## Greenhouse Reviews
 ### 1. Great for Day-to-Day Recruiting, Needs More Flexibility Behind the Scenes

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chantelle M. | HR Generlaist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

Scheduling has been one of the standout features — it's been easy and straightforward to use for coordinating interviews. We also appreciate the flexibility to update job descriptions whenever something changes, without hassle. Similarly, being able to easily fix job info fields and add notes directly within the requisition has been really helpful for keeping things organized and up to date.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

few areas could use improvement. The Jobs tab doesn't allow sorting by all of the column headers (Job, Req ID, Dept, etc.), and it would be great to have the ability to customize that view.
We'd also like to see more flexibility with job templates — once a job draft has been saved, there's no way to designate it as a template afterward. We've created several jobs that should have been templates but missed clicking that option during setup, and now have to recreate them entirely rather than simply converting them. Along the same lines, we have old drafts that were used informally as templates that we'd like to delete or archive, but don't currently have a good way to do that.
Lastly, for our TA Partners, it would help if the "Days to Fill" metric started counting from the day the requisition was actually posted, rather than earlier in the process. Delays caused by hiring managers — like late kickoff form submissions or missed kickoff meetings — currently count against our TA Partners' days-to-fill numbers, even though that's outside of their control.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse has streamlined several key parts of our hiring process. Interview scheduling has become significantly easier and more efficient, saving our team time and reducing the back-and-forth typically involved in coordinating interviews. The ability to update job descriptions on the fly — without needing to start over — has made it much simpler to keep postings accurate as requirements evolve. Similarly, having the flexibility to correct job info fields and add notes directly within a requisition helps us keep hiring information organized and current, giving our team a clearer, more reliable system of record throughout the recruiting process.
It's also been a big improvement to be able to create and send offers directly within Greenhouse. Our prior program required handling offers outside of the system entirely, so having that built into our existing workflow has simplified the process and kept everything in one place.
Overall, these efficiencies have allowed our TA Partners to focus more on candidate experience and less on administrative upkeep.

 ### 2. Clean, Intuitive Recruiting Platform That Streamlines Hiring End to End

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Skylar S. | Payroll and Benefits, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

Greenhouse has been a valuable platform for managing our recruiting process from end to end. The user interface is clean, intuitive, and easy for both recruiters and hiring managers to navigate, making collaboration and candidate management seamless. It integrates well with the other tools in our HR technology stack, which helps reduce manual work and keeps our hiring workflows efficient. The platform is reliable, performs consistently, and provides robust reporting that helps us make data-driven hiring decisions. While it is an investment, the time savings, improved collaboration, and streamlined recruiting process deliver strong value and a positive return on investment. The onboarding experience was smooth, and the support team has been responsive and knowledgeable whenever assistance was needed. I also appreciate the AI-powered features and automation that help simplify administrative tasks and improve overall recruiting efficiency. Overall, Greenhouse has made our hiring process more organized, consistent, and effective while enhancing the experience for both our team and our candidates.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

While Greenhouse is a strong recruiting platform overall, there are a few areas that could be improved. Some advanced reporting and customization options can be complex and require additional time to configure. Certain workflows involve more clicks than necessary, and there are opportunities to make the interface more streamlined for frequent tasks. The AI and automation features are helpful but could offer more flexibility and deeper insights. Additionally, some integrations require extra configuration or third-party support to achieve the desired functionality. Although customer support is generally responsive, resolving more complex issues can sometimes take longer than expected. These are relatively minor concerns, and they do not outweigh the overall value the platform provides.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse helps us solve several recruiting challenges by centralizing the hiring process in one platform. It improves collaboration between recruiters and hiring managers, standardizes interview workflows, and provides better visibility into candidate progress. The platform reduces manual administrative work through automation, simplifies scheduling and communication, and offers reporting that helps us make more informed hiring decisions. As a result, our recruiting process is more organized, efficient, and consistent, allowing us to fill roles faster while providing a better experience for both candidates and our hiring teams.

 ### 3. Industry-Leading API Integrations Make Greenhouse a Tech Stack Favorite

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tony L. | Sr. Director, Global Recruiting Operations and Enablement (Programs + Coordination), Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

What I like the most about Greenhouse is how popular it is across other tech stack and tools in the world as their API is a lead in being able to integrate.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

Greenhouse is looking to evolve to features that will really drive the right person right to you and get them through the process quickly. However Greenhouse at a base level has a decent UI but still clunky between switching jobs and candidates. The performance is great at a basic level but really slows down if you are doing data and reporting. Or if you try to use the Google Connector - be prepared to get a snack while you wait for a complex spreadsheet to load. As of 2025, AI, intelligence, sourcing, MCP, and other features are severely lacking. And with new tools out there, pricing feels to be the higher end of it's more modern competitors.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse, as designed, is the center of our job board and hiring ecosystem and without it, we'd be completely lost.

 ### 4. Outstanding Support and Fast Innovation That Keeps Up With TA Trends

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Taylor F. | C&IS Coordinator of Recruitment and Events, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

Greenhouse's customer support and implementation of feedback is my favorite thing about Greenhouse. If something is missing, it isn't ever too long before it's being introduced. The Greenhouse team does a great job innovating and keeping up with current TA & technology trends.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I would love if some integrations could be integrated into Greenhouse directly, like Grayscale. It'd be great if I didn't have to use Google Chrome to access Grayscale and could make adjustments in Greenhouse directly as needed.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse is able to help our team in multiple capacities - professional hiring, high-volume hiring, seasonal hiring. It's able to flex with our TA team's needs and scale with our business. Automation, AI, and ID/Fraud detection has been a game changer in helping us to be more efficient. We grew from a company of 225 to 900 in 6 months and were able to set up an entirely new recruiting function quickly after an acquisition. They were meeting hiring goals at 100% June of 2025, and just hit 110% for June 2026.

