# Which retail media platforms go beyond the native Amazon advertising tools for brands with tight margins that need better automation and reporting than Seller Central provides?

Quartile, Teikametrics, and Intentwise surfaced most often, though each addresses a different part of the problem.

Looking across the retail media advertising platforms category, the real gap is not access to campaign data. It is turning that data into faster bidding, clearer margin visibility, and fewer wasted dollars.

For protecting margin specifically, Adbrew factoring in inventory and Buy Box status is what I'd want most. Automation that knows not to spend on a product that can't currently convert is a more direct margin play than bidding speed alone.

### Comment 2

For a tight-margin brand, I’d want the automation optimizing toward contribution margin rather than ROAS alone. A campaign can look efficient on ad metrics while pushing a low-margin SKU that barely contributes profit after fees and discounts. The platform that can bring product economics into bidding decisions seems much more valuable than one that simply automates bids faster.

Everything I've read about Teikametrics lines up with the point already made above, that the value shows once you let the automation actually act. Hourly bid updates through Amazon Marketing Stream is a genuinely different thing from a reporting layer, and for thin-margin accounts that gap between "seeing it" and "acting on it" is most of the story.

Seller Central's reporting is honestly fine until your margins get thin enough that a bad week actually hurts. That's when you realize you need something that acts on the data, not just shows it to you. Teikametrics made a real difference for us once we stopped treating it like a dashboard and let the automation run.
