What do you like best about Scribble Maps?

Scribble Maps has been one of the best things to happen to us, both as a company & a customer.

Started using Scribble Maps back in Jan 2020 & still using/growing stronger than ever!

Their 13+ years of Customer Feedback & Implementations make their services one of the best & most unique.

Not to mention it's pretty well-rounded/versatile & helps me produce some of the crispest/freshest maps we could ask for.

Various tools are readily available, from importing raw data, creating/managing polygons, heatmaps, parcel data, geocoding & filtering data to visualizing overall sales/production & quickly generate team rotations for specific counties/cities we service.

Additionally we purchased a "pro-basic seat" for our CC Manager & I to develop/maintain a custom map based on various data, for all of our coworkers to use. Ability to share a "viewable custom map" with a search feature & ability for "viewers" to hide/unhide various polygons is ultimately huge. This streamlines things for them & our calendars so much more!

Their Customer Support honestly has been top-notch from the beginning, esp. for being of a somewhat smaller yet upcoming company in a big way. They've always been patient, receptive, think outside the box & always happy to help.

Pro's:

- Simple U.I. & easy to learn.

- Search feature for addresses, zip codes, cities etc. is tool I use almost daily & very convenient, especially on short notice for essential needs.

- Pro-Basic plan is very useful, esp. when producing a simple, crisp & clean map image once you've adjusted/learned how to manipulate zoom levels to your favor.

- Lots of customability & ever changing/upgrading software services. Whether via smaller to big features, visuals or even using some of the custom AI.

Hands down this is one of the best software any business can highly benefit from. Thank you Scribble!

What do you dislike about Scribble Maps?

The most significant challenge/con I face from time to time is the legibility of the street names post creating/saving a map. (highly dependent on map size & your zoom level).

You almost have to "zoom-out" 1 level prior to "saving map image" to Zoom-in more when using "windows photo viewer" to crop the image (zoom in around borders of maps/polygon created).

I only do this to open these maps in Paint 3D & manually label every street within said maps we create to improve production. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Scribble Maps solving and how is that benefiting you?

Ability to create very detailed/clean-looking maps for our Order Generators.

With a multitude of options to "fine tune" & "visualize" data that I work with.

Ranging from sales, counties/cities & zip codes (esp.

Regarding "city limits" & where "canvasser permits" are required. Multiple options to customize how your maps/layers appear.

From Satellite to Hybrid, Road, Terrain, World, and Education + Traffic, "views" are the tip of the iceberg for map customization.

Additionally a "shared" custom map that our coworkers can use to streamline locating logistics via "search address" feature.

What I appreciate most about Scribble Maps is its intuitive interface and versatility. It enables me to easily draw, label, and personalize maps without needing advanced GIS expertise. Thanks so much for using Scribble Maps! We continually strive to improve our performance. However, we thought we would let you know we improved support for CAD files and improved accuracy! It's now easier to import DXF files and you can select the unit they need to be when importing. If you go to UI settings, you can now turn on a new feature called "Preserve True Size" this will help keep sub-centimeter accuracy when moving or copying items on the map.

What I admire most about Scribble Maps is how it transforms a cold, clinical map into a vibrant tapestry of personal expression. Unlike other mapping platforms that box you into stiff, utilitarian designs, Scribble Maps invites me to splash my creativity across the globe—whether I’m tracing an enchanted trail through a mythical woodland for a story I’m crafting or pinpointing obscure eateries with playful notes like “Cosmic Cappuccino HQ.” It feels as though I’m whispering secrets to the Earth, with every marker and stroke weaving my unique journey into the landscape. What do you dislike about Scribble Maps?

What bugs me about Scribble Maps is that the screen can start to look like a messy desk drawer when I’ve added too many markers and drawings. Compared to other mapping apps that keep things neat and tidy, it feels a bit overwhelming at times—like I’ve jotted down a hundred thoughts on a tiny sticky note and now can’t spot the important stuff. Scribble Maps solves the problem of making mapping feel personal and flexible, which is a big help for me. Normally, maps are just static images or rigid apps that don’t let you add your own touch, but with Scribble Maps, I can customize everything. Like, when I’m planning a family hike, I can draw out the trail, mark spots for breaks, and even add little notes about what to bring or watch out for. It’s also great for brainstorming ideas visually—like mapping out a neighbourhood scavenger hunt for my kids and sharing it with other parents. "Handy Tool for Creating and Sharing Custom Maps"

What do you like best about Scribble Maps?

It's simple to get started I didn't need a lot of training to make my first custom map. The interface is straightforward, and i like that you can draw, add notes, and upload data directly onto the map. Setting it up for our projects was quick, and the help resources made it even easier. I use it regularly to outline territories, mark key locations and share visual plans with the team. and Integrating it with our workflow was no trouble at all. Sribble Maps is super easy to use no need to be a GIS expert or designer. I can quickly draw custom routes, mark important locations, and add notes without any hassle. The interface is intuitive, and I love how i can share interactive maps with my team or clients in just a few click. It's especially useful for planning logistics, routes, or presentations where visual clarity matters. and it easy to use user can easily navigate. "A great way to make a personalized map"

What do you like best about Scribble Maps?

The most helpful thing that I love about Scribble Maps is that I can draw, write, and mark up the map however I need to for whatever my purposes are. I can make a circle to show a certain area and then I can put markers around and within that circle highlighting key landmarks. I can easily label these markers so that I don't forget what they are. I love using the line tool to dissect the circle based on the circle's degrees, which I often need to do when making the maps I like to make. It is easy to download a PDF of the map that you make which is great because I like to store my maps on my computer so that I can print them out easily in the future. What do you dislike about Scribble Maps?

I find that some of the tools are not as intuitive as I'd like and I have to watch tutorials to learn how to use them, which increases the time it takes to create certain maps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Such a useful tool"

What do you like best about Scribble Maps?

Back in the day with paper maps, I always enjoyed marking places I'd explored on bike or on foot with a highlighter pen. I'd never found a similar system for online maps till I found this site. I now have maps with whatever background I fancy overlaid with all my explorations Just like in the old days. One colour for hikes. One colour for Classic Bike Rides and another for my Ebike rides.

It's easy to see where my future explorations should be. and as soon as they are done, I download the GPX file from Komoot and upload them as a new overlay. So all the trips are kept separate but I'm able to see them all together. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hi Andy, thank you for your amazing review!

In regards to changing bulk attributes, as of last month, we've made it easier to select and change attributes for multiple overlays at once using our lasso select tool. You can do this through the 3 dots to the right of a folder in the layer panel or by right-clicking on a group of markers that are multi-selected. I have included a help article with more information.
