## BenefitPoint Reviews
  ### 1. Efficient Onboarding, Reliable Platform, and Great Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessica D. | Associate Account Executive, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2026

**What do you like best about BenefitPoint?**

The onboarding process has been efficient and it's easy to reach out to support when needed. I love that it's integrated across our organization and allows us to be on the same page for current account information. I also like that it's so reliable and can handle a large amount of clients with an effective search system. Navigating BenefitPoint is very simple considering how much information the interface holds. It makes it easy to learn and teach new associates as they come on board.

**What do you dislike about BenefitPoint?**

I haven't found the AI tools to be useful up until this point, however I need to spend more time learning how to use them effectively. I don't like when things move around too often.

**What problems is BenefitPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The cohesiveness across the company understanding who our clients are and what benefits they have including what teams service them and who we should reach out to helps us all operate more efficiently. There is significant ROI considering how much it streamlines our processes.

**Official Response from Nate McKissick:**

> Thank you for your review, Jessica! We're thrilled to hear that you find BenefitPoint's onboarding process efficient and that our support team has been helpful. We're happy to be a part of your business and appreciate your feedback!

  ### 2. Useful Database for Clients, Plans, and Rate Information

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan N. | Benefits Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2026

**What do you like best about BenefitPoint?**

My team finds it extremely useful to upload client data directly into the BenefitPoint database instead of having to keep everything in Excel spreadsheets. The ability to download that data later and transform it also helps us make more informed business decisions.

I also really like the renewal and plan management functionality, which makes it easier to stay organized and manage those processes in one place.

**What do you dislike about BenefitPoint?**

It can feel a bit visually outdated, which isn’t the worst thing in the world. Navigation can be cumbersome at times, since certain data can be tucked away, and if you aren’t familiar with the system it can be hard to find what you need. This is especially noticeable when generating reports. Overall, BenefitPoint does not have any major issues.

**What problems is BenefitPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BenefitPoint is allowing us to store detailed client, plan, and rate information in one accessible place. Heavily reducing manual tracking and speadsheet dependency.

**Official Response from Nate McKissick:**

> Thank you for feedback, Ryan. Your input is essential in shaping BenefitPoint! We're glad to hear that you find our product useful for uploading and managing client data. We appreciate your feedback on the renewal and plan management features and will take it into consideration for future updates. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need anything in the future.

  ### 3. BenefitPoint Streamlines Benefits Management with Strong Integrations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Taylor F. | Senior Benefits Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2026

**What do you like best about BenefitPoint?**

BenefitPoint provides a centralized platform for managing benefit plans, client information, and renewal activities, which helps streamline day-to-day operations and improves overall efficiency. The user interface is intuitive and easy to navigate, making it simple to access client data, track tasks, and generate reports without extensive training.

One of the biggest strengths is its integration capabilities, which help reduce manual data entry and improve data consistency across systems. The platform performs reliably even when managing large volumes of client and plan information, allowing teams to work more efficiently during busy renewal periods.

From a business perspective, BenefitPoint delivers strong value by helping standardize processes, improve data accuracy, and increase productivity, ultimately supporting a positive return on investment. The onboarding resources and customer support team are also responsive and knowledgeable, making it easier to resolve issues and adopt new functionality.

Additionally, BenefitPoint continues to enhance its reporting, automation, and intelligence capabilities, providing users with better insights and helping identify opportunities to improve client service and operational effectiveness. Overall, it is a comprehensive benefits administration and CRM solution that supports both daily workflows and long-term business growth.

**What do you dislike about BenefitPoint?**

While BenefitPoint is a powerful platform, there are some areas where the user experience could be improved. The interface can feel dated in certain sections, and some workflows require multiple clicks to complete tasks that could be more streamlined. New users may face a learning curve when navigating the system's extensive features and configuration options.

Integration capabilities are generally strong, but data synchronization and setup can sometimes require additional effort, particularly when working across multiple systems or carriers. Report customization can also be time-consuming, and some users may find that creating highly tailored reports requires significant familiarity with the platform.

Performance is typically reliable, but larger reports or data-intensive processes can occasionally take longer than expected to load or generate. From a pricing perspective, smaller organizations may find the investment substantial, especially if they are not utilizing the full breadth of the platform's capabilities.

Customer support is generally helpful, but resolution times can vary depending on the complexity of the issue. Additionally, while BenefitPoint offers automation and intelligent reporting features, there is room for further advancement in AI-driven insights, predictive analytics, and workflow recommendations that could help users work even more efficiently.

Overall, these challenges are generally outweighed by the platform's robust functionality, but improvements in usability, reporting flexibility, and advanced AI capabilities would further enhance the user experience.

**What problems is BenefitPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BenefitPoint helps solve the challenge of managing large amounts of benefits, client, and policy information across multiple carriers and plans in a single system. By centralizing data, it reduces reliance on spreadsheets, manual tracking, and disconnected processes, which improves data accuracy and helps our team stay organized throughout the policy lifecycle.

