For more than 20 years, Thrive Technologies has provided supply chain planning systems for the wholesale inventory sector. After years of analyzing the results of ERP and supply chain planning systems (including our own), Thrive realized that ERP and supply chain planning systems&#39; inventory quantities relied heavily on assumptions and parameters that were never measured for performance and rarely adjusted. Thrive discovered the two most problematic areas (what we refer to as &quot;blind spots&quot;) are with slow-moving items as well as sudden changes in demand and supply times. Thrive&#39;s analyses also showed that these blind spots are the primary causes of dead stock and lost sales. Thrive also realized that many HVAC wholesalers were reluctant to commit large investments to install a large purchasing system that was disruptive, took 9 months or longer, and required their buyers to learn and use an entirely different system in addition to the ERP. Based on that, Thrive developed patent-pending systems that address your inventory blind spots but don&#39;t require large, expensive, risky software implementation: • Thermostock®: Automatically identify and optimize your low-volume SKUs so your buyers can focus on your high-volume SKUs. Thermostock automatically calculates your optimal Min/Max, marks SKUs not sold in the last 12 months as nonstock, and lowers COGS with its rebalancing module. • Tiltmeter®: Increase the speed at which your existing purchasing system reacts to demand and supply changes with Tiltmeter. Tiltmeter detects significant customer losses and demand swings in as little as 30 days, allowing adjustment to your ERP forecast parameters for improved buying. Tiltmeter also detects lead time changes quicker, allowing more up to date lead times assumptions in your ERP for better purchasing.