 ### 5. Streamlined Recruitment with User-Friendly Interface

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kyle B. | People Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I use Greenhouse for recruitment and applicant tracking. It makes it a lot easier for us to track applications and import that information into our HRIS system. It's easy to use. Even though the stages were a little confusing at first, I now think they make a lot of sense. I value using the stages and really like the ability to easily pull out the resumes and swipe through them to approve or decline. The initial setup was pretty easy, and I don't think we had any issues going through it. I'm likely to recommend it because I think the system works very well.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I wish that the portal looked a little bit better for the job opening page. It's just very bare bones, like just a name of a position and a link. If it could have a nicer user interface and look prettier, I think it would attract a few more applicants.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Greenhouse for recruitment and applicant tracking. It makes it a lot easier to track applications and import information into our HRIS system.

 ### 6. Intuitive Design, Comprehensive Staff Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Irina Z. | Relocation Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I like that Greenhouse is detailed, easy to use, and has a great design. It keeps everything in one place, so I don’t have to search for information elsewhere or keep asking colleagues. I also love the light color palette, which is easy on my eyes, and the clear organization that helps me always know where to look when I need something specific. On top of that, I like that I can add details about candidates and quickly search for any information I need. The initial setup was amazing, and overall it’s a tool I’d rate 10 out of 10 for sure!

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

Sometimes when I do not write the full name of a candidate the information does not show up, lack of prediction

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps my team and me access the information we need about our employees without having to ask each other for it.

 ### 7. Easy to use ATS

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Linnea B. | Talent Relationship Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

Reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, and managing scorecards. These are features I use regularly, especially for scheduling. Makes it very easy to use where I can send a confirmation email with a click of a button.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

Greenhouse is not a great CRM. I like this for scheduling, application review... it's a great ATS. However, I like to pipeline candidates and have a pool where I can recruit from and unfortunately Greenhouse just isn't designed like that. You can tag candidates, but there's not a great way to search for them.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SCHEDULING! Scheduling in Greenhouse has saved me on a number of times. It's easy to download calendars, see what time(s) work best, select the one you want, and a click of a button the candidate gets the invite link.

 ### 8. I am recruiter with 5 years of experience using various top notch Applicant Tracking Systems.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Syed Muhammad S. | HR Executive - Recruitment, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I really like that I can do my whole recruitment process through Greenhouse from creating a requisition to placing an offer. I love that I don't need to personally make multiple tracker and can instantly see my candidates that need action. I also love new AI integration that allows me to modify the tones of my conversation. I love how it performs the same all the time and there are no glitches. I also love it's integration with Docusign that allows me to send offers from Greenhouse directly. I also love how I can reach out to their support time any time and get help.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

Every time I open a new role and I have to set a start date, that start date starts from the month I started using Greenhouse. In order for me to go to the current month, I have to do multiple taps and it is very difficult to do those taps as UI changes each time and that new button appears somewhere else and I cannot just quickly tap at a single place and do it.

I also don't like that I cannot choose a scorecard for each candidate differently. I generally have uniform scorecards for an entire role but sometimes I have candidate specific questions and I would love to individually set scorecards ahead of the interview.

Some of the interviews that I schedule are supposed to be private interviews but Greenhouse does not give me an option to make them private. I have to open my calendar and make it private after scheduling. What if someone sees it before I make it private!

I am also not a super fan of Greenhouse pricing. I recommended it to a couple of start ups and they told me that it is too expensive.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse has streamlined my whole recruitment process. I don't need to switch between various softwares; instead, I just use Greenhouse for opening a requistion, posting jobs, making scorecards, scheduling interviews, writing reviews, doing reference checks, doing background checks, and ultimately placing an offer.

Since I have been using it for some time now, it is also possible for me to review my older pipelines and reach out to people from older roles for my new roles without leaving Greenhouse.

I can also make different kinds of reports, such as executive report, Hiring Manager Report, Recruiter report, time to hire, time to fill, recruitment funnel report for older roles, etc. and all this helps a lot.

 ### 9. Makes talent acquisition seamless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andres R. | Project Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I love how intuitive the interface is, which makes it easy for recruiters and hiring managers to collaborate smoothly throughout the hiring process. The structured interview kits and customizable scorecards help ensure candidate evaluations stay consistent and aligned across the team. Integrations with other tools like LinkedIn and Slack feel seamless, and they help keep our workflow efficient.

Greenhouse also provides strong transparency and tracking across the entire hiring funnel, so it’s easier to see where candidates are and what’s needed next. The automation for tasks like interview scheduling and email templates saves us a ton of time and reduces back-and-forth. On top of that, the analytics and reporting features give valuable insights into recruiting performance and help us understand what’s working and where we can improve.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

The initial setup can feel a bit complex, especially when you’re configuring custom workflows. Some of the reporting features could also be more flexible for advanced data analysis.

The mobile experience isn’t as smooth as the desktop version, and a few integrations require additional cost or extra technical setup.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse has helped us centralize and streamline our entire recruiting process. Before, hiring was fragmented across tools and email threads. Now, we manage candidate pipelines, interview feedback, and communication all in one place. It improves collaboration across teams and ensures a consistent and fair candidate experience. We’ve also reduced time-to-hire and improved reporting on hiring metrics.

 ### 10. Feature-Rich Greenhouse ATS with Great Reporting, Integrations, and Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dana C. | Talent Acquisition Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

Greenhouse includes a wide range of features that even the smallest TA teams can use to be successful. The reporting tools are both helpful and visually appealing, which our executive leadership appreciates. The availability of integrations with other platforms also makes it easy to connect with additional resources, saving time for our recruiting team. I’ve also continued to receive beneficial support through chat and from our representatives.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

The interface can feel a bit clunky, with too many clicks required to complete simple actions. Some of the reporting is also challenging, especially when working with date ranges. Overall, it’s a pricier ATS.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before we started using Greenhouse, there were a lot of tasks we had to handle manually, such as certain reporting and posting jobs by hand on other sites. With its many integrations, along with access to pre-built reports and templates, Greenhouse has saved our TA team a ton of time and made those processes much more efficient.

 ### 11. Modern, Highly Customizable ATS Backed by Excellent Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dan G. | Head of People, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

The design is modern and the ability to customize nearly anything is fantastic. Their support team is excellent. I've been using their product for over a decade and they've continue to refine and update their core products while still staying true to what an ATS needs to do.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

While there is very little that I actually dislike about Greenhouse, the potential for customization is a doubled-edged sword. It can feel overwhelming to set up email templates, offer letter templates, rules, approval queues, etc.

