Need more visuals **Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** August 02, 2021 **What do you like best about Scribble Maps?** The best thing here is that I have unlimited amounts of layers and points of interest - I'm making my own maps of the travel, my routes. I do it to plan new trips for the group, to remake the same trip to a different one. To plan. So I work with it as with the additional instrument of mind outsourcing, of thinking. It's cool that it is still connected to Google Maps, because I can find more points than in projects that are based on a different Maps. **What do you dislike about Scribble Maps?** The interface, the icons, UX, UI - it really needs your attention, I work with it through the visual pain and even returned back to google maps. Also, I need to track directions and timing between the points. I didn't find the product which is suitable for me, for now, it's a lot of different google maps (My Maps) and lots of maps with directions. **Recommendations to others considering Scribble Maps:** Use it, but be ready for old interfaces and visual disappointment **What problems is Scribble Maps solving and how is that benefiting you?** I plan trips for my groups and making new routes for them. **Official Response from Jonathan Wagner:** > Hello, We have great news! we do have a lot of new icons coming. Also in the pipeline we have a marker lab builder which will allow you to build custom markers. In terms of the UI, have you tried the new 2021 themes? We made all themes available to everyone for free, you can find them through the drop down on the first window that pops up or you can find it under settings. Obviously not all themes can make everyone happy and if you still don't like the new themes, you can send us a note on what you don't like about them. ### 4.
