"Best Service offered by AWS for chatbot"

What do you like best?

Easy to create your own chatbot in minutes .Also it is easy to train your chatbot. Also they have provided some readymade chatbots for review .

What do you dislike?

You can host your chatbot on only four provided channels which are Facebook, Kik, Slack and Twillo SMS .If we want to host our chatbot other than this four then it is quite difficult. It will be good if they can provide more platform(Channels) to host our chatbot .

Recommendations to others considering the product

Yes . Strongly recommanded if you are noviac in IT field and want to host your chatbot for your business .It is also very easy to learn how to create your own chatbot if you find some issues or errors while creating it.At the begining when we implemented this chatbot to our site we found it less useful.But after we trained it and made custome chatbot according to our requirement and now we are finding it more useful and also we are having less queries from our customers regarding our services .

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We have made one chatbot named "Nori" to help our users to navigate in our website. Also if any customer wants to contact our sales team Nori helps them . Nori has all the answers of questions generally asked by our customers which has helped us to focus more on other areas as now we don't need to spent money on employees whos only job was to answer customers repeated questions to answer .

"Amazon Lex is the best software to create conversation interfaces in voice and text applications."

What do you like best?

What I like most about amazon lex is its simplicity of use, the software provides a clear guide through the use of the console to create a chatbot in an easy and simple way. It has very useful features and functionalities, it is also very profitable and has a free version to create and test.

What do you dislike?

In general I like all the features of this software, the only thing I did not like is that in its free version only allows processing 10,000 text requests and 5000 voice requests per month. But the paid version is not expensive at all, it's really worth it.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I recommend to users that before implementing the paid version of amazon lex, experiment with the free version so they can become familiar with its operation.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I used amazon lex to create a chatbot that will help me carry out my routine activities, such as searching for information on the internet, accessing news, etc. I was also able to implement it on my mobile device, it's incredible.

"Speech Recognition in ANY language, hello global chat use-case!!"

What do you like best?

Automatic speech recognition game changer!! This technology can be leveraged with other cloud services to automatically complete specific tasks. Saving time is something that is of major importance with a growing client and the Amazon Lex gives us more time for other tasks that cannot be automated with Alex.

What do you dislike?

The fact the API's weren't opened up until last year as the technology has been around for almost 10 years from what I understand. More tasks would save us all more time.

Recommendations to others considering the product

TRY IT! There is a free trial available on the AWS website and it's worth trying out for anyone who is using chats, leveraging Alexa, or otherwise wants to save time by having basic tasks completed automatically.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Chatbots are being used to increase outbound lead generation usually as apart of a bigger sales strategy. This allows us to communicate in 17 languages with our clients in the way they want to communicate with us -- creating a more meaningful experience. If you've been to a tech show in the last 2 years, you know how important experiences and social media now are!!

"Using Lex for a Progressive Web App"

What do you like best?

I have been trying to find a simple way to add voice input to my progressive web app and it was very easy to follow the provided examples and the documentation. I was able to get my prototype up and running very quickly.

What do you dislike?

Ultimately, I will need more languages supported. I will also need to use it in conjunction with Comprehend to determine tone of the voice input.

"Alexa, Play Despacito"

What do you like best?

Amazon has already done most of the heavy lifting coding-wise. Lots of functionality like NLP and converting text to speech. They even have some tutorial videos on Youtube as well as documentation which really make it more accessible.

What do you dislike?

In the small amount of time I've used it, I've found Amazon Lex to be pretty good for it's value and not very difficult to use, so for right now I really don't have any dislikes.

"Easily one of the best chatbots"

What do you like best?

Easily access the deep learning capabilities for chatbots. Easily integrates with AWS Lambda, Amazon Lex can communicate with Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Marketo, Zendesk, QuickBooks, and HubSpot.

What do you dislike?

Not for the faint of heart developers. Additionally, you will need to have AWS management console. However, once you have this, it'll be easier to manage.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Has been in development for 8 years now, and continues to power their automatic speech recognition. Always stays on top when it comes to cloud computing.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

No upfront cost for lex. Use as you go. Great pricing platform. Makes it affordable to deploy.

"Implement a bot with the power of alexa"

What do you like best?

The amazing power of natural language understanding and speech recognition through alexas brain is no comparison to any service from any company. ( except may be google bot if they do ). It has native one click deploy on multiple streams. Integration to lambda to process business logics.

What do you dislike?

Authentication through third party solutions like octa would be great.

"Leveraging Lex for customer engagement "

What do you like best?

Lex is a cool service and has helped us is quickly building capability quickly and resolved some of the business problems that our customers have

What do you dislike?

Nothing in specific. It has been only good experience from Lex. With multiple products from Alexa, need to have 1 common way of using all of them

"Amazingly Lexa!"

What do you like best?

Amazon has provided an awesome guide to understand it so its very easy to use.

Automatic speech recognition is a great deal in communication.

It can easily understand one's native language and can implement on it accordingly

It can easily build text and voice chat box

What do you dislike?

Hardware and software needs a complex configuration before using it.

It's all related to amazon web services and if the server is down you can't operate the application.

"Need to open up more"

What do you like best?

The programming interface is reallly powerful to dynamically create bots, slots and intents. CLI is another powerful tool which makes the job really easy.

What do you dislike?

Intent confidence score is a must have for identifying the right intent. The other feature which is missing is handling fallback intent

We are building a chat bot for fieldforce. This bot is integrated with the backend system has made the job of data retrieval really easy

"Using Amazon Lex at work"

What do you like best?

The UI is very intuitive and one can quickly learn to navigate it

What do you dislike?

When there are blatant errors that make the bot appear unnatural. Most of the time Amazon lex impresses me, but when it's not 100% then it's painful.

We don't have to manually update the system because machine learning uses past conversations to optimize future bot interactions

"Attempting to Learn"

What do you like best?

Overall, as a company, I really feel that Amazon strives to make their products as user friendly as possible. This product comes with a lot of directions that make it pretty easy to navigate through.

What do you like best?

Amazon Lex provides good value for our customers. It was easy to integrate and link into our solution. They have good functionality and a solid roadmap for the future.

What do you dislike?

They are working on expanding support to different regions, but for now still missing support for certain regions which are important for our customers - they have a good roadmap to move into additional regions.

Makes interactions much easier by allowing people to speak and then use those conversations to help drive optimal outcomes.

I like how intuitive everything is and how easy it is to use.

I don't know that I would change anything. I would look at expanding the regions in which Lex is available.

"Love it, its like a personal customer service agent for yourself"

What do you like best?

I like that Lex is very informative and you dont have to look up things on google you can just use your voice. You can program it to order pizza or even as a travel agent!

There is nothing that i have found that i dont like yet but iim still trying it out

"Lex driving change within FI"

What do you like best?

It works really welli within the broader ecosystem.

What do you dislike?

Not being able to front Alexa with Lex.We are attempting to use Lex as a centralized NLP engine to handle our integration, and that has become a challenge due to Amazon's restrictions on only using ALexa's NLP.

We tackle high volume, low value transactions within the FI.

"iT WORKS GREAT!!"

What do you like best?

I love that you can use both voice and text! Its great for people who arent the best at spelling. I also like that it is pay as you go.

Honestly I really like it and dont dislike anything right now

Easier for Alexa Skills. We can integrate our existing ssyetsm to Alexa using lex easily.