It is a great product but customers should have someone dedicated to is administration as it can be a lot for one person to handle as part of their other jobs.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse is great at allowing us to review candidates in a logical way, especially by providing custom application questions that introduce the right amount of friction into the application process. We want to have as many qualified applicants as possible, but also want to make sure their skills are relevant to the role. The ability to capture custom information in applications helps up achieve this.

 ### 12. A Great Tool for Interview Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Staffing and Recruiting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

Greenhouse makes it easy to manage a high volume of candidates and keeps our hiring process organized. I especially like the ability to collaborate with hiring managers, track applicants through each stage, and use interview scorecards to collect structured feedback. It has helped streamline our internship and co-op recruiting process and provides good visibility into our recruiting pipeline.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

One challenge with Greenhouse is the interview scheduling process. When sending availability or coordinating interviews, it can be difficult because I can't easily see everyone's calendars in one view. This often requires switching between systems or doing additional coordination to find times that work for all participants. Having better calendar visibility and scheduling functionality within Greenhouse would make the interview scheduling process much more efficient and reduce back-and-forth communication.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse keeps our entire hiring process in one place, making it easier to track candidates, collaborate with hiring managers, and stay organized. It saves time, improves visibility into our recruiting pipeline, and creates a more consistent hiring process.

 ### 13. Seamless Hiring and Organized Onboarding in Greenhouse

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I like how it's organized in Greenhouse, with the whole process of applying and interviewing being seamless. It also houses all the required documents that we need, so it's easy to gather all their information for the onboarding process.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I think it can be integrated better with other HRIS systems. For example, like Rippling, which we use as our HRIS system, it would be nice to get the Greenhouse integrated with Rippling, so that once we get the documents set in place in Greenhouse, it can be automatically transferred into Rippling. That is our kink in our onboarding workflow right now. All documents are manual, whereas the employment information is transferred into Rippling from Greenhouse. That missing feature is preventing us from having a smooth-flowing work stream.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse is great with the hiring process, which is meant to do; however, it would be great to see it being integrated with other HRIS systems.

 ### 14. Efficient Applicant Tracking, Needs Application Review Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ellen H. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I use Greenhouse as my applicant tracking system as a Technical Recruiter. I appreciate how Greenhouse keeps all of my scorecards in order for the entire interview process and has a section for reminders. The scorecards are helpful because I can enter questions ahead of time to ensure I'm consistently asking the same questions to each candidate. I also value that Greenhouse holds all of my applications, although I review them on other platforms. Additionally, integrating Greenhouse with Calendly helps with scheduling interviews. The initial setup of Greenhouse was very easy for me, especially since I've used it at previous companies.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

The application review process could definitely be improved. I typically use Gem instead because I can rank my applicants much easier and filter through applications and reject the ones I don't like. Also, scheduling interviews could be improved, although I use Greenhouse with Calendly for this purpose.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Greenhouse to keep my scorecards organized for the interview process, ensuring I ask the same questions to each candidate, which helps with consistency. It also has a section for reminders.

 ### 15. Strong ATS with lots of automation built in.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steve T. | HR Specialist (Recruitment), Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

The system is highly automated, and the most important elements are customizable. It’s also compatible with on-premise environments (as opposed to cloud-based calendars), which matters a lot to us. I’m glad to see they’re improving the Reporting and Analytics features and putting real attention into what has been one of the weaker aspects of the system. Their Customer Success team has also been consistently solid and a big support for us.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

Pricing - it's getting quite expensive and you may need to pay for some features that you won't need
Support - they do not offer telephone support.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse helps our hiring teams make better, more informed hiring decisions by giving interviewers a clear way to visually capture and share their candidate assessments. It also helps us stay on track through automatic nudges, reminder messages, and predictive analytics. On top of that, it does a decent job addressing common hiring issues, such as duplicate applicants or roles with multiple openings. Overall, the underlying architecture behind these capabilities is really solid.

 ### 16. Great Front-End Usability, Needs Back-End Improvements

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lacey R. | Senior Recruiter, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I like that Greenhouse is very easy to use and very simplistic. Even with over 200 hiring managers in the field who aren't necessarily recruiters, they find Greenhouse very easy to use. The front end user experience is very simplistic, making it straightforward to roll out to my team.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

The back end of Greenhouse isn't extremely user-friendly for us in the retail side. I'd love to see more bulk features, especially since we have about 700 evergreen roles that are consistently posted. Anytime anything needs to be updated, it's a manual process. I can't go in and bulk update all of my CSR roles at once, which would be really helpful. The back end takes a lot more manual work compared to the previous system we used.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Greenhouse easy to use, simplifying hiring for non-recruiters in my field. It's a better fit for our industry compared to iCIMS, despite its back-end requiring more manual effort without bulk update options.

 ### 17. Intuitive, Seamless Workflow Automation with Clear ROI

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Autumn C. | Human Resources Business Partner, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

It’s very intuitive and easy to navigate. It integrates smoothly with our workflows and has helped us elevate our processes, which has boosted engagement. It has also enabled us to automate many tasks that were previously manual, leading to better performance and faster hires. Overall, we’ve seen a clear ROI. Support has been consistently responsive and helpful.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

While it has helped us streamline many processes, getting it up and running—and then maintaining the workflows—has taken a large amount of effort.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before implementing Greenhouse, our hiring process was inconsistent and largely manual. We struggled with tracking candidates across roles, maintaining structured interviews, and ensuring alignment between hiring managers.

With Greenhouse, we now have a centralized system that standardizes our hiring workflows, from application review to interview feedback. This has improved collaboration across teams, reduced time spent on administrative tasks, and created a more consistent candidate experience. As a result, we’ve seen faster hiring timelines and better visibility into our recruiting pipeline.

