What is AppsFlyer, and what problem is it built to solve?

What customer support options does AppsFlyer provide, and how do users find the overall support experience?

AppsFlyer provides support through email/help desk, chat, and phone, with 24/7 live-rep support. The experience can be helpful and knowledgeable, especially during setup and troubleshooting, but response and resolution times are uneven; some users describe slow ticket follow-up or difficulty getting timely help.

What is the experience like for teams switching to AppsFlyer from another tool?

Teams have moved to AppsFlyer from other mobile measurement, attribution, and deep-linking tools, including Adjust, Branch, Singular, Kochava, and Firebase. The move has been driven by needs such as more reliable attribution, stronger fraud detection, richer analytics, and a more unified view across channels. Users also describe the transition as requiring careful setup, with complexity varying by integrations and tracking requirements.

AppsFlyer offers 24 integrations, spanning advertising, analytics, and mobile marketing partners.

  • Analytics and data: Databricks, Google Cloud BigQuery, Microsoft Power BI, Mixpanel, and Tableau.
  • Mobile marketing and partner tools: Braze, CleverTap, MoEngage, RevenueCat, Trackier, and Swaarm.
These connections bring campaign and app performance data together, support postbacks to advertising partners, and can reduce manual work reconciling results across separate tools.

What features or capabilities could make AppsFlyer even more useful?

AppsFlyer could be more useful with simpler workflows and more flexible reporting. Recurring improvement opportunities include:
  • Simpler navigation and onboarding: Make advanced features easier to discover, with clearer in-product guidance for new users.
  • More flexible reporting: Expand dashboard customization, charting, filters, exports, and automated report generation.
  • More unified views: Make it easier to compare web and app activity, platforms, and media-source results in one place.
  • Clearer, faster data workflows: Improve report loading and data updates, and make it easier to investigate discrepancies across systems.

"User-Friendly but Setup and Support Need Improvement"
4/5
What do you like best about AppsFlyer?

I like the AppsFlyer dashboard mostly because it's very user-friendly. It's very easy to track the performance of the app and detect fraudulent installs, which makes it very convenient for me to access. If any clients are sharing fraudulent reports, I can identify the data match easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AppsFlyer?

Some features in AppsFlyer need improvement. The signup process takes a long time and we struggled to get support initially. It took almost four months to get agency access to refer clients, which was frustrating. The single login for everyone, including agencies and networks, is confusing, and they should consider separate logins for easier identification. The initial setup, though easy, takes too much time, especially in getting network access. This delays traffic acquisition and is something that needs improvement. "Great support and useful marketing performance insights"
5/5
What do you like best about AppsFlyer?

What I like best about AppsFlyer is the support team. They are very responsive, helpful, and patient whenever we have questions or need help troubleshooting an issue. Their team explains things clearly, follows up properly, and gives practical guidance that helps us solve problems faster.

Besides the product itself, the quality of support makes a big difference for our team. It gives us more confidence when using AppsFlyer for tracking, attribution, and campaign performance analysis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AppsFlyer?

AppsFlyer can be difficult to use for beginners, especially for users who are new to mobile attribution, tracking setup, and campaign performance analysis. There are many features, reports, and configuration options, so it may take some time to understand the platform properly.

A more beginner-friendly onboarding flow, clearer in-product guidance, and simpler explanations for key concepts would make the experience easier for new users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Dashboard, Effortless Setup"
5/5
What do you like best about AppsFlyer?

I am using AppsFlyer to track mobile app marketing performance stats and it solves a lot of tracking parameters, allowing me to see clicks, installs, and many other events on the platform. I really like its dashboard because it's very easy to access. When I need to see reports, I go to the light overview section and customize it according to my needs because it's simple and easy to use. The initial setup was very easy, and I love using AppsFlyer so much that I don't feel the need to use it with any other tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AppsFlyer?

It would be really helpful if all the reports were made automatic. Like raw reports, P360 reports, install reports, and PA install reports, it would be great if these could be generated automatically on a weekly basis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Source of Truth for Attribution Across Every Channel"
4.5/5
What do you like best about AppsFlyer?

It serves as a clear, single source of truth, tying installs and down-funnel events back to the exact channel—whether paid social, search, OEM traffic, or affiliates—instead of leaving you to guess. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AppsFlyer?

Pricing scales up steeply as install and in-app event volumes increase, which can make it expensive for rapidly scaling or high-volume apps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Concise, Fast Dashboard with Easy Integration and Responsive Support"
4.5/5
What do you like best about AppsFlyer?

