The system integrates seamlessly across our campus, providing faculty and staff with immediate access to duress and emergency alerts from both mobile and desktop devices. Setup and onboarding were straightforward, and the responsiveness from their support team, especially Jim Perkins, has been exceptional. Every interaction with 911Cellular reinforces their deep understanding of K–12 school environments and their commitment to keeping people safe.

Honestly, nothing. The platform has performed exactly as promised, and the team behind it consistently goes above and beyond to ensure success.

**What problems is 911cellular solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a K–6 independent school, our priority is maintaining a secure, coordinated emergency response system. 911Cellular gives our staff confidence that help is just a tap away. Whether in the classroom, on the playground, or during after-school programs. The system integrates perfectly with our existing security ecosystem, including Rhombus cameras and Pikmykid, allowing us to manage safety holistically. Beyond the technology itself, 911Cellular has given our community peace of mind through its reliability, real-time visibility, and direct link to emergency services.

**What do you like best about 911cellular?**

I have been thoroughly impressed with our experience with this company. From the beginning, the sales team displayed exceptional knowledge of every aspect of their product and were refreshingly transparent about its capabilities and limitations. The onboarding team went above and beyond, working outside of regular hours to ensure we met our deadlines, and were always available to answer questions promptly.

Now that we're fully operational, the company continues to check in regularly with helpful updates and recommendations to ensure we’re maximizing the system’s potential. On the rare occasions we've encountered an issue, their support team has been incredibly responsive and quick to resolve it. For those rare cases that needed more in-depth attention, their development team handled the issue swiftly and effectively.

Their development team is outstanding—constantly evolving the product and adding new features that enhance functionality. It’s clear they’re committed to making an already excellent product even better. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a product backed by a knowledgeable, supportive, and innovative team.

In truth, I searched hard to find a dislike. If I had to pick a dislike, I'd say you can't get them to say no to a solution. You through ideas for the product and they will explore it. You try to throw them a curveball and they find a way to make it work.

It provides a mass notification system, panic buttons in residence hall front desks, keyboard panic buttons in strategic locations across campuses, as well as a branded app for students with hopes to eventually phase out aged emergency blue light phones.

What I really appreciate about 911 Cellular is how easy and reliable it is. Sending out alerts is simple, and managing the system feels really natural—not overly complicated. It gives us confidence knowing we have a tool we can count on during emergencies. Their support team is also fantastic—quick to respond, patient, and always willing to help. It feels like they truly care about the people using their platform.

Honestly, there’s nothing I dislike. The platform does exactly what we need it to do, and the team behind it makes it even better.

911Cellular helps us quickly communicate during emergencies, which is critical for keeping our students and staff safe. It solves the challenge of reaching large groups fast and accurately—whether it’s for lockdowns, evacuations, or weather alerts. The ability to send targeted messages by location or group really helps us avoid confusion and make sure the right people get the right info. It also gives us a direct connection to first responders if needed, which adds another layer of safety. Overall, it brings peace of mind and helps us act fast when every second counts.

**What do you like best about 911cellular?**

The poroduct is great and does what it says it does. The customer service is even better. They help you take advantage of every feature they offer. They are always looking for new ways for us to leverage their product for better usage at no additional fees. CampusShield was extremely easy to integrate into our existing systems and is easier to use than other products I've seen. New hires are able to easily learn the system an implement the use into daily activities.

I would like more customization in terms of notifications when tips are submitted.

Mass notification, small group notifications, safety app for campus with geolocation.

**What do you like best about 911cellular?**

911cellular provided an alternative option for safety resources to our campus.  Blue Light Phones were becoming antiquated and obsolete, and providing a better solution for our campus's safety communications to stakeholders, and was successful in getting buy-in.

**What do you dislike about 911cellular?**

We haven't tapped into the safety apps mass communication functionality yet but would like to see if this could be supplement to our current mass communications system.

**What problems is 911cellular solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Since the removal of the blue light phones on campus, 911cellular has provided a better solution for reporting emergencies. The app is not only a better and safer option for our campus to report emergencies, but also provides so many other resources that the blue light phones did not.  The app is also way more in line with current technology and culture.