The platform streamlines key workflows such as renewals, plan administration, reporting, and client servicing. Its integration capabilities help reduce duplicate data entry and create greater consistency across systems, saving time and minimizing errors. BenefitPoint's performance and scalability allow us to efficiently manage a high volume of clients and benefit plans without sacrificing visibility into important details.

From a business perspective, BenefitPoint improves productivity by standardizing processes, increasing operational efficiency, and providing better reporting and analytics. This helps us make more informed decisions, deliver a higher level of service to clients, and achieve a stronger return on investment through time savings and improved accuracy.

The support resources and onboarding tools have also helped our team adopt the platform effectively and maximize its value. In addition, the platform's automation and evolving intelligence capabilities help identify trends, improve reporting insights, and reduce administrative work, allowing us to focus more on strategic client needs rather than manual data management. Overall, BenefitPoint has helped create a more efficient, organized, and scalable benefits administration process.

  ### 4. Efficient Client Tracking with Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jared D. | Employee Benefits Account Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2026

**What do you like best about BenefitPoint?**

I really appreciate that BenefitPoint connects very well to our other systems like ImageWrite, which streamlines setting up new clients by creating a profile simultaneously. It's nice that it integrates with several other systems we use, which boosts efficiency overall. I also find that BenefitPoint is very easy and intuitive to use, making it simple for me to get started. With our large company, it's helpful that we can view clients in different regions for various purposes, which leverages shared experiences positively, and BenefitPoint effectively supports this need. I would definitely recommend BenefitPoint, giving it a 10 out of 10.

**What do you dislike about BenefitPoint?**

One thing that I find a little bit troubling with BenefitPoint is that it doesn't really add up commissions all that effectively. Sometimes when we try to catalog how much a client brings in in revenue for us every year, the number is just wildly off.

**What problems is BenefitPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use BenefitPoint to track client plans and contributions, keeping everything in one spot. It integrates well with systems like ImageWrite, improving efficiency by streamlining client setup and connecting related documents.

**Official Response from Nate McKissick:**

> Hello, Jared! Thank you for your review of BenefitPoint. We're thrilled that our platform has been intuitive and easy to use for you, and that it works so well for your agency's needs. We genuinely care for our customers and are delighted to know that our dedication shows!

  ### 5. Stellar Performance, Seamless Employee Navigator Integration, and Responsive Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brooke F. | Director of Training, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about BenefitPoint?**

BenefitPoint is most helpful for integrating with Employee Navigator. The support from Vertafore is also very helpful and responsive. I’m genuinely excited about the future of AI and what Vertafore will do with it. Overall, the products' performance is always stellar.

**What do you dislike about BenefitPoint?**

I’ve noticed a lack of product testers from smaller agencies who could help support people who use the product but aren’t part of a larger agency.

**What problems is BenefitPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Plan AI management, AI in general, and integrations with other benefits platforms have been benefiting me and my team by giving us back time. It helps ensure we’re focused on servicing clients, instead of spending hours on renewals and other tasks that should only take minutes.

**Official Response from Nate McKissick:**

> Thank you for your review of BenefitPoint, Brooke! We are pleased to hear that BenefitPoint has been beneficial for your team by saving time and improving client service. We appreciate your review and look forward to continuing our partnership.

  ### 6. Useful Client Snapshots, but Outdated Look and Difficult Navigation

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2026

**What do you like best about BenefitPoint?**

Having all client information in one file or a single access location is helpful. In addition, being able to see a brief snapshot of the client and the related account details right on the front is valuable.

**What do you dislike about BenefitPoint?**

It feels a bit outdated in terms of look and overall feel. Navigation can be challenging when trying to find information or update details, and the general navigation across the system and platform can be difficult at times.

**What problems is BenefitPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BenefitPoint is useful for solving the dilemma of sharing large amounts of very detailed, client-specific data with other internal departments for plan design review, rate review, and similar needs. It provides one succinct system for managing that data, along with the ability to tag and notify others across various categories and/or divisions through the system. It also helps organize those contacts and lets me monitor activity tied to each contact and related request.

**Official Response from Nate McKissick:**

> Thank you for letting us know what you think about BenefitPoint. We understand the importance of a modern interface and will take your input into consideration for future updates. Hearing from customers like you helps us grow and evolve.

  ### 7. BenefitPoint Advocate

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melissa J. | Employee Benefits Department Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2025

**What do you like best about BenefitPoint?**

BenefitPoint has been a perfect tool helping me and my team manage our benefit's administration on a daily basis. I have been a part of multiple demos with other competitors, and this system's capabilities far outweigh the others. It is important to me to be able to manage our clients and track commissions and revenue in one system, as well as integrate with other workplace solutions. It is an easy system to implement and use and helps us maintain a smooth workflow. On the rare occasion we have an issue, they have a great support team that is able to get it resolved efficiently and timely.

**What do you dislike about BenefitPoint?**

The only downside is that we do not hit all of the markers to be able to utilize the benchmarking. That is more on us than the system.

**What problems is BenefitPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BenefitPpoint has helped us with tracking and making sure we are receiving all compensation from our multiple carriers that we work with, as well as managing our time and workflow having everything in one system.