The dashboard is concise, which helps us quickly figure out how to slice and dice the data to get the insights we need. Integration is fairly easy, and the dashboard loads quickly as well. Pricing does change after a few years, but the account management team is open to discussion. Ongoing support is consistently available, and they take the time to listen to our issues. AI is still pretty new for us since we haven’t fully adopted it yet, but appsflyer seems to be moving in that direction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AppsFlyer?

The changes is pretty major causing the learning curve of the new UI took some time, would be great if the transition is step by step Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Judith Arkush of AppsFlyer

Glad the dashboard and integration experience are hitting the mark, and that the support team has been responsive when you need them.

The feedback on the UI transition is something we hear and take note of - smoother onboarding to new versions is something we're focused on.

"Powerful Attribution with a Learning Curve"
4/5
What do you like best about AppsFlyer?

I use AppsFlyer for mobile attribution and tracking installs, finding its robust MMP tools and precise deep linking via OneLink particularly valuable. The real-time fraud protection is excellent for keeping our user acquisition spend clean and efficient. AppsFlyer provides accurate mobile attribution, which solves fragmented data issues and protects our budget from ad fraud. It also ensures we pay for real, high-quality app installs while creating a seamless user journey that maximizes our conversion rates and marketing ROI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AppsFlyer?

The platform can be quite expensive as campaign volume scales, and the complex dashboard has a steep learning curve that makes troubleshooting technical integration issues time-consuming. The initial SDK setup and basic configuration were straightforward, but full integration with custom event tracking, deep links, and server-to-server callbacks required significant technical effort and development time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Judith Arkush of AppsFlyer

Thanks for this detailed review. So pleased you are finding those features valuable. Thank you also for your feedback which helps us to continue to improve our service.

"AppsFlyer: A Robust Tool for Optimizing Campaign Performance"
5/5
What do you like best about AppsFlyer?

I use AppsFlyer regularly to monitor the performance of our campaigns, and I find their customer support to be really good, as we hardly face any problems. I appreciate features like the integration with affiliates, which is important for us, and the ability to optimize brand performance with many available features. The handshake process for pulling affiliate links is very easy and fast, and I've never seen such a short way to do integration. We can also view daily reports and block inappropriate traffic from fraudulent websites, which helps increase sales. I also find the setup user-friendly, as we get all the help needed during setup. In my opinion, AppsFlyer is one of the best tracking tools in affiliate marketing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AppsFlyer?

According to me i never seen anything wrong with Appsflyer and nothing to do dislike . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Attribution & Real-Time Insights, but Reporting Can Feel Overwhelming"
3.5/5
What do you like best about AppsFlyer?

AppsFlyer has become an essential part of our mobile marketing workflow. The attribution reporting is accurate and easy to understand, allowing us to track campaign performance across multiple traffic sources in one place.

One of the features I use most often is the real-time analytics dashboard, which helps us quickly identify high-performing campaigns and optimize marketing spend. The fraud protection tools have also provided significant value by helping reduce invalid traffic and improve the quality of our acquisition data.

An unexpected benefit has been how much easier it became to compare performance across different channels and countries. Instead of manually collecting data from multiple platforms, AppsFlyer centralizes everything and saves our team several hours each week. Overall, it's a reliable platform that provides the insights needed to make data-driven marketing decisions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AppsFlyer?

AppsFlyer is a powerful platform overall, but there are a few areas that could be improved. The reporting interface can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially for new users who need to navigate through multiple menus and dashboards to find specific metrics.

Some custom reports require several configuration steps, which can slow down the workflow when quick insights are needed. Improving report creation with more intuitive templates and easier filtering options would make the platform more efficient.

In addition, while the amount of available data is impressive, certain attribution and analytics reports could benefit from clearer explanations and contextual guidance to help users better understand the metrics. Enhanced onboarding resources and in-platform tips would make the learning curve less steep for new teams.

Overall, these are relatively minor issues compared to the value the platform provides, but addressing them could significantly improve the user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Judith Arkush of AppsFlyer

Really appreciate the detailed feedback. The points on reporting complexity and onboarding are well taken - always good to hear from users directly.

"Solid attribution tool, just watch the bill as you scale"
5/5
What do you like best about AppsFlyer?

The attribution just works and you can actually trust the numbers, which is the main thing when you're deciding where to put your budget. On top of that, the interface is clean and intuitive enough that even someone new to mobile analytics can navigate it without a long learning curve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AppsFlyer?

What do you dislike about AppsFlyer?

The pricing model can catch you off guard — costs scale quickly with event volume, and you may end up paying significantly more than expected as your app grows. On top of that, occasional data discrepancies between AppsFlyer and internal databases make it harder to have one clean source of truth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Judith Arkush of AppsFlyer

So pleased to hear you are having a positive experience overall. Thanks for sharing your feedback we always take that on board.