 ### 18. Amazing First Year Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

Greenhouse is an incredible platform that allows for seamless communication with candidates, amongst internal team members and scheduling interviews. The platform has met our agency’s needs thus far and has a lot of functionalities that are an added benefit to our recruitment process. The implementation process requires a lot of dedicated time working in the platform but it truly prepares you to be ready to go live on day one. Their customer support is always available and is great at resolving any issues.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

There is very little that we dislike about Greenhouse at this time, but it is a big learning curve if you have never used this kind of ATS before. There is a lot of testing of the system to make sure everything is functioning how you need it to. It integrates well with our job boards, but one in particular is Handshake where we cannot integrate it without paying for the package within Handshake. Unfortunately, due to the cost of both Greenhouse and what the package would cost with Handshake, we have to manually post our positions to Handshake, but can provide the direct URL so we can track who is applying from that site in Greenhouse.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse has been able to streamline our communication with candidates as well as provide a central hub for our internal recruitment team. It has allowed us to easily post positions on various job boards and track application sources. The platform has also increased our ability to report on our recruitment efforts and help us create and manage department and agency goals.

 ### 19. Intuitive Recruiting Workflow, but Reporting and Analytics Need More Flexibility

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

What I like best about Greenhouse is its intuitive and user-friendly interface, which makes managing candidates and coordinating with hiring teams straightforward. The workflow is well organized, and the collaboration features help keep everyone aligned throughout the recruitment process. It also integrates well with other tools, making day-to-day recruiting activities more efficient.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

there is still room for improvement, particularly in the reporting and analytics capabilities. While the available reports cover basic needs, generating more customized insights and extracting actionable data can be challenging. Enhancing the flexibility and depth of reporting would significantly improve the overall experience.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse helps us centralize and streamline the recruitment process, from sourcing candidates to managing interviews and hiring decisions. It provides a structured workflow that improves collaboration between recruiters and hiring managers, ensures better visibility into candidate progress, and helps maintain a consistent hiring experience.

The main benefit for me is increased efficiency and organization. Having all candidate information, communication, and interview feedback in one place reduces manual work and makes it easier to track hiring progress. It also helps the team stay aligned and make faster, more informed hiring decisions. However, while Greenhouse is effective for managing the recruitment process, the reporting and analytics functionality could be more robust and flexible to better support data-driven decision-making.

 ### 20. Streamlined Recruiting, Needs Better Onboarding

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Security and Investigations | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I love that Greenhouse is super user-friendly, offering a lot of different tools within its ATS platform that cater to both the recruiter and candidate experiences. It's clear that the user and candidate experiences were a focus when it was made, and I really appreciate that. The platform's usability makes our job easy, and it's not hard to find what we're looking for. We love it.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I think the Greenhouse onboarding side could be improved a lot. There's a lot of focus on the recruiting side and not a lot on the onboarding side. Things have stayed the same over the years, and I would love to see more updates and improvements. Also, we can't use it with our HRIS platform because we use Paycom, and that integration is not available yet.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse helps keep our talent pool organized, allowing us to tag profiles for better identification in our CRM. It offers an easy, user-friendly experience for both us and our hiring managers.

 ### 21. User-Friendly, Highly Customizable, and Smart Candidate Search

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Capucine H. | Talent Acquisition Partner, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

How user friendly it is and how customizable it is. It allows you to add candidate interview stages and customize almost everything. I also like the smart features that remember the candidates that you have previously looked up/worked with when you go to search a candidate name.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

It won't let you add interview questions all at once- you have to copy and paste one by one. Also, it's sometimes a lot of steps to get to each stage.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking applicants and creating a smooth interview process as a recruiter. Saves me a lot of time compared to other ATS I have used in the past.

 ### 22. Solid ATS system, with room for improvement!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I really like the ease of use with Greenhouse. It's intuitive for our hiring teams to navigate, as well as the Talent team. There's a handful of helpful integrations that are helping our team streamline our hiring process, and when there's questions, we've got a lot of resources to answer them. it also provides a lot of room for customization and automation.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

Pricing is a factor. We're a non-profit so every dollar counts, and not having a lot of the basic functioning of an ATS even at the highest price point is a little bit of a tough sell. The user permissions for users are also bundled within each other, so it's harder to get the specific permissions needed for specific individuals. And there's limitations with the auto-reject features and application filtering needing to be done manually.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have quite a few admin tasks to complete that we've been able to streamline through Greenhouse, and with the new features coming for scheduling, that will be further improved.

 ### 23. Streamlines Hiring But Needs Better Candidate Search

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Connor T. | Talent Acquisition Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I like how Greenhouse helps us rack and stack candidates for different jobs. The onboarding feature is great as we hire candidates through Greenhouse and then launch them into onboarding. The reporting functions are really useful for tracking metrics and KPIs. The scorecard features are great because they're very helpful in easily distinguishing different interviews and using the new AI features in the scorecards helps when sending information to hiring managers and leadership. The scorecards also help set up interviews by giving direction and pointing where the interview needs to be focused, whether on the recruiting side, the hiring manager, or the technical screen. Greenhouse gives us everything we need for tracking applicants, gathering resumes, reviewing interviews and offers, and going through approvals for reps and offers. It's a really great tool.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

The biggest thing that could be improved in Greenhouse is the database searching for candidates. It's really difficult to search for older candidates or those who have applied to previous jobs. The search feature can be effective if you know what you're doing, but it’s tough. Once you get filters in place, it's hard to visually review the candidate profiles, and it's tough to know what you're looking at.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Greenhouse for candidate and applicant tracking, utilizing scorecard features and interview plans to streamline our hiring process. It helps us rack and stack candidates and provides reporting functions to track our metrics and KPIs.

 ### 24. Simple, Intuitive UI with Fast Performance and Flexible Integrations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Judit L. | Tech Recruiter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

Simple, intuitive UI/UX that’s easy to navigate, with fast performance. There are lots of possibilities to integrate with other apps, which makes it flexible for different workflows. I haven’t had to use support myself, but colleagues have used it and say it’s 10/10. The AI features are also cool and help improve my workflow. I don’t have visibility into the pricing, but it seems fine.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

a bit to complex in terms of user experience some times... like there's A LOT of thing you can do, sometimes too many hehe

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Efficiency in recruitment.