**Official Response from Nate McKissick:**

> Hi, Melissa! Thank you so much for your kind words. We're thrilled to hear that BenefitPoint works so well for your agency. We're happy to be a part of your business and appreciate your feedback!

  ### 8. Benefit Point’s Customization Makes It Our Central Source of Information

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam Y. | Director of Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2026

**What do you like best about BenefitPoint?**

I love the customization of Benefit Point. Our team has taken some time recently to iron out exactly what fields we would like to add that are not standard fields, and those additional data points are making it easier to make BP our central source of information.

**What do you dislike about BenefitPoint?**

So far we love it, but if I had to pick something... I would say I wish every field was customizable. It's 90% customizable to our liking, but there are some additional things we would like to accompany with the standard fields and a different order we would put some questions in.

**What problems is BenefitPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are just starting to scratch the surface of what we are capable of with Benefit Point. We are reframing it to be our central source of information similar to how we use AMS 360 for P&C. We are also going to utilize the API to build out our own AI Assistant to cut down on research time for the team.

**Official Response from Nate McKissick:**

> Hello, Adam. Thanks for your review! It's great to hear that BenefitPoint is helping you streamline your information management. We're excited to hear about your plans to utilize the API and build your own AI Assistant. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need anything in the future!

  ### 9. Benefit Point Needs Better File Organization, Search, and ability to manipulate dashboard.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2026

**What do you like best about BenefitPoint?**

It is helpful in having a quick overview of group policy information as well as group contacts.

**What do you dislike about BenefitPoint?**

There are unfortunately a lot of things I don't like about Benefit Point. It seems there are frequently communication error between BP and AMS 360. The file system is almost non-existent. Well it is non-existent actually. It is just a big bucket of files that you have to try to track down in hopes it fit into one of the limited categories allowed. I keep almost all my files outside of BP so they are easier to find. The search options are limited. Why would I not be able to search by a carrier name? So many times I have needed to look and see what other companies use a particular carrier and not been able to look it up. Also, we need to be able to manipulate the fields on the dashboard to fit our team structure. The notes are not intuitive. you have to go digging for them and so no one keeps them updated. There needs to be a place to keep multiple bits of information such as multiple divisions within a group and document things like that divisions pay frequency, or if the work under a different FEIN, or are located in another state, etc. On the benefit plans, I do appreciate the SBC reader, but it needs to be better about scrubbing the information from the SBC or Summary. Much of the time it just adds paragraphs of information to a cell rather than the specifics. I frequently think I wish we still had the Brokerage Builder platform we used years ago.

**What problems is BenefitPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are a place to store some information. And I know our corporate office uses features of it to estimate revenue pipelines. It is better than not having anything.

**Official Response from Nate McKissick:**

> Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're sorry to hear about the challenges you've faced with file organization, search options, and dashboard customization. Our team is always working on enhancing our software based on user input.

  ### 10. Keep your team on track with Benefit Point

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 08, 2026

**What do you like best about BenefitPoint?**

It is easy to use, it captures all of our data and can we used across our company. I like the renewal calendar to keep me on track. You can make BenefitPoint as complex or simple as you need it to be.

**What do you dislike about BenefitPoint?**

It can be hard to navigate between clients. I wish there was a favorite list since we have thousand and thousands of clients. It would be nice to be able to filter to you or your team. I also had the reporting. It is not easy to use. I also which would could customize it a bit more personally rather than as a company

**What problems is BenefitPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping our team on track as well as our boarder team on track with renewals. It can store information year over year which is helpful. It integrates well Perfect Quote which is really helpful. the system rarely goes down which helps.

**Official Response from Nate McKissick:**

> Thank you for your review of BenefitPoint! We're glad to hear that you find our product easy to use and that it captures all of your data effectively. We value your opinion and appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need anything in the future.

  ### 11. Centralized Client Information Made Easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2026

**What do you like best about BenefitPoint?**

I like how BenefitPoint houses all my client's data in one place, from company profiles to plans offered and managing cases with employees. It's super convenient having all my client's information easily accessible. BenefitPoint is easy to navigate, and I can quickly find the information I need right at my fingertips. I also frequently use the plan details feature, as it provides essential information about health insurance plans, benefits, and renewal dates. The initial setup of BenefitPoint was very easy to get started.

**What do you dislike about BenefitPoint?**

Adding contacts is sometimes difficult, or I forget to hit save and lose work that I have input. When adding a new internal team member, you have to scroll down, find the location, push the arrow to move it over, then save it, and then go back and add the name to the account team.

**What problems is BenefitPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BenefitPoint houses all client data, from company profile to managing cases with employees. It's convenient having all client information in one place and easy to navigate between the needed information.

**Official Response from Nate McKissick:**

> Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're glad to hear that you find BenefitPoint convenient and easy to navigate. We appreciate your feedback about adding contacts, and we will take your input into consideration for future updates. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need anything in the future.

  ### 12. Centralized Benefits Management with Import Limitations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rebecca S.

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2026

**What do you like best about BenefitPoint?**

I like that BenefitPoint provides one place where we can see all the benefits for each of our groups and track who the contacts are. It's just good having one central location for where that information is housed, and multiple people have access to it.

