"Trusted Finance Partner with Pristine Books, But Monthly Closings Could Be Faster"
What do you like best about Pilot?

We absolutely love that Pilot acts like a fully integrated, in-house finance function for our business. They don't just process transactions; they are proactive partners who anticipate our needs and provide guidance without us having to constantly ask for updates. This dedication and trust are what we value most. Because their team handles everything so reliably, we achieve the ultimate benefit: our books are always pristine, and we can forget about the complexities of accounting, knowing that our finances are entirely secure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pilot?

The one area we find challenging with Pilot is the timing required for the full monthly book closing. Because they need around four weeks to prepare the books for a complete month, we are not able to follow our daily or real-time cash flow as closely as we would like. This means we have had to develop and maintain our own internal financial projections and interim tracking systems to manage daily cash flow, since the official financial statements arrive a little later than is ideal for immediate operational decisions. "A reliable and well-organized accounting experience"
What do you like best about Pilot?

Pilot’s platform is definitely what I like most. Everything is very well organized and easy to navigate. From the first set of books they manage for you, expenses are updated on a weekly basis, which provides great visibility and control.

I especially appreciate the roadmap feature, as it gives a clear view of how long your budget is likely to last based on your current spending pace. This has been extremely helpful for planning and financial decision-making. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pilot?

At this stage, I haven’t identified any significant drawbacks. The service has met my expectations so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Affordable, Feature-Rich Platform with Seamless Integrations"
What do you like best about Pilot?

This platform offers a low cost, brings together various features in one place, and provides smooth integration with other services and apps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pilot?

This service feels less personal and comprehensive compared to other bookkeeping options I have used. Occasionally, the automated features lead to unexpected issues that require additional reconciliation. I also wish they provided an option to file sales tax reports. "Great product & Team to work with along with a great QuickBooks Integration/Backend"
What do you like best about Pilot?

We appreciate the asynchronous workflow that Pilot offers, and we especially value that they do all the backend ("actual book keeping" ) in QuickBooks. This combination lets us enjoy the advantages of both QuickBooks Online and Pilot’s software and service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pilot?

This isn't necessarily an issue unique to Pilot, but because we have several bank accounts for our CDs and Treasury accounts that don't all update in real time to Pilot, our cash balances and weekly cash flow statements often turn out to be quite inaccurate. "User-Friendly UI and Seamless Support Make Onboarding a Breeze"
What do you like best about Pilot?

User friendly UI, prompt tech support, positive attitude from the entire team.

Seamless comms from sales to service, we didn't have to reiterate any data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pilot?

Nothing comes to mind at the moment, we've only been clients for about two months. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Pilot is a Game Changer"
What do you like best about Pilot?

Their team is incredibly reliable and detail-oriented, which means I never have to worry about the accuracy of my books or staying compliant. Knowing that Pilot is consistently handling the financial side of things for both my businesses lets me focus on growth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pilot?

While they’re accurate and timely, a little more customization or context specific to my businesses would add even more value. That said, whenever I’ve needed clarification or had a question, the team has been quick to respond and incredibly helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Pilot made bookkeeping very easy in the early stages of our business."
What do you like best about Pilot?

As we become more complex, it was clear that they were not the accounting partner to grow with. Great for early stage though Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pilot?

They are no proactive in getting us to GAAP compliance and make lots of assumptions. They are very focused on closing the books and not as focused on rigor of the books. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable, Communicative, and Easy to Work With"
What do you like best about Pilot?

I really appreciate how communicative and collaborative the team is. They take the time to work with me, explain things clearly, and make sure I always know where my books stand. Everyone I’ve interacted with has been professional, friendly, and genuinely helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pilot?

Honestly, I don’t have any major dislikes. No system is ever perfect, but my experience with Pilot has been smooth and I’ve always felt supported. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Present over Perfect; Pilot is making strides to automate what was hard to automate before"
What do you like best about Pilot?

The portal is easy to use! The reports are better than Quickbooks (to use and read) although they aren't as many. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pilot?

Some features are glitchy, like the revenue waterfall seems to have issues.

Also there are many things they aren't set up to navigate (such as inventory) but they disclose that upfront. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