 ### 25. Greenhouse Recruitment Review by Prathamesh Sakre

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prathamesh S. | Senior AR Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

its structured hiring approach, intuitive user interface, and robust automation capabilities. It is widely considered a top-tier applicant tracking system (ATS) for organizations focused on collaboration and efficient, data-driven hiring

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

Based on user feedback, most people find Greenhouse Recruitment to be a powerful, structured Applicant Tracking System (ATS) that is nonetheless hindered by a steep learning curve, a clunky user interface, and limited customization.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse offers a robust talent acquisition solution and candidate tracking system that help businesses find and attract top talent for their teams. Its benefits include

Talent pool: Keeps track of people you might want to hire in the future
Job ad market: Promotes your job openings across thousands of job boards
CRM: Organizes and tracks candidate data, so your team can better collaborate
Candidate referral program: Encourages employees to refer potential hires
Career page and job board integration: Creates transparency and trust with candidates and makes it easier to create tailored social media outreach

 ### 26. Convenient Features and a Friendly UI

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Preet G. | Manager, Global People & Culture, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

Greenhouse ATS has been an excellent addition to our recruitment tech stack. From the very beginning, the platform stood out for its ease of use. The interface is intuitive, well structured, and easy for both recruiters and hiring managers to navigate without extensive training. The implementation process was smooth and well supported, allowing our team to get up and running quickly with minimal disruption.

When it comes to customer support, one of the highlights has been the strong set of learning resources and documentation available. The platform provides clear guides, help articles, and step by step resources that make it easy to understand processes, troubleshoot issues, and learn new features independently.

We use Greenhouse frequently in our day to day hiring operations, and it has significantly streamlined our workflow. The system offers a strong range of features, from candidate tracking and interview scheduling to structured hiring workflows and reporting tools. Its ease of integration is another advantage, especially the seamless connection with LinkedIn and other job boards, which makes sourcing and managing candidates much more efficient.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

Since we migrated to Greenhouse from our previous ATS just 3–4 months ago, one thing we’re still figuring out is how to automate parts of the availability requests and interview-scheduling tasks. It’s a little complex, but I’m sure we’ll get it sorted out within a week or two.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse helps streamline and structure the entire hiring process by centralizing candidate tracking, interview coordination, and hiring workflows in one platform. It reduces manual effort, improves collaboration between the TA team and hiring managers, and brings consistency to evaluations. This ultimately helps us make faster, more organized, and better-informed hiring decisions.

 ### 27. Organized, User-Friendly Hiring Workflow That Streamlines Recruiting

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** SARALA S. | Student, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

What I like best about Greenhouse is how organized and user-friendly the hiring workflow feels for both recruiters and candidates. The interview scheduling, application tracking, and collaboration features make the recruiting process much more efficient and easier to manage.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

One thing I dislike about Greenhouse is that some workflows can feel a bit complex for first-time users, especially when navigating multiple interview stages or feedback sections. I also think certain reporting and customization features could be more intuitive and easier to configure.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse helps streamline and organize the hiring process by keeping applications, interview feedback, and scheduling in one place. It improves collaboration between recruiters and hiring teams, which helps reduce delays and makes candidate tracking much more efficient.

 ### 28. Powerful, Structured Hiring, But a Learning Curve and Some Reporting/UI Friction

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samir S. | Human Resources Generalist and HRIS Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

What stands out most about Greenhouse is its structured, data-driven approach to hiring. The platform makes it easy to build consistent and fair interview processes through scorecards, interview kits, and standardized workflows, which helps reduce bias and improve decision-making quality.
I also really appreciate how intuitive and collaborative it is with hiring managers, recruiters, and interviewers can all stay aligned in one place, making communication and feedback seamless. Its reporting and analytics capabilities are another big strength, providing actionable insights into pipeline health, time-to-hire, and candidate experience.
Finally, Greenhouse integrates well with other HR tools, making it a flexible solution for scaling organizations that want a more strategic, organized, and candidate-friendly hiring process.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

While Greenhouse is a strong platform overall, there are a few areas that can be challenging.
One common drawback is that the system can feel complex and somewhat overwhelming for new users. The level of structure and customization is powerful, but it also means there’s a learning curve, especially for hiring managers who use it less frequently.
Another limitation is reporting flexibility. While Greenhouse provides solid standard reports, building highly customized or advanced analytics sometimes requires extra effort or external tools.
Some users also find the user interface a bit less modern compared to newer platforms, and certain workflows (like bulk actions or candidate movement) can take more clicks than expected.
Lastly, integrations, while extensive, can occasionally require additional configuration or troubleshooting to work seamlessly, particularly with less common HR tech tools.
Overall, these aren’t deal-breakers, but they can impact efficiency depending on how the platform is implemented and used.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse is primarily solving the problem of unstructured, inefficient, and biased hiring processes, which are very common as companies scale. It brings structure, consistency, and data into recruitment, and that creates several clear benefits.
1. Problem: Disorganized and manual hiring processes
Greenhouse centralizes everything, applications, interview feedback, and candidate tracking, so nothing gets lost or duplicated. It also automates repetitive tasks and streamlines workflows.
Benefit: Saves significant time, reduces admin work, and allows recruiters to focus more on engaging with candidates rather than managing spreadsheets.
2. Problem: Inconsistent and biased decision-making
Without structure, hiring decisions often rely on “gut feeling.” Greenhouse enforces standardized interview kits and scorecards so every candidate is evaluated on the same criteria.
Benefit: Leads to fairer, more objective hiring decisions and improves overall quality of hires while reducing bias.
3. Problem: Lack of visibility and data in hiring
Many teams struggle to understand what’s working in their hiring funnel. Greenhouse provides reporting on pipeline metrics, source effectiveness, and hiring performance.
Benefit: Enables data-driven decisions, like optimizing sourcing channels or reducing time-to-hire.
4. Problem: Poor collaboration across hiring teams
Recruiters, hiring managers, and interviewers often work in silos. Greenhouse creates a shared platform where everyone can leave feedback, track progress, and stay aligned.
Benefit: Improves communication, speeds up decision-making, and creates accountability.
5. Problem: Weak candidate experience
Disorganized processes can lead to delays and poor communication with candidates. Greenhouse structures the journey and helps teams stay responsive.
Benefit: Enhances candidate experience, strengthening employer brand and offer acceptance rates.

