**What do you like best about Baremetrics?**

Baremetrics has the best support team which is really caring and dedicated. We had a very special case with billing integration which is probably not the case for most of Baremetrics customers, but throughout the year, they built the whole integration which helped us a lot. Plus, they are very open to jump on a call with their developers and troubleshoot the issues on fly. This is extremely helpful.

Doesn't have merging option for the customers

We use Baremetrics mostly for the payment recoveries and it works amazing

I use Baremetrics for an overview of business metrics. It makes our visibility into financial metrics easier to see. I like that it's easy to use and has amazing support. The dashboards and many integrations are particularly valuable, and it was very easy to set up. I'm especially excited to see new features.

**What do you like best about Baremetrics?**

It offers all the reports you want. We're an early stage startup and once connecting Stripe all we wanted and more was just there off the bat.

Example: We did not really know our LTV other than approximately. Now we know that our pricing and sales strategy is moving in the right direction.

Just having these metrics uptodate and correct without any manual spreadsheet work is such a relief and really helps professionalizing our SaaS motions.

Haven't found any. I must say it covers all we need.

Realtime and precise SaaS analytics. Crucial to align our tacticts and strategy on the super short to longer run.

**What do you like best about Baremetrics?**

Baremetrics made it easy for us to handle cancellations & failed charges. It was easy to set up and took little manual work to keep rolling. Working with the Baremetrics team was wonderful and they were supportive the whole way through.

**What do you dislike about Baremetrics?**

We are cancelling only because our payment processor changed. Having more integrations would be great.

**What problems is Baremetrics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We found Baremetrics to help us with our cancellation process, but it really helped us track and retry our failed payments. Using Baremetrics increased our revenue and increased our rate of churn due to payments.

**What do you like best about Baremetrics?**

Setup with Stripe is effortless, and you don't have to do anything to get great charts that show you all the essential SaaS metrics that help you understand what's going on. We use it to track sign ups, churned users, and metrics such as LTV, MRR, ASP, LTV. We also use annotations to keep track of incidents we had, changes we've made in the product and marketing campaigns we run.

**What do you dislike about Baremetrics?**

I would love to have more control over what's considered churn vs. trial (e.g., if someone signed up and churned after a day, one company may count this as churn while for another, this is just a trial that didn't convert).

**What problems is Baremetrics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are tracking our sales and retention with Baremetrics and we didn't have to invest any time in collecting the data and building the charts.

Baremetrics is one of my favourite analytics tools (and I've used a few). Setup is dead simple, the prouct is easy to use and the features work as advertised. I recommend it to most SaaS clients and will keep do so!

**What do you dislike about Baremetrics?**

I think cost is the only con since it can get pricey if you want all the features. But honestly if you want a product that just works out of the box -- can't go wrong with Baremetrics.

**What do you like best about Baremetrics?**

I like the user interface and the fact that many of the key metrics are accessible so quickly in the product with minimal setup. It is really honed in on the financial health of our SaaS product and integrates well with the accounting software we use, xero.com (it works with QB as well). It's a great product to make sense of revenue, profit, churn and more (ARR, MRR, MRR Growth, ARPU, LTV, much much more) at a glance. We like it and our investors like how meaningful data is clearly presented. Support is great. Andrew, our salesperson was great.

**What do you dislike about Baremetrics?**

Can't say that I've run into anything I dislike so far.

**What problems is Baremetrics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to see the heartbeat of our business, at least related to cash in and cash out and, revenue, margin, churn, growth and more.

Being able to see our data in one central source (from the app stores, web purchases, etc.) and have clear visibility into important KPIs like MRR and LTV.

We historically have had issues with our Apple data syncing correctly, but BM has gone above and beyond trying to fix it.

**What do you like best about Baremetrics?**

Our company was really struggling to make sense of our Stripe reports. We tried out a few different analytics services, but nothing seemed to click until we found Baremetrics. I was blown away by not only the useful tools but also the personalized customer support they offered.