**What do you dislike about BenefitPoint?**

I wish there was just a way to maybe import the information because it's very manual to do all of it if you're updating a bunch of clients at once, especially if a lot of the splits and stuff are the same client to client. I wish I could just import it instead of just having to click through all those prompts even if it's a prefilled option.

**What problems is BenefitPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use BenefitPoint for tracking benefits across companies, applying commissions, and centralizing information in one place, which multiple people can access. It simplifies seeing all benefits and contacts.

**Official Response from Nate McKissick:**

> Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with BenefitPoint, Rebecca! We value your opinion and strive to improve based on your suggestions. Input from customers like you helps drive our software improvements.

  ### 13. A Central Portal That Streamlines Cross-Department Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carina E. | SR Support Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2026

**What do you like best about BenefitPoint?**

It's a central portal for various departments to seamlessly work together to prospect + integrate virtually any LOC for their groups.

**What do you dislike about BenefitPoint?**

The greatest deficit is the amount of times one usually needs to sign in to remain active in the sight which is actually a very minimal issue. The other being the aggressiveness + nitpickiness of the reporting is not very user friendly and requires the user to have many trial and errors that ultimately sometimes don't find the report one is searching for.

**What problems is BenefitPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BenefitPoint is always evolving and their strong partnership with R&R allows us to be at the forefront of that change. Our managers are seeing the impactful changes + onboarding educational enhancements that allow us to better serve our clients + more efficiently hone in on workflows + how BP is helping that process.

**Official Response from Nate McKissick:**

> Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with BenefitPoint, Carina! We're glad to hear that our product is helping streamline collaboration across departments in your business. We appreciate your review and look forward to continuing our partnership.

  ### 14. Organized and User-Friendly, Minor Mid-Year Renewal Challenges

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris H. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2026

**What do you like best about BenefitPoint?**

I find BenefitPoint to be organized and easy to use, which makes managing client benefit policies straightforward. I also like the ability to enter in different benefits, carriers, vendor types, and renewal years. It's very valuable to see when certain coverages started or are ending, and to know what type of coverages are in place.

**What do you dislike about BenefitPoint?**

When we take someone over mid-year and have to do a renew/replace, it's not very clear. It could be explained better on how to renew, replace, or cancel policies if they are mid-year takeovers.

**What problems is BenefitPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use BenefitPoint to enter client benefit policies and track commissions. It keeps all policies organized in one place, tracks commissions, and alerts us if payments are missing from vendors.

**Official Response from Nate McKissick:**

> Hello, Chris! Thank you for your feedback on BenefitPoint. It's our goal to provide an exceptional customer experience, so we're glad to hear you find our product to be user friendly. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need anything in the future.

  ### 15. User-Friendly and Intuitive, but Support Tools Would be Appreciated!

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2026

**What do you like best about BenefitPoint?**

Of all the other CRM programs I have used, Benefit point feels much more user friendly/intuitive albeit in need of some minor tunes and updates to really highlight the ease of access to younger generations.

**What do you dislike about BenefitPoint?**

I haven't had the opportunity to work with integrations, nor do I have access to the pricing side of things; However, I would say that what I dislike most about BenefitPoint is the support. I can of was able to learn through being hands on but it didn't feel like it was super easy to find further help or request further help.

**What problems is BenefitPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Account overview / High-Level Overview of Inforce Plans.

**Official Response from Nate McKissick:**

> Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with BenefitPoint. We're pleased to hear that you find our product user-friendly. We also understand the importance of support tools and will take your input into consideration for future updates. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need anything in the future.

  ### 16. Great Client Tracking and Responsive Support, but Too Many Clicks and an Outdated Feel

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2026

**What do you like best about BenefitPoint?**

Being able to track and store multiple items for a client in their profile. The support team is also open to feedback and does listen to the feedback received.

**What do you dislike about BenefitPoint?**

There are many buttons to click to get one task done which causes a delay. The outlook connector can be finnicky. The system also looks a bit outdated.

**What problems is BenefitPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing outreach from clients and help track their ongoing renewal processes. Also helps us keep track of expected revenue and commissions. We are working to make it a one stop shop for our team to use to reference all the information we have for our client on file.

**Official Response from Nate McKissick:**

> Thank you for taking the time to share your review of BenefitPoint. We appreciate the need for a modern interface and will take your input into consideration for future updates. Our team is always working on enhancing our software based on user feedback.

  ### 17. Improve benefits entry in BenefitPoint.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jose V. | EB Senior Account Representative, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2026

**What do you like best about BenefitPoint?**

Plans screen is very helpful! The rates and commissions screens are also helpful.

**What do you dislike about BenefitPoint?**

Entering the benefits and rates and commissions. It's very cumbersome to enter all the benefits, rates and commissions. It's even harder when the group is Self-Funded and entering the rates and commission on the Medical screen and Stop Loss screens.

**What problems is BenefitPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BenefitPoint holds the information when creating Benefit Guides but is only as accurate as the person inputting the information. I know we have BDET entering Benefit Point know but putting the information in a form is also time consuming and cumbersome. Wish there was an easier way.