 ### 29. Efficient and structured hiring platform for growing teams

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manuel T. | Finance & Strategy Senior Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

Greenhouse provides a very structured approach to recruitment. The interview pipeline is easy to customize, which helps keep hiring processes consistent across teams. Collaboration between hiring managers, recruiters, and interviewers is smooth because feedback is centralized and easy to track. I also like the integrations with other HR and productivity tools, which makes it easier to manage the entire hiring workflow in one place.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

The platform can feel a bit complex at first, especially for new users who are not familiar with ATS systems. Some configuration options require admin support, and reporting could be more flexible without needing additional setup. While the system is powerful, the interface occasionally feels slightly outdated compared to some newer tools.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse helps standardize and organize the recruitment process. Before using it, candidate information and interview feedback were scattered across emails and spreadsheets. With Greenhouse, everything is centralized—from job postings to interview scheduling and candidate evaluation. This improves transparency in hiring decisions and helps the team move candidates through the process faster and more consistently.

 ### 30. GreenHouse is pretty wonderful

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sandy N. | Recruiter Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

GreenHouse features are extremely useful. I find GreenHouse extremely user friendly, and easy to navigate. Customer support has always been very reliable and resourceful. Integration with other platforms have been very simple to configure. GreenHouse has always been able to provide plenty of customization options. I've really been impressed with all of the GreenHouse updates on the User Interface. GreenHouse is definitely improving each day!

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

Like everything else, there have been occasional bugs and glitches, but everything has been able to be resolved quickly.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Main one is serving as an Applicant Tracking System- helps organize all candidate profiles and documents.
Serves as a Recruiting Platform- we use GreenHouse to post all of our open positions.

 ### 31. Efficient Integration but UI Needs Work

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mahesh B. | Sr. Director, People Technology & Operations, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I appreciate Greenhouse's native connectors that make seamless data transfers. It simplifies the flow of information between Greenhouse and Workday for job requisitions and offers after a candidate is hired, as well as to CoderByte for candidate technical evaluations. The initial setup of Greenhouse was very easy and quick, pretty straightforward. Also, the APIs are very easy to set up and use.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

Greenhouse could improve their UI, especially with flexibility around the Jobs home page which cannot be customized. We're stuck with the default fields and can't add additional ones. Additionally, the dashboards aren't great, so we have to rely on external tools like Snowflake and Tableau for reporting.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Greenhouse solves chaotic candidate experiences and makes data transfers easier between various systems.

 ### 32. Feature-Rich and Flexible, with Continuous Development of AI Tools and Integrations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Biotechnology | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

Optionality and continuous addition of features. I like the AI/Intelligence tools, however they still need improvement. I find that I get better results when using tools outside of greenhouse rather than within. Pricing is always more than we want to spend, but I think in general it is fair. We are about to go up a tier with added features, so we will see if the price increase is worth it for the new features. I'm very interested in getting the onboarding tool, however I'm trying to get our onboarding team onboard. I like how it is able to integrate various tools and functions into one. Regarding integrations, we don't currently use that many, however I am hopeful to integrate with ADP. I do however feel the integrations with Microsoft could be improved. Scheduling can be difficult with multiple schedulers. Also, regarding remote offer approvals, it can't be done via email, it has to be redirected to the app, which isn't ideal for most executives.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

The app has limited functionality, and I wish more could be done there. It would be helpful to have quick scheduling options, plus the ability to add Zoom links or reserve a conference room for an interview.

It’s also difficult to make scheduling changes if you aren’t the one who originally scheduled the interview.

I’d like easier reporting breakdowns with better filters, and a more searchable CRM overall.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Interview scheduling, embedded questions, and attributes that help keep interviews focused. The process and stages are clear and easy to follow.

 ### 33. Comprehensive, Intuitive ATS That Streamlines Hiring (Plus Powerful Integrations)

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

Greenhouse is continuously pushing out improvements that making using the software easier and more intuitive. I also appreciate that the software makes it simple for candidates to apply without jumping through hoops. Overall, it's a very comprehensive way to gather data and make the hiring process more streamlined.
The fact that it integrates with Rippling and Slack also make Greenhouse much more powerful. I am exploring the way that Greenhouse and Claude AI can also be integrated.
I typically don't have any issues with bugs or performance within the ATS which is much appreciated.
I can't speak to pricing that our company specifically has, but I do know that it seems to be worth whatever we are paying as we continue to renew our contract and see the benefits of what we are paying for.
Our account rep has also been awesome in showing us what we are underutilizing within the system and ways that we can make our jobs easier. It's really nice to have that 1:1 time to explore and learn.
The new AI features are impressive but I admittedly need to play around with them more. One that I benefit from regularly is the feedback summary feature.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

It can be a little tricky to find things because they tend to be buried within other tabs/links. Sometimes these things make sense, but others it seems counterintuitive. I dislike that I can't schedule ALL types of messages (including those with availability links).

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse is taking the heavy lifting out of organizing data and providing a more seamless experience for our candidates and internal stakeholders. I think that making Greenhouse the golden source of truth enables an organization to be more on top of the important hiring details.

 ### 34. Efficient Candidate Tracking but Needs UI Improvements

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angela A. | Recruitment Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

What I like most about Greenhouse is the tracking feature that ensures candidates are on the right pipelines. I also appreciate the scorecard feature, which is great because it helps me to keep track of my notes for specific candidates, making scorecards very useful. Additionally, the step-by-step, structured process for candidates is customizable, helping to keep us organized.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I think the interface could be a lot better. It's a little less visually appealing than other ATS. I think it lacks a bit of color and it's also a little bit clunky, like it's too wordy. If you're a new user, you might get overwhelmed because there are a lot of things in there, so it's not really as straightforward to use. And then aside from that, the sourcing tools could be improved because right now we are using a different platform for sourcing. So if there could be some sourcing features added, that would be much better.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Greenhouse to keep candidate files intact, track their progress in the hiring pipeline, and schedule interviews efficiently without needing another platform.

