I've been using it for a few months to manage graphical revisions of my products, and I have to say it's solved a problem I've had for years: the classic infernal circle of emails with attachments, randomly renamed versions, and clients commenting on blurry screenshots via WhatsApp.

The thing I appreciate most is the version comparison system—there are four different modes, and the "Difference" mode in particular is something I didn't know I needed so much. You upload the old and new versions, and the software highlights exactly what's changed. It seems trivial until you realize how much time you were wasting checking every corner by eye.

The fact that external reviewers can access it via a link without registering is also a huge convenience: clients don't want to create yet another account, so they open the link, leave comments directly on the file with the annotations, and that's it.

I find that Approval Studio could benefit from more specific views for tracking approval statuses, such as whether a project is pending internal or external review, it does show status as review. It would help me see where bottlenecks occur, whether with us or the clients. Super easy to upload design mockups and even provide multiple options for the client to view, comment on or approve.

Even for our technically savvy users, the zoom in/out was cumbersome to get use to. Moving around the design is a little clunky for clients, with click and drag to move.

The simple mode for tools is too basic and the full editing tools is too much for clients. Would like to see a basic arrow added to the simple mode, so the client can see what they are pointing towards, and therefore making it easier for the designer to see and get feedback.