**Official Response from Nate McKissick:**

> Thank you for your review of BenefitPoint, Jose! We appreciate your feedback on entering benefits, rates, and commissions and will take your input into consideration for future updates. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need anything in the future.

  ### 18. Seamless Renewals with Clear, Long-Term Client Plan History

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2026

**What do you like best about BenefitPoint?**

BenefitPoint is great for tracking both historical and current data. I love that I can open a client’s profile and see a clear history of their plans going back five years or more. It really helps make renewal preparation seamless.

**What do you dislike about BenefitPoint?**

The user interface feels dated and takes “too many clicks” to complete simple tasks or move between screens. Keeping every plan variation, rate sheet, and eligibility rule perfectly up to date also requires a high volume of administrative data entry.

**What problems is BenefitPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping data easy to access within the system, it’s quick and straightforward to find the necessary information when I need it.

  ### 19. All Client Accounts in One Place—Powerful and Convenient

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luke J. | Insurance Producer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2026

**What do you like best about BenefitPoint?**

I love being able to view all of my client accounts in one system.

**What do you dislike about BenefitPoint?**

Not necessarily anything to dislike, but there are SOOO many features that it could possibly be overwhelming

**What problems is BenefitPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It consolidates all client accounts from everyone on our team into a single system, which helps us streamline pulling data when we need it and access everything in one place.

**Official Response from Nate McKissick:**

> Hello, Luke! Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with BenefitPoint. We appreciate your review and look forward to continuing our partnership. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need anything in the future.

  ### 20. Efficient Data Management with Room for Enhanced Flexibility

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about BenefitPoint?**

I like the ease of finding my clients and having a one-stop shop. It houses all the data for all our clients, making it easy to access and get paid from the carriers. BenefitPoint is essential to our daily work! It's also very easy to set up.

**What do you dislike about BenefitPoint?**

I wish I could easily duplicate all features of another plan, like contributions and benefit details, or change a plan from HMO to PPO without having to delete and restart. The manual entry for every tab is really tiring. I mostly wish I could enter a plan or benefit detail and have it applied across all relevant areas, like setting a 20% coinsurance for all benefits, instead of doing it one by one.

**What problems is BenefitPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find BenefitPoint houses all client data, making it easy to access. However, I wish for easier plan duplication and automation to reduce manual data entry.

**Official Response from Nate McKissick:**

> Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. We understand your frustration with the manual entry for plan details. We will take your feedback into consideration for future updates. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need anything in the future.

  ### 21. BenefitPoint Is User-Friendly and Easy to Train On

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2026

**What do you like best about BenefitPoint?**

I appreciate that BenefitPoint is user-friendly. It’s easy to find what I need using the options available at the top of each page. The learning curve isn’t as steep as with other programs I’ve used in the past, which makes it nice and straightforward to train others on the program.

**What do you dislike about BenefitPoint?**

I’ve found that when I have multiple tabs open in the Splits section, things can get mixed up and it ends up adding the wrong split. That’s my main sore point.

**What problems is BenefitPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I’ve used BenefitPoint exclusively for the past six years, and it has worked well for me. I truly believe it has saved me a lot of time over the years compared with having to track things down in my personal files or on our office’s shared drive.

**Official Response from Nate McKissick:**

> Thanks for your review of BenefitPoint! It's our goal to provide an exceptional user experience, so we're glad to hear you find it easy to use. We're happy to be a part of your business and appreciate your feedback!

  ### 22. Easy-to-Navigate Client Info Hub That Simplifies Onboarding

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kassandra S. | Senior Account Representative, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2026

**What do you like best about BenefitPoint?**

It keeps all important information of clients, such as revenue, contacts, benefits information, and it's especially useful when onboarding a client. Really easy to navigate.

**What do you dislike about BenefitPoint?**

Under Plans, in the carrier vendor selection, not all vendors are always available. Also, changes to BP benefits and premiums don’t integrate into our benchmarking tool right away or consistently throughout the year.

**What problems is BenefitPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s reliable, and the website rarely slows down. I also like being able to make updates to the client’s account in real time.

**Official Response from Nate McKissick:**

> Thank you for your review of BenefitPoint, Kassandra! We're glad to hear that our product is helping you keep important client information organized and easily accessible for onboarding. We're happy to be a part of your business and appreciate your feedback!

  ### 23. Cumbersome Interface, Data Challenges Persist

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt R. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2026

**What do you like best about BenefitPoint?**

We rely on BenefitPoint chiefly as a data store, particularly for rates, contributions, account data, and account demographic data.

**What do you dislike about BenefitPoint?**

We've had a tough time with the continuity at the account management level since we've had multiple executive liaisons or account managers over time. It's been a challenge to maintain a consistent relationship. Plus, the user interface is not great, and it doesn't align well with the detailed data structure we need. We often find ourselves developing workarounds. The data schemas are difficult to work with because they don't help us capture data in a meaningful way. Even with custom fields, we struggle to get the granularity we need. Additionally, the APIs are very limiting, and they don't let us extract all the necessary data in a coherent way.

