**What do you like best about Alternative Payments?**

Accepting credit/debit cards payments addresses the majority of online payers' preference. On the flip side, there is a  other online payer segment who by choice/not by choice prefer payment methods other than cards. Alternative payments addresses the latter and the options will differ by country and/or by region.

**What do you dislike about Alternative Payments?**

Handling and disputing fraudulent payments through the alternative channel can sometimes be a headache for the novice merchant.

**Recommendations to others considering Alternative Payments:**

Make sure you have a good risk mitigation process

The key is to identify fraudulent payments before releasing your services or goods. That is the most challenging process when accepting an alternative payment option.