I was especially excited to try out Recover once I saw how much money we were losing due to failed payments. And sure enough, after we started using it, we saw a noticeable improvement in our revenue. I can't wait to see how it plays out in the long run.

Baremetrics isn't just about fancy charts—it's like having a reliable partner for uncovering insights and recovering lost revenue.

The developer documentation could use some improvement, and having node packages for advanced integration would be incredibly beneficial.

**What do you like best about Baremetrics?**

We are an ecommerce SaaS company that recently switched from ProfitWell to Baremetrics. We had been using ProfitWell for many years. A few months ago, we changed our pricing model to value-based pricing, utilizing Stripe as our payment processor. We were shocked to discover that ProfitWell doesn't integrate with Stripe's metered usage. This revelation caused us to panic, as it meant our reporting would no longer be accurate. Fortunately, Baremetrics came to the rescue. Jacci from Baremetrics only needed one call to show us around and help us configure the required reports. The rest is history. We look forward to working with Baremetrics for many years to come and building a long-lasting relationship.

**What do you dislike about Baremetrics?**

As of now, there isn't anything we dislike about Baremetrics. In fact, it feels like a massive upgrade compared to the tool we were using previously. The seamless integration with Stripe's metered usage, coupled with the comprehensive reporting capabilities, has significantly enhanced our analytics workflow. We're thoroughly impressed with Baremetrics and haven't encountered any shortcomings thus far.

- We've put in a feature request to make the cancelation flow even more dynamic in order to capture as much relevant information from the user.

Baremetrics gives us insight into our subscription analytics, such as ARR, MRR, trial information, conversion, etc that makes it easier to report internally and to investors. Essentially they are doing everything you woudl expect Stripe to provide out of the box but doesn't..

It's serves as a source of truth for my business metrics. Reporting is consistent and there are a ton of health metrics available automatically.

**What do you dislike about Baremetrics?**

The way it handles trial periods and churns for my Shopify app installs is less helpful than through Stripe, but I realize there are limitations to the Shopify api.

SaaS health metrics combining income from different sources, namely Stripe and Shopify app installs. It makes it easy to run reports for our team and investors and get a higher level view of the health of our business.

I like that it's turnkey and shows a lot of KPIs we, and I expect most SaaS companies want to see, without a lot of setup. It's very easy to implement and integrate with our other products like Stripe. It has a ton of great new features we are just exploring with our team as we use it every day. Worth noting is that their customer support is excellent.

There's nothing I dislike about Baremetrics so far and we've been using it 5-6 months now.

We've been using Baremetrics at Momentum Dashboard, and it has truly been a game-changer for us!

One standout feature for us has been the churn analysis. Identifying patterns and understanding why customers are canceling their Momentum Plus subscription has helped us to make strategic adjustments and enhance our customer retention efforts. The insights we're getting from Baremetrics have contributed to a more proactive and effective approach to customer retention.

**What do you dislike about Baremetrics?**

While it has proven to be a great tool for our business, one area where there could be improvement is in the level of customization for certain reports. While the existing reports are comprehensive, having even more flexibility to tailor reports would be beneficial.

With Baremetrics, we have a centralized platform that provides real-time insights into critical metrics, such as Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) and cancellation rates. This not only saves us time but also empowers us to make data-driven decisions. The cancellation analysis feature has been particularly beneficial in identifying patterns and reasons behind customer cancellations, allowing us to implement proactive measures to enhance customer retention.

**What do you like best about Baremetrics?**

I love getting a quick snapshot of all my key SaaS metrics. It helps me avoid having to put too much weight on a CFO or finance team and instead be self reliant and analyze our revenue and churn data myself. I love the fact that it's all plugged into Shopify + Stripe so it's always up to date with our billing and I love all the helpful tips on how metrics are calculated and how we rank compared to other companies. I've been using this platform for over a year and can't imagine my life without it.

**What do you dislike about Baremetrics?**

I would love to see NDR calculated in the dashboard. I don't love that our free plan is considered a "trial" in Baremetrics and not sure how to fix that. I would love a way to more easily see total $ churn in certain date ranges. I always have to manually add up the full list of customer churn manually.