 ### 35. Convenient Interview Scheduling and Audit-Ready Records

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

It makes it very convenient to organize and schedule interviews while maintaining clear records for audits and other purposes, without a recruiter on staff.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

There is no way to send confirmations automatically to candidates so if you forget to manually send them it causes issues.
Also there is no way to request job req approval without building a full job posting (which is a lot of work if a job ends up being declined for posting). This causes a lot of unnecessary work and/or us to maintain a process outside of greenhouse.
The customer service is terrible - no one ever answers support tickets and getting help in a reasonable timeframe is impossible.
No one provides updates on product capability or what’s going on. Everything is search fo it and guide yourself. No support or guidance UNLESS they want you to renew your contract then you hear from them daily.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We don’t have an in house recruiter and it acts as a 1/2 an employee with automation to help us keep things flowing for our teams. I’m able to support hiring managers far more than I could before we had it.

 ### 36. Streamlines Recruiting with Robust Automation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dorie C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I really enjoyed the feature of selecting time slots and sending it to the candidate, which makes it a lot easier than listing it out. I also really like that there's a lot of ways to automate, especially when hiring for multiple roles. Any automation helps. It streamlines the process and makes it a lot easier and quicker, especially when booking for multiple roles. It also helps to coordinate availability better than emailing.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

There are some things which are not intuitive. We did have some issues hooking up the Zoom. And then we also had some issues in regards to figuring out how to book through my own calendar. I think it would make it a little bit easier to not have to book through a personal calendar when you're booking for somebody else. Or to have the option to not have it show up on my calendar. Because then my calendar gets filled up with interviews.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Greenhouse to recruit and it streamlines scheduling, scoring, and automating tasks, making everything quicker and easier. It helps coordinate availability efficiently, better than emailing.

 ### 37. Greenhouse’s Evolving, User-Friendly UI Keeps Getting Better

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristel L. | Senior Talent Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

Over the years, I’ve really appreciated how Greenhouse has listened to customer feedback and used it to make the user interface so much better. I love how it’s evolved into a truly user-friendly system, and the improvements have made it easier and more enjoyable to use.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

There are still some minor reporting details that we aren’t able to pull, or more granular report fields that we have to manually create outside of the Greenhouse system.

The automated scheduling system also isn’t as robust as we’d like it to be.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use our ATS system as the single source of truth, automate approval-chain workflows, and track hiring progress end to end.

 ### 38. Efficient Workflow Enhancer with Stellar Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lindsay R. | Sr. Manager, Talent Acquisition Systems & Analytics, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I like the interface of Greenhouse. It's really easy to navigate, and it's always easy to answer questions through the support article library or by chatting with a bot. When I have more complex technical questions, I find that submitting a ticket yields fairly quick and detailed responses, and I always get friendly responses with detailed suggestions on how to work through different problems. We're also really into the new AI features, and I'm excited about how they might integrate into our current workflows. I love Greenhouse, giving it a 10 on how likely I am to recommend it to a friend or colleague. The ability to organize candidates applying to various jobs and track where they are in our recruiting processes is helpful, as well as sharing insightful data on what's working and what's not. I'm also a big fan of custom reports and exporting the data I need.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I'm still waiting for the new Greenhouse analytics to come out. I was told it was gonna come out in 2025, but looks like we're still waiting for that. So I'm excited to see if the enhancements change that workflow for me at all and if I can eliminate having to export reports and upload them into Power BI if the new dashboards in Greenhouse will be better and more suitable for our team.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Greenhouse to organize candidates, track their progress in recruiting, and share insightful data. It helps identify process sticking points and works well with custom reports for analytics.

 ### 39. Streamlined Recruiting with Powerful Features and Continuous Improvements

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

What I value most about Greenhouse is its strong focus on building a structured interview process. The platform allows recruiters to work closely with managers to create scorecards and questions tailored to specific areas of interest. I also find the reporting capabilities very helpful. There are a number of thoughtfully designed, pre-built reports and dashboards, and it's easy to generate custom reports to fit our particular requirements. In addition, I appreciate the recent AI enhancements, including tools that summarize interview feedback and automate scheduling. Every quarter, new features are rolled out that truly make our work as recruiters much more manageable.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I would appreciate it if they improved the visuals on their dashboards, especially for data presentations. I often find myself needing to export the data into other programs when preparing for QBRs or MBRs. Additionally, I'm not impressed with their mobile app, as it feels quite limited in terms of functionality.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are addressing the issue of fake candidate profiles, which is becoming a bigger problem as AI tools continue to advance.

 ### 40. Intuitive and Easy to Use, with Excellent Customer Success Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Biotechnology | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

Greenhouse is very intuitive to use. Updates are easy to make for jobs, and everyone who works in Greenhouse uses it relatively easily. I also like the support we receive from Customer Success. We are kept up-to-date about product enhancements, changes, and ideas. There are many seamless partnerships that Greenhouse cultivates, which makes it fun to explore new capabilities of the tool!

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

Sometimes, the connection between Greenhouse and Outlook is a bit finnicky. Greenhouse will take a bit to update availability, track interviewers acceptances/declines, cancel meetings. If I forward a meeting invite, I am automatically added to the interviewer list. Small things like that. They can be a bit annoying, but it's not a huge deal.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse is helping us give candidates links to view job descriptions, making our recruiters happy, and candidates satisfied. We are also getting help from Greenhouse with interview transcription and recording!

 ### 41. Effiziente Personalbeschaffung mit herausragender Automatisierung

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

 ### 42. The only ATS I'll ever use!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bee K. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

The structured interview kits and scorecard functionality have been especially impactful in improving alignment across interviewers and creating a more consistent evaluation process. It’s made collaboration easier and has helped us make more data-informed hiring decisions.

We’ve also found the reporting and analytics features increasingly valuable. The ability to quickly pull insights on pipeline health, time-to-fill, and source performance has supported more strategic workforce planning conversations.

Additionally, the integrations with other tools in our tech stack have streamlined workflows and reduced manual work, which has been a major efficiency gain for our team.

