a custom attribute or event stops arriving or gets renamed client-side before it disrupts a live journey. Also, better native reporting would be helpful, allowing me to pull cross-channel retention views without having to export data to other analytics tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Centralized Multichannel Marketing Powerhouse"
5/5
What do you like best about Braze?

I use Braze for sending all of our marketing comms like email, SMS, push, website pop-ups, and in-app messages and banners, making it our centralized place for all marketing tasks. I like how flexible it is and how it continuously improves, constantly releasing new features like the context tool, which has allowed our automations to become more powerful. The context tool helps keep data that a customer had when they entered a canvas, making it easier to filter and personalize emails. It also centralizes our different markets into one tool, helping us keep messages on brand. Additionally, switching to Braze was more cost-effective and integrated push notifications, SMS, and email for efficient multichannel marketing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Braze?

I think that how the credits work could be clearer - there's not been much focus on improving that as there's been a lot of updates for AI and other tools like deliverability that make the other experiences easier. SMS can be confusing due to how SMS length isn't easily worked out; this has always been a challenge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful CRM Platform with Great Personalization Capabilities"
5/5
What do you like best about Braze?

I really like how easy it is to connect Braze with all the other tools a business needs. It’s also simple to create canvases and campaigns that feel creative. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Braze?

I think the main challenges are in reporting, troubleshooting, and managing complexity as the number of campaigns, Canvases, segments, markets, and languages grows. It also relies heavily on having a strong data structure and a clean implementation. Overall, the execution capabilities are great, but to get the most out of it, strong governance and good organization are really important. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Platform with Great Support and Continuous Improvements"
5/5
What do you like best about Braze?

I like that they keep improving, listen to customers' feedback for product improvements, customer support is great, and the platform is intuitive and easy to use. Plus - I love Operator (maybe too much) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Braze?

I hate that I need to beg our product team to update the SDK or not break our data - but that isn't Braze's fault. I would love some sort of a task force/"Braze Special Forces Team" to be available to come in a really get our product people onboard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Real-Time, Cross-Channel Orchestration That Shines"
4/5
What do you like best about Braze?

Braze's real-time, cross-channel orchestration is its standout strength. Canvas makes it easy to build journeys across push, email, in-app, SMS, and content cards, with solid branching, experimentation, and personalization (Liquid, Connected Content). Its event-driven architecture and strong SDKs make it a natural fit for mobile-first, customer-engagement use cases, and the segmentation and Currents data streaming make it easy to plug into a broader stack. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Braze?

Cost is the main pain point: pricing scales quickly with data points and message volume, so poorly governed event tracking gets expensive fast. The learning curve is steep for new marketers, and Canvas complexity can spiral without naming conventions and governance. Native analytics and reporting are also limited, so most teams end up integrating to a BI tool or Amplitude for deeper analysis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Leading Customer Engagement Solution"
5/5
What do you like best about Braze?

I find Braze to be the industry leader in customer engagement with all the right tools and an intuitive setup. The growing list of features and use cases it offers is impressive. I appreciate how it allows us to reach our clients and their user base in scalable and creative ways. The platform covers all aspects needed for setting up lifecycle marketing journeys, considering setup, orchestration, and cross-channel messaging. Personalization and the ability to store or ingest a wide range of data with catalogs are particularly valuable features. Cloud data ingestion is becoming increasingly powerful, and Liquid remains a core and effective component of Braze. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Braze?

I think Braze is still growing its list of features for AI, even though it's come a really long way. Some parts could be more automated, and they're slowly working on creating API endpoints which would be helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Exceptional Marketing Automation with Braze"
5/5
What do you like best about Braze?

I really appreciate how user-friendly Braze is. It's intuitive and powerful, allowing us to send complex, personalized outreach quickly. We don't need a Solutions Architect to use SQL and create data extensions like we did with Salesforce Marketing Cloud; marketers can build these themselves instantly in Braze. The canvases are powerful and coordinated, making it easier to apply intention behind our marketing efforts. I also find the robust product enhancement roadmap exciting, with new features regularly appearing. Overall, Braze has significantly improved our ability to build assets at scale and develop segments quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Braze?

There are just minor enhancements I'd like to see with Braze. My biggest ask is for UI improvements to streamline canvas and segment builds rather than deal breakers. Specifically, I'd like the ability to add more than 8 audience paths, to reorder and change audience paths after deployment, and to have a more robust hierarchy for campaigns. Also, I wish for better integration between Figma and Braze, as it would save us a lot of time automating what developers currently have to build from designers' work. The migration from Salesforce Marketing Cloud to Braze was a significant undertaking, taking about six months, although we had support along the way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Braze Makes Building Powerful, Targeted Journeys Incredibly Easy"
5/5
What do you like best about Braze?

It’s incredibly easy to build almost anything you want in Braze. No matter what you come up with, even if there isn’t already a specific tool for it, there’s so much available that you can still find a way to solve it within Braze. Journeys are especially easy to use, and the additional features help ensure you’re marketing to the right people. They also stay ahead of trends, sync easily with AI, and their customer success team is consistently very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Braze?

I wish it was easier to specifically tie an IAM off a push click as the action trigger and also wish there was an ability to have an action path window from IAM clicks and not just email and push clicks in a journey. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