**What problems is BenefitPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find BenefitPoint serves as our data store, providing rates and account data, though it doesn't easily capture detailed data due to challenging data schemas.

**Official Response from Nate McKissick:**

> Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts, Matt. At Vertafore, we aim to provide the best possible customer experience so we are sorry to hear that you may have experienced otherwise. We take your feedback seriously and use it to make continuous improvements to our products and services. For immediate assistance, please reach out to our support team at 1.800.444.4813, and we'll work to address the situation.

  ### 24. Easy Account Access, but an Outdated Look and Limited Integration.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nick G. | Small Business Unit Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2026

**What do you like best about BenefitPoint?**

All of the information on our accounts is easily accesible.

**What do you dislike about BenefitPoint?**

The system itself looks outdated. It would be better if it integrated with employee navigator

**What problems is BenefitPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It keeps everything in one place rather than having things in two separate systems like we did previously with Gen4

**Official Response from Nate McKissick:**

> Hello, Nick! Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with BenefitPoint. We understand the importance of a modern-looking interface and will take your input into consideration for future updates. We appreciate your feedback and look forward to continuing our partnership.

  ### 25. Super Informational for Clients

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2026

**What do you like best about BenefitPoint?**

it's super informational especially for my clients!

**What do you dislike about BenefitPoint?**

It's a little clunky, have to click around a little bit more than you probably should

**What problems is BenefitPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping me consolidate client information so I can use it at my disposal when I'm generating internal materal

**Official Response from Nate McKissick:**

> Hello, Sam, and thank you for your review of BenefitPoint! We're glad to hear that our product is providing you with valuable client information! We appreciate your feedback and look forward to continuing our partnership.

  ### 26. Centralized Account Details Make Support and New-Hire Onboarding Easy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about BenefitPoint?**

I like having all the important account details stored in my profile; it’s a great resource to refer back to whenever I need them. We integrate this platform with other software and it is very helpful with support and onboarding new hires to help get them up to speed as quickly as possible.

**What do you dislike about BenefitPoint?**

The downside is that it does require manual updates rather than an easy renewal process with automated data updates.

**What problems is BenefitPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BenefitPoint is our home for client info and data. We use it to help with a plan information and benchmarking.

**Official Response from Nate McKissick:**

> Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with BenefitPoint! We're glad to hear that you find it helpful for storing important account details and integrating with other software. We appreciate your review and look forward to continuing our partnership.

  ### 27. Clean UI, Seamless Sync, but Needs Better Tutorials

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dylan A. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2026

**What do you like best about BenefitPoint?**

I like BenefitPoint's clean and pleasant user interface, which makes navigating the system a better experience. I appreciate that it syncs data with our AMS360 software, eliminating the need for double data entry. I also find the single sign-on through Vertafore very helpful as it simplifies managing identities.

**What do you dislike about BenefitPoint?**

As someone who wasn't formally trained on BenefitPoint, I can have a difficult time intuiting how to complete tasks. I frequently have to request help for things I feel I could figure out on my own or with a more robust knowledge base. Much of the knowledge base seems to assume proficiency with BenefitPoint. I could really use some basic tutorials to get me up to speed.

**What problems is BenefitPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use BenefitPoint to organize massive data amounts, its interface is pleasant, syncing with AMS360 saves duplicate inputs, and single sign-on eases identity management.

**Official Response from Nate McKissick:**

> Hi, Dylan! We're delighted that BenefitPoint has met your expectations. We appreciate your feedback on educational resources and will take your input into consideration for future updates. We are happy to be a part of your business, and your satisfaction is our top priority.

  ### 28. Great for Aggregating Client Data and Organizing Our Book of Business

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2026

**What do you like best about BenefitPoint?**

It's a great database to aggregate client data. While additional functionality might be available with other platforms, BP works well and collects the data we need to keep our book of business organized.

**What do you dislike about BenefitPoint?**

It's a little simple compared to some other platforms. Some fields are required that we don't have information to complete.

**What problems is BenefitPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Provides great repository of client data and integrates with our other internal systems to pull client data automatically.

**Official Response from Nate McKissick:**

> We're delighted that BenefitPoint has met your expectations. Your satisfaction is our top priority. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need anything in the future!

  ### 29. Organized Renewals and Integrated Pricing That Perform Well

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2026

**What do you like best about BenefitPoint?**

I like that Benefit Point is organized and highlights when a renewal is coming up. It performs well and incorporates and integrates all pricing.

**What do you dislike about BenefitPoint?**

Sometimes Benefit Point is clunky and hard to manage when there are multiple classes of employees.

**What problems is BenefitPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Benefit Point solves multiple problems, but I especially want to highlight payments and commissions. It saves me time because I don’t have to calculate everything manually.

**Official Response from Nate McKissick:**

> Thank you for your review of BenefitPoint! We're glad to hear that you find our product to be organized and effective for managing renewals and pricing. We're happy to be a part of your business and appreciate your feedback!