**What do you like best about 911cellular?**

911 Cellular was easily adapted to our school program.  From the start working with the customer support team was a smooth process and integrating with our school's IT department was effortless.  Our school use is limited however everyone is well informed of how to implement the program and having access on mobile devices is essential.  We have been so impressed and happy with the system and feel secure having it on our campus.  Continued training and follow up meetings with the team is great.  We never feel alone.

**What do you dislike about 911cellular?**

This isn't really a dislike towards the organization however more of an obstacle.  911 Cellular isn't used by our school district and getting their support in the onboarding process was difficult.  Ryan H. from 911 Cellular was instrumental in helping support us and educate the district and the local first responders' dispatcher about the product. If it were not for the support provided, I do not believe we would have had such a smooth transition.

**What problems is 911cellular solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This provided a solution to finding the fastest response to on campus emergencies.  The system is portable and available on all of our school devices and for staff to download as well. It is simple and quick to use plus more features continue to be developed which provided an added security.

the portal interface can be hard to navigate but the search feature is an improvement.  I cannot always figure out the relationship between several pieces of a full solution.

I’m happy to hear the search has been helpful. In our latest release (v9.6.0), we added search by first + last name in a single query and will keep refining it.

We also hear that parts of the portal can feel confusing. Recent improvements focus on speed and clarity—like a Refresh button on most data views (no full page reloads) and faster large sessions. We’ve also added bulk security camera uploads and exact Wi-Fi access-point matching for Computer Panic Button.

911 cellular has allowed students to report issues that would otherwise go unreported by providing real time, anonymous options with geo tags and text messages

**What do you dislike about 911cellular?**

It would be awesome if there was some kind of niche or thing that make apps like this one more attractive for teenagers to download it and use it as part of their student experience.

**What problems is 911cellular solving and how is that benefiting you?**

911cellular is offering an alternative option to the old blue light phones that randomly placed in dark parking lots. Students don't need to leave where they are to use it.

It is very user friendly after initial training.  Very easy for staff to trigger an alert for Admin or for Law enforcement. 
 The customer service is very good at US Cellular.  They are very quick to respond to any issues that may arise.

**What do you dislike about 911cellular?**

There is really nothing not to like about US Cellular.  They are affordable for small school districts and very adaptable

It gives us the ability to send out emergency alerts to the corresponding agencies.  It also gives us the ability to alert administration only in case of minor disturbances.

The ability to communicate a message quickly and efficiently across multiple platforms. Customer support is second to none.

**What do you dislike about 911cellular?**

My university relies on stats to justify and evaluate. I dislike that we can't enter a specific time frame and get back results based on those parameters. ie. downloads or tips.

**What problems is 911cellular solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are totally commited to helping us intergrate their system to help activate cameras based on lacating services and access points across our campus.

911 Cellular has been great to work with in implementing our Ayssa's Law Alert system. Their customer service and follow-up have been outstanding since day one. They listen to our requests and customize the platform to serve our school district's varied needs. I am very pleased with the product and company.

For our circumstances, it was a bit of a big lift for one person to do.

They have given our district multiple ways of getting alert notifications out to the school administration teams and local law enforcement agencies as needed.

The interface is easy to use, and the safety app is easy to customize. Some pieces of the app become a little more difficult to understand, but customer service is always available to help you navigate what you need to do.

**What do you dislike about 911cellular?**

It is hard to find a scenario where I would use an emergency workflow.  They push this a lot, but rarely do I want emergency notifications to be automated in any way.

911 Cellular allows us to connect with our remote dispatch and have them send emergency messages for us.

Nothing!  And I'm serious about that.  This company is my favorite company!

The panic buttons we purchased for our agency are perfect for our needs. Representatives are great to work with.

The 911cellular team has been outstanding to work with.  They are extremely responsive anytime we have a question or need.

As with all new systems it has taken us a little while to get everyone on board.  This isn't really a 911cellular issue but an internal one.

We now have a quick way for all of our staff to call for assistance when needed.