Overall, Greenhouse continues to evolve in ways that meaningfully support both our recruiters and hiring managers, and we’re excited to keep leveraging its capabilities.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

Smarter duplicate detection across different email addresses

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse effectively addresses several key challenges in our hiring process. Firstly, it streamlines applicant tracking, allowing us to easily manage and organize candidates throughout the recruitment lifecycle. This saves us time and ensures that no promising candidates slip through the cracks.

 ### 43. Fantastic ATS That Keeps Improving—Greenhouse Listens and Delivers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Antoinette K. | Talent Acquisition Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

Greenhouse is a fantastic ATS for managing scheduling, recruiting operations, and reports. I’ve been using it for a couple of years now, and it continues to improve over time. Greenhouse has been actively expanding their toolset and continuing to release regular updates. It’s clear they are prioritizing their users input and are directly based on customer feedback.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I have no dislikes about Greenhouse. It has consistently met the needs of the company and have improved the workflow.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Timely Communication
Efficiency and Time Savings
Better Candidate Experience
Providing updates regarding their brands

 ### 44. Positive Greenhouse Experience

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Clark P. | Lead Recruiter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2021

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I really like the scorecard summaries feature to provide a consolidated overview of a candidates performance in the interview process. Its a great snapshot to share with executives that want a concise read.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

Reporting is still lacking in my opinion. More intuitive dashboards similar to GEM would be great to see.

There are also scheduling features that could be improved. For example, when sending a candidate an interviewers availability, you can only select one interviewer at a time in the calendar. It would be great to select as many as you'd like to more easily share availability across multiple individuals. It's also frustrating when you need to shift around an onsite interview or panel interview. You can only reschedule one person at a time rather than see all scheduled interviews and easily drag/drop interview times on the calendar (like when you originally schedule).

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Were using the data to make informed decisions on hiring timelines and bottlenecks in the recruiting process. I do wish the reports could be viewed in a better manner rather than just in rows and columns.

 ### 45. Slowly catching up to AI speeds

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stevie-Leigh W. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2023

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

Still a strong ATS, and I'm a big fan of Real Talent. Looking forward to new reporting capabilities too.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

Other ATSs such as Ashby are miles ahead in the AI and automation space - Greenhouse has the tenure but seems to be moving slower to catch up with the speed of other tools. I think they will get there, likely just doing their due diligence rather than jumping two feet into AI adoption, but unless we see big steps in the next 6-12 months we may need to consider other options. I'd much prefer to have all the advances within one tool rather than supplementing with ad-ons like Willo/Paradox/Metaview to elevate processes and speed up recruitment.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking interviews to ensure consistency. The ability to add skills which allows managers to evaluate against them. Simple to use which means TA is able to stick closer to processes. Also really supported and simplified the approvals/offer processes.

 ### 46. Easy to Use, Feature-Rich, and Great Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nadine T. | Registered Behavior Technician, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

It’s very easy to use and has really nice features. I also really love the integrations. Its a very intuitive ATS

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

When you hire a candidate against a req, you can’t just leave the job open. If you close it, it automatically rejects the remaining candidates. I’d really like an option to move all active candidates into a new req instead of having them rejected.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think our team is working on making offers and similar content more mobile-friendly.

 ### 47. User-Friendly ATS with Integrated Onboarding

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marla C. | Talent Acquisition Associate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I love how easy Greenhouse is to use. I've used a lot of ATSs during my tenure, and I think Greenhouse is probably the most user-friendly. It's great for reviewing applications, and even just as an applicant, Greenhouse is one of the easiest ATSs to apply with. When we're at the application review stage, it makes it really easy to just tap through applications and either advance or reject. It provides a lot more structure and organization, allowing all my stakeholders to see what I see in terms of candidates. I think it makes everything easier.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I think I like most of the capabilities of Greenhouse. There's not much I would change. I do wish some features, like the auto reject filters, were included in the standard purchase without needing to pay extra. Whenever you get over a 100, 200 candidates in one day, it's hard to go through every single one. It would be helpful if the auto reject feature was available to us without additional cost.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse streamlines communication with candidates, making it easy to review applications. It helps me stay organized, ensuring candidates receive timely communication and everyone's up to date in the recruitment process.

 ### 48. Customizable ATS, Needs Better UI and Support

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Armando R. | Global Talent Acquisition Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I really like that Greenhouse can be heavily customizable. It's a very good feature to have the ability to tailor it to what we want. It's been useful as an ATS to focus on targeting different job boards and keeping track of a good volume of candidates across different countries.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

Sometimes, I get their support, like, the customer support stacking. I feel like there's instances in which they might reach out just to get some information but they really did care about the improvements, so both the product in customer success could be improved. I think if you're hiring for a position you open once every couple of months, that's good, but if you have multiple positions open at the same time in different countries, it's not enough. I think this needs to be improved.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Greenhouse as an ATS, making it easy to track recruiter efforts and candidates across different regions. It's very helpful for keeping records and funneling applications from various countries.

 ### 49. Some thoughts about Greenhouse (support, customization etc.)

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

In Greenhouse, you have a lot of different features and you can customize extensively, which is helpful for organisations that work in different countries and under different jurisdictions.

I personally also enjoy the different trainings, and appreciate the ability to have sessions also in small groups with Greenhouse to ask questions.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

There are some features that could be further developed - for example being able to share email templates with certain team members only instead of the whole team. Also sometimes it is hard to keep track when automatic emails are being sent to candidates, so the complexity and customization comes with pros and cons.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think currently one of the biggest issues is AI-generated applications, and I appreciate that Greenhouse has extensive measures to combat that.

 ### 50. Extremely Easy-to-Use UI That Makes Candidate Tracking Simple

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shivam S. | Educator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

Greenhouse UI is extremely easy to use. Like one can start using it from word go without any help or supervision. It also helps to track candidates a lot easily

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

One thing that I noticed is difficulty in tracking candidate names where the list is large. Also, rejected candidates go at last and there is no proper filter to search them by name

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse is bringing all the parts and processes of recruitment under one roof. This saves times and making recruitment more efficient
