I love how HeyGen allows me to create quick explainer and social media videos without the need to be on camera. The platform is incredibly easy to use, letting me go from a script to a finished video in minutes. It saves me a lot of time since I can't be on camera all the time, and recording can take too long. The avatar quality is amazing, especially with the newer Avatar IV technology, which looks much more natural. I also appreciate all the new features that make video marketing feel like creating a movie. It's a powerful tool for producing professional-looking videos quickly and simply, without being as expensive as others. The multiple language feature is fantastic because I don't need to know a language to create a video in it. The script-to-video speed is great; I can write a 60-second Instagram Reels script and paste it right away. I can create multiple avatars or different looks, and I enjoy the voiceover capability where I can upload my own and HeyGen turns them into a talking head video. The initial setup was very easy, making the experience seamless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I work as a Dietician and Nutritionist, manage a homeopathy clinic, create health education content for social media, and also prepare educational material for online learning. What I like best about Murf.ai is that it helps me create voiceovers for health education content in a simple and organized way. Instead of recording everything manually, I can convert written content into audio and use it for educational videos, awareness content, presentations, and informational material. I was able to create voice content without spending time learning complicated settings. One thing I find useful is the variety of voice options available. Different voices and basic customization controls help make the narration more suitable for different types of health education content and audiences. This is helpful when working on nutrition awareness topics, wellness information, patient guidance, and educational explanations.
Another useful feature is how it handles longer scripts. I often work with detailed health topics that require more explanation, and Murf.ai can generate audio from longer content without making the process difficult. The voice quality is clear, and the narration is suitable for educational and informational content. I also like that script editing, voice selection, audio generation, and export options are available in one place, which keeps the workflow organized.
It is also useful when preparing voiceovers for educational videos and presentation narration. Having audio versions of health content can make information easier to consume for people who prefer listening instead of reading. I do not use it every day, but whenever I need voiceovers or audio content, it helps reduce the time spent on recording and basic editing work. It also fits easily into my existing content creation workflow because the generated audio can be used across different educational formats. Overall, Murf.ai helps me create health education voiceovers, informational audio content, and presentation narration in a faster and more efficient way while keeping the process simple and easy to manage. Adobe Audition is a professional digital audio workstation designed for creating, mixing, editing, and restoring audio content. It offers a comprehensive toolset that includes

It is comprehensive and allows me to edit podcast and music files (both fo audio only and for video) with full control over my clips. The interface - while it has tons of tools and can at first look overwhelming - is intuitive and easy to learn, and visually makes it easy to edit clips. It also communicates will with the other Adobe Create Cloud apps that I use like Premiere Pro.
I can fix audio issues on my clips with ease, accuracy, and no one will know that the clip is even edited! Performance is second-to-none as far as I'm concerned. There is nothing left "wanting" in terms of what's on the market to mix and edit audio.
I use this mainly to edit podcasts, as well as to fix sound on video recordings of our school's concerts. I have occasionally used it to fix or enhance audio on other videos (more dialogue based as necessary) when Premiere Pro doesn't have enough audio capabilities.

I use AutoCut for the edit bucket, which speeds up my time and makes me more efficient in getting projects done. It does all the cutting for me, so I don't have to meticulously do the multi-camera shake or camera angle changes, and I don't have to manually put in zoom ins and zoom outs. It pretty much does everything on auto, including adding B-roll, which saves me time as I can do tasks now with just the push of a button. The features like camera angle changes and zoom functions keep the viewer engaged by ensuring constant movement in the video. Ableton makes Live, Push & Link software and hardware for writing, recording and performing music.

I’ve been using Ableton Live Suite for electronic music production and sound design, and the biggest strength for me is the workflow speed and flexibility. The rack system makes it easy to build reusable effect chains, save presets, and experiment quickly without breaking creative flow. I also like Session View and the smooth integration with VST plugins and Max for Live devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Audacity is a free, open-source, multi-track audio editor and recorder available for Windows, macOS, GNU/Linux, and other operating systems. Since its initial release in 2000,

Audacity changed my understanding of mastering because of the number of its functions. Of course, sound mastering as I knew it had tools and devices that hardly anyone did allow themselves. By the way, the first experiments with mastering and sound producing were in times when there were no computers in every home, but there was a need to record myself as an MC.
Since Audacity came, it is easier to make. Its functions include recording when there are sound inputs from the internal source, like a microphone. The first track covers the next ones, consequently, to give a mix. If the project includes additional sound effects, the producer finds it in the library, which contains dozens of filters. The upper drop-down menus are a way that users know to be close with.
Audacity suggests operations with soundtracks to create projects: analyze the frequencies, create graphics, cut and merge tracks, use extra effects, and create macros. The complete project is ready to use in podcasts, making sound presents, and accompanying group meetings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use Avid Pro Tools for music production and commercials for radio and TV because it's perfect for mixing, composing, recording, and mastering. I love how editing and recording are a breeze; you can just set the input and start—whether it's single or multi-track. Editing is super simple with tools like slice, cut, move, stretch, and using Elastic Audio makes it smooth. The pitch correction is great, and consolidating audio to minimize session size is efficient. Committing plugins to your track is so seamless. I’ve been using Pro Tools since version 6, and it just keeps getting better with each update. Pro Tools is my go-to for live recording because it feels so natural, like working with the board and tape. I was initially unfamiliar with computers, but once I learned the Pro Tools shortcuts, working became second nature, and now I don’t even have to look at the keyboard. It's the official DAW for me, and I'd rate my likelihood to recommend it as a 20 out of 10! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

REAPER is a complete digital audio production application for Windows and OS X, offering a full multitrack audio and MIDI recording, editing, processing, mixing and mastering

Reaper was one of the first software that I started using as a student. As time went on and my business started to scale up, I was able to switch to a commercial license. The best thing about Reaper is that there are no limitations placed on anyone using the software for the first time. All installations come with a 60 day evaluation license that does not limit the software even after the time period is over. The folks at Cockos even offer a discounted license for students that is a fraction of the cost you would pay for a full copy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