  ### 30. Powerful Features Hampered by Complicated UI

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** KelseyMarie W. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2026

**What do you like best about BenefitPoint?**

I like the ability to have marketing groups in BenefitPoint. Since I work a lot with CalPERS, it's an easy way to apply changes across multiple accounts and only have to enter the plan once. With over 100 CalPERS clients, it allows us to enter a plan just one time instead of 100 times, which is incredibly helpful.

**What do you dislike about BenefitPoint?**

BenefitPoint is really non user-friendly. I train new coworkers on it and they complain the most about how confusing it is to set up. It's a really complicated system to request a renewal all around.

**What problems is BenefitPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BenefitPoint helps me manage client plans and renewal requests efficiently, keeps renewals organized, and serves as a great reference source. The marketing groups feature lets me apply plans across multiple accounts, reducing repetitive data entry.

**Official Response from Nate McKissick:**

> Thank you for your feedback, KelseyMarie. We understand the importance of a user-friendly platform and are continuously working to improve our software. Hearing from customers like you helps us grow and evolve, so we thank you for your input!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alisa T. | Account Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2026

**What do you like best about BenefitPoint?**

I am in BenefitPoint daily and I love that I can see Audit points and run reports often.

**What do you dislike about BenefitPoint?**

Sometimes I do feel like things don't always save when I work in it.

**What problems is BenefitPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have had a few amount of times of BenefitPoint being down and unable for me to work in and in those situations, it's resolved quickly.

**Official Response from Nate McKissick:**

> Thank you for your review of BenefitPoint, Alisa! We're glad to hear that you find our product's audit points and reporting features helpful for your daily work. We're happy to be a part of your business and appreciate your feedback!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2017

**What do you like best about BenefitPoint?**

I use BenefitPoint to keep everything in one place so when someone needs information for one of my insurance groups while I'm away, they don't have to search through my files. I like that I can put activities in, which helps me stay on track with my workload. The ability to log activities, input follow-up dates, and deadline dates is amazing. I pretty much live in BenefitPoint, and every day I see what’s still being worked on and what is upcoming. Also, the initial setup was easy.

**What do you dislike about BenefitPoint?**

BenefitPoint can be a little finicky if you try to update or fix policy dates. It’s kind of frustrating.

**What problems is BenefitPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use BenefitPoint to house my insurance groups in one place, simplifying access to information. It helps me stay on track by logging activities and deadlines, crucial in the hectic insurance industry.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2025

**What do you like best about BenefitPoint?**

I like the ease of use with BenefitPoint, especially the ability to add or cancel plans as needed, which saves me time and makes me more efficient. It's great that it captures all data elements easily and in one place. I also found the initial setup to be simple.

**What do you dislike about BenefitPoint?**

I would like BenefitPoint to connect to export RFPs in specific formats. I'd like to be able to customize the output.

**What problems is BenefitPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use BenefitPoint to capture all data elements easily in one place. It simplifies tracking plan benefits, rates, enrollments, and commissions, saving me time and making me more efficient. The ease of use and ability to add or cancel plans as needed are great advantages.

**Official Response from Lisa Landes:**

> Thank you for leaving a comment. Your input is essential in shaping BenefitPoint.

  ### 34. Expanded Reporting Makes Comparing RTM and Broker Data Much Easier

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2026

**What do you like best about BenefitPoint?**

I really like all the different types of reports you can run on the RTM side and the Broker side. They really have added several more reporting options since I have started and it has made things much easier to grab and compare the data.

**What do you dislike about BenefitPoint?**

When looking at the policy plans I wish there was a easier way of getting all the commission postings on the Broker side vs having to go into each plan and pull the postings. If there was a report on the broker side to see that it would be very helpful.

**What problems is BenefitPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am a commissions analyst so this is helping me look at the gaps in the monthly revenue received and posted.

**Official Response from Nate McKissick:**

> Thank you for your review of BenefitPoint! We're glad to hear that you are finding the expanded reporting options helpful. We're grateful for your input and look forward to continuing our partnership.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2026

**What do you like best about BenefitPoint?**

Centralized client and policy data – reduces duplicate entry and gives teams a single source of truth

**What do you dislike about BenefitPoint?**

My biggest frustration with BenefitPoint is that it can be time-consuming to learn and maintain

**What problems is BenefitPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me, the biggest benefit is having a single source of truth for client and plan information. It makes it easier to manage renewals, find information quickly, support clients efficiently, and stay organized throughout the year.

**Official Response from Nate McKissick:**

> Thank you for your review of BenefitPoint. We're glad to hear that you find our product's centralized client and policy data helpful in reducing duplicate entry. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need anything in the future.

  ### 37. BenefitPoint Review

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Whitney B. | Client Success Specialist / Benefits Team Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2026

**What do you like best about BenefitPoint?**

I like that custom fields can be created to help me track important information to my process. I like that it syncs with other agency platforms. I do wish it was more user friendly and that more fields were customized.

**What do you dislike about BenefitPoint?**

I don't care for the documentation feature. If a document was uploaded with an incorrect or not descriptive label, you cannot edit it after its been uploaded.

**What problems is BenefitPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps to track important client data that our team uses.

