What I like most about the Azure Portal is how it brings the management of all my cloud resources into one central, intuitive interface. It makes deploying, monitoring, and scaling services straightforward, without requiring heavy command-line use. I also appreciate the customizable dashboards and built-in tools—such as monitoring, security insights, and cost analysis—which help streamline my workflows and provide clearer visibility across projects. This is especially valuable when I’m managing more complex cloud environments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One of the main drawbacks of the Microsoft Azure Portal is that it can feel slow and unresponsive, particularly when switching between resource groups or loading more complex dashboards. The interface can also be overwhelming: there are too many nested options, and the layout isn’t always consistent across services, which makes it harder to locate specific settings quickly. On top of that, some advanced configurations are simply easier to handle through the CLI or scripts, which reduces the efficiency of relying on the portal alone.
