I'm trying to use Workvivo for internal communications, but I'm not sure how to engage my team effectively. Any suggestions?

You can add tag the team member for any important updates. The team will be able to see the update and acknowledge the same by commenting on the post. For internal communications, slack works best with the Workvivo for personally messaging the team members

Since workvivo is so versitile, one of the best ways to engage people is by adding content and info your team needs to know and wants to know. Example classes your company does, recordings and scripts or the classes you post. Especially the scripts you create, share them that way so you can have your members do a Q&A based on the documents or videos you posted. Good Luck!

Don’t over-polish your posts. Write like you’d talk in a meeting — short, friendly, and clear.

[Top tools for building enterprise-wide social networks?](/discussions/top-tools-for-building-enterprise-wide-social-networks)

Hi,

I’m doing this research for a few HR and digital workplace teams that want a true enterprise-wide social layer — not just another messaging tool. I reviewed G2 data in the[](https://www.g2.com/categories/enterprise-social-networking-esn)[**Enterprise Social Networking (ESN) Software**](https://www.g2.com/categories/enterprise-social-networking-esn) category to identify platforms most often used to connect entire organizations. Sharing this here so others can compare notes.

Here are the top tools:

1. [**Workvivo**](https://www.g2.com/products/workvivo/reviews) — Best for building an organization-wide social network with high engagement.
2. [**Guru**](https://www.g2.com/products/guru/reviews) — Best for connecting employees through shared, trusted knowledge.
3. [**DSMN8 – The Employee Advocacy Platform**](https://www.g2.com/products/dsmn8-the-employee-advocacy-platform/reviews) — Best for enterprise-wide networks centered on advocacy and content sharing.
4. [**Simpplr**](https://www.g2.com/products/simpplr/reviews) — Best for structured enterprise social experiences tied to intranets.
5. [**WorkJam**](https://www.g2.com/products/workjam/reviews) — Best for building social networks across frontline-heavy organizations.
6. [**Blink**](https://www.g2.com/products/blink/reviews) — Best for enterprise social networking for deskless workforces.

Anyone using these as their primary enterprise social network? What’s been your experience over time?

What drives adoption more — leadership participation or grassroots employee activity?

[Top ESN solutions for remote work environments?](/discussions/top-esn-solutions-for-remote-work-environments)

Hello,

I’m researching on behalf of a few remote-first and hybrid teams that want a stronger sense of connection without constant meetings. I reviewed G2 rankings in the[](https://www.g2.com/categories/enterprise-social-networking-esn)[**Enterprise Social Networking (ESN) Software**](https://www.g2.com/categories/enterprise-social-networking-esn) category to see which tools are commonly used in distributed environments. Sharing this here to learn how these hold up with remote teams.

Here are the top tools:

1. [**Workvivo**](https://www.g2.com/products/workvivo/reviews) — Best for building culture and connection in remote teams.
2. [**Guru**](https://www.g2.com/products/guru/reviews) — Best for keeping remote teams aligned through shared knowledge.
3. [**DSMN8 – The Employee Advocacy Platform**](https://www.g2.com/products/dsmn8-the-employee-advocacy-platform/reviews) — Best for engaging remote employees through content sharing.
4. [**Simpplr**](https://www.g2.com/products/simpplr/reviews) — Best for remote-friendly intranet and employee communication.
5. [**WorkJam**](https://www.g2.com/products/workjam/reviews) — Best for supporting remote and distributed frontline workers.
6. [**Blink**](https://www.g2.com/products/blink/reviews) — Best for reaching remote employees through mobile-first experiences.

Anyone using these in fully remote or hybrid setups? What’s been your experience?

For remote teams, what matters more — community building or information access?