**Official Response from Nate McKissick:**

> Thanks for your review of BenefitPoint, Whitney. We appreciate your feedback on the documentation feature and will take it into consideration for future updates. We value your opinion and appreciate you taking the time to share your experience!

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2026

**What do you like best about BenefitPoint?**

It's easy to use and navigate through different tabs, fields etc. It's easy to input and store information from financials to logistical etc. It helps me keep track of multiple groups.

**What do you dislike about BenefitPoint?**

Navigating through the two different sides Broker/Admin to pull reporting and then back. Switching back and forth.

**What problems is BenefitPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping track of multiple areas of information in one system. It helps me track with ease.

**Official Response from Nate McKissick:**

> Thank you for your review of BenefitPoint! It's our goal to provide an exceptional customer experience, so we're glad to hear you find it easy to use. We're happy to be a part of your business and appreciate your feedback!

  ### 39. Intuitive Navigation, But Vendor Engagement and Follow-Through Require Significant Improvement

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about BenefitPoint?**

Designed with benefits in mind, so users don’t have to guess where to put things. BP feels intuitive and easy to navigate.

**What do you dislike about BenefitPoint?**

It takes forever to get the vendor engaged when serious issues need to be fixed. They also design features without getting input from everyone in the user group. Too often, they start a design in one release and then sometimes never fully finish it.

**What problems is BenefitPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am the system admin for BenefitPoint. User processes are designed for benefits, so it removes some of the guess work.

**Official Response from Nate McKissick:**

> Thank you for sharing your experience with BenefitPoint. We value your opinion and appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. Input from customers like you helps drive our software improvements.

  ### 40. Easy to Use and Quick to Get Started

**Reviewed by:** Gray K. | Senior Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2026

**What do you like best about BenefitPoint?**

Easy to use and understand. Don't need a lot of background knowledge to get up and running.

**What do you dislike about BenefitPoint?**

Clunky editing for plans, not business insights not as customizable as I'd like, especially when trying to get granular information.

**What problems is BenefitPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Book of business organization, accounting and financial overviews,

**Official Response from Nate McKissick:**

> Thank you for your review of BenefitPoint, Gray! It's our goal to provide an exceptional user experience, so we're glad to hear you find it easy to use. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need anything in the future.

  ### 41. Helpful Admin Tools for Reviewing Statements Before Posting

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2026

**What do you like best about BenefitPoint?**

I'm in accounting so I use the admin features and input statements. It's nice to be able to review the statement and check for obvious errors that might occur before posting so that I can potentially avoid issues with the statement coming over to AMS360.

**What do you dislike about BenefitPoint?**

When I export a statement, it would be nice to be able to export only the selection of items from the drop down versus the entire statement. For example, it would be nice if I have "bonus" selected, and then hit export, I would like it to export only the lines that were input as bonus.

**What problems is BenefitPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The commission statement process is nice and most usually flows well.

**Official Response from Nate McKissick:**

> Thank you for sharing your experience with BenefitPoint. We appreciate your feedback about the export functionality, and we will take it into consideration for future updates. We're happy to be a part of your business and appreciate your input!

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2026

The ability to track "activities". I like that.

**What do you dislike about BenefitPoint?**

The site at times seems to be a little outdated.

**What problems is BenefitPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am unaware of the problems that BenefitPoint is attempting to solve inhouse, but I have faith in their ability to do so. I know without a doubt that the outcome will be stellar.

**Official Response from Nate McKissick:**

> Thank you for your review of BenefitPoint! We value your opinion and strive to improve based on your suggestions. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need anything in the future.

  ### 43. Limited Customization, Great Search Functionality

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carson M. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2026

**What do you like best about BenefitPoint?**

I like BenefitPoint's search functionality for clients and policies. It helps us store all of our data in a central location and tie policies to accounts.

**What do you dislike about BenefitPoint?**

I don't like that it tries to solve for everything and in turn solves for nothing. It allows for too much specific granularity with language and logic that cannot be customized while still not being able to capture some important data. It has too much rigid naming for benefits and rate elements, and the inability to enter enrollment for contribution groups is a huge miss.

**What problems is BenefitPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BenefitPoint allows us to store all of our data in a central location and tie policies to accounts.

**Official Response from Nate McKissick:**

> Thank you for sharing your experience, Carson. Rest assured, we take your feedback seriously and use it to make continuous improvements to our products and services. Should you require immediate assistance, please reach out to our support team at 1.800.444.4813, and we'll work to address the situation.

It keeps all pls and plan info organized in one spot.

**Official Response from Nate McKissick:**

> Thank you for letting us know what you think about BenefitPoint. We appreciate your input and will take it into consideration for future updates. Hearing from customers like you helps us grow and evolve!

**Official Response from Nate McKissick:**

> We're delighted that BenefitPoint has met your expectations. Your satisfaction is our top priority. We appreciate your review and look forward to continuing our partnership.

**What do you like best about BenefitPoint?**

Easy to search groups individually and see history of plans, documents, etc.

**What do you dislike about BenefitPoint?**

When searching through attachments, incredibly frustrating that it's not defaulted to show the most recent. It is annoying to have to filter twice to get the order I want.

**What problems is BenefitPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**
