What bugs me about Scribble Maps is that the screen can start to look like a messy desk drawer when I’ve added too many markers and drawings. Compared to other mapping apps that keep things neat and tidy, it feels a bit overwhelming at times—like I’ve jotted down a hundred thoughts on a tiny sticky note and now can’t spot the important stuff. Normally, maps are just static images or rigid apps that don’t let you add your own touch, but with Scribble Maps, I can customize everything. Like, when I’m planning a family hike, I can draw out the trail, mark spots for breaks, and even add little notes about what to bring or watch out for. It’s also great for brainstorming ideas visually—like mapping out a neighbourhood scavenger hunt for my kids and sharing it with other parents. I appreciate Scribble Maps easy to use interface and flexibility, especially when in comes to graphics. The program has also been easy to integrate and implement and their customer service has been EXTREMELY responsive to my inquiries. For a while I was reaching out almost daily and I've been very impressed there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Scribble Maps? I really, really wish Scribble Maps allowed embeds html from very many services in their item descriptions. So when a object is clicked a window comes up with the option to embed html and apps from other services. Also, I struggle with the storage space allotted, it really isn't enough per paid account for us past a year and the 1500px max size for overlays onto the map isn't big enough for what I'm doing. It needs to be twice that at least, ideally 4-8 times that for overlays onto the background map. Finally, I wish Scribble Maps allowed images embeded in their object/marker descriptions to be clickable for a full screen view. There are also numerous small bugs in the program which I have reported and hopefully they get addressed related to their embed feature to embed the map onto your own website. The features for collaboration are another area that needs enhancement. Even though Scribble Maps allows for collaboration, more advanced and real-time collaboration features would be helpful.