**What problems is Baremetrics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quick view into key SaaS metrics like revenue, churn, growth, etc. It helps me prevent getting a CFO involved nearly as much as I would have to without them.

Net Revenue Retention (the same thing as Net Dollar Retention)  is one of the next upcoming releases on our product roadmap... please stay tuned and keep an eye on changes in your dashboard. Regarding tracking all users (not just paying users and easily seeing the total dollar lost in your churn dashboard  - we agree and these are on our radar! **What do you like best about Baremetrics?**

Baremetrics is a one-stop shop for the majority of data that I use in reports and for planning purposes. I check it daily (at least). I can easily toggle between MRR data, customer info, and forecasts of my company's financial health using variables I get to set. Baremetrics also has outstanding customer support. The few times we've had issues or questions, they responded quickly and were friendly. I/we truly felt like they cared.

**What do you dislike about Baremetrics?**

The Forecast tool takes some time to get set up, but once it knows what data to include and where to pull it from, it's well worth the effort.

**What problems is Baremetrics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Baremetrics helps me keep track of the real and relative health of our company. The data it collects and the charts it creates make it easy to see how we're doing and what our future holds.

What I love about Baremetrics is the fact that literally anyone can use it and figure it out quick. I tested it with my team and everyone was able to see, learn, and breakdown all of our metrics. Love that it pulls out all the important metrics with just an integration. Revenue information is super easy to consume. We use it in our standups and meetings very frequently. Im now going to explore other features of Baremetrics - the churn management looks really interesting.

It took a day for the integration to get set up - if it was shortened, I think it'd be seamless.

Stripe's revenue charts were not easily consumable - Baremetrics feels like an upgrade to that and their generous startup program has enabled us to discover other valuable features which can probably help us amp up revenue.

Reviewing the dashboard daily - ARR and conversion info is important. At Switcher, Bare is considered good for directional trends, but many find it hard to trust to be exact.

In segments, I want to be able to group different plans to create a conglomerate segment. In trials - why can't I break down conversion by plan or segment? Would like to be able to do reason code analysis for churn.

Our business is subscription-based so e leveraged the tool to break down your revenue into cohorts, showing the impact of different pricing changes and subscription plan adjustments. 

Our main reason for using Baremetrics was its ability to analyze churn. It identified when customers churned but also gives insights into why they are leaving. 

We also used it to set financial goals and forecasts, which helps me plan for the future.

It's been an absolute game-changer for us and helps us routinely to understand what's going on under the hood of our subscriptions. Their customer support is also well trained and responsive, making it a great time saver when you get stuck with something.

Baremetrics grabs our data from three different sources and compiles it into multiple easy to review and manipulate dashboards. They handle calculations for ARR, LTV, etc which makes it easy to provide reporting to our key stakeholders.

**What do you dislike about Baremetrics?**

This is likely an issue with our data sources and not specific to Baremetrics but data for "closed" months can move weeks after a report has been pulled. Given the structure of our offering, Baremetrics default Churn calculation doesn't quite work for us, which requires some manual work to reconcile when populating our monthly close decks.

**What problems is Baremetrics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have three different sources of subscription data. Baremetrics pulls this data in every morning and compiles it into easy to read & manipulate charts & dashboards. It would be infeasible to pull this type or reporting manually everyday with this level of confidence in the data. It is easily saving us at least one full-time role.

I've used Baremetrcs twice now, at my last startup and this new one. It's my go to daily dashboard to quickly see how the business is performing. I like the breakdown of stats by plan especially and the daily notifications.

It's not the cheapest but will save you time in calculating all of the stast yourself.

Our product involves a lot of complex subscriptions given its B2B nature. Baremetrics isn't really built for us - but we keep using it because it's recover tool is helpful!

Recovery emails - sending automated emails to customers when their payment is overdue. It also includes an easy link for them to use to input updated CC info!
