It streamlines the entire (overwhelming) podcast recording, editing, scheduling, posting etc experience. I can get EVERYTHING I need from auto transcriptions, on screen captions, tons of multi-platform shortform generative clips (perfect for Reels/Tiktok + Shorts, etc). Lots of editing tools. Some of the more advanced features are locked behind higher-tier plans, which might feel a bit limiting if you’re just starting out. Occasionally, I still need to make minor edits to get the tone exactly right, especially for very conversational scripts but that’s expected with AI and has been improving steadily. Murf has completely removed the friction from voiceover creation. I no longer worry about mic quality, background noise, or re-recording lines multiple times. As someone working with data models, Azure environments, and AI agents, I would appreciate deeper integrations with data sources or APIs. It would be ideal to dynamically connect dashboards or model outputs directly into video generation workflows. HeyGen solves the scalability problem in knowledge communication. I'm a solopreneur, who also works a full-time job. I started publishing two episodes a week for my podcast in 2024 and didn't want to pay my editor to edit these second shorter episodes--Async lets me easily edit my podcasts and downloading the transcripts enables me to create show notes very easily. Unlike After Effects, Adobe Audition doesn’t let you organize your files into separate folders. It would be extremely helpful to have the option to create folders within a project—for example, dedicated folders for voice-overs, sound effects, sequences, and any other elements you’re working with—so everything stays organized while you build a project. Adobe Audition gives me a level of control over my projects that has helped me develop a workflow where I can work faster and more efficiently. I do not really like mixing vocals take a lot more time than it would in Pro Tools, like their reverb plugins aren't necessarily the best. I wholeheartedly believe Logic is better for making beats and doing the overlay of producing something. But that's just me because I have seen people master songs in Logic with vocals in less than 30 minutes. But I feel the Reverb could be better and the mixing process with vocals shouldn't be so tedious. But making beats? Oh, Logic can do no wrong in my humble opinion. Out of all the DAWs with that I have to go with Logic. But I humbly feel its not the best for mixing vocals. I actually had to get plugins to mix my vocals in it better. It has helped me be able to easily find my love for beat making. Bringing songs to life that are in my head even without live instruments and using to create songs. As I said in 2016 when I first started using it in college me and Logic was inseparable. It still is more than ever because when after using Bootcamp on my Mac and it messed up my computer settings to bounce in Pro Tools. Sporadically, the result is not the same as what you expected, e.g., some noise appears in the track, making it sound like an old gramophone's sound. When I was making a musical greeting for my parents' wedding anniversary, it was so. But this effect may be a benefit if you intend to create a nostalgic mood. Sometimes, while i am in different location where i don't have my professional accesories to record audio i have to record with my average earphones. It is really difficult to find a missing feature with SoundForge, mainly Pro version. Yet, it is worth landing on for professionals. It needs a sturdy system, the more RAM chips or rates the better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It dramatically reduces time to edit my multicam podcast. I can essentially take my footage, run it through the auto cut podcast portion, and be publishing within 15 minutes. I already have quite a bit of experience with Ableton Live. Perhaps something that is a bit uncomfortable is sometimes the level of latency live because it demands a lot of RAM on not-so-modern equipment. I have been using it for many years and, in addition to other DAWs, it remains my favorite because you can produce and create Live Sets with great speed and professionalism. The vast majority of DAWs on the market specialize in just one part of the industry. Ableton allows you to expand to more levels of creativity and performance all in one. One of the least likeable things about Power Sound Editor is its outdated user interface which can be confusing and difficult to navigate for some users. I realized a very serious challenge when I started using the software on Desktop Computers.

There was a time that power was suddenly interrupted which made the computer abruptly shut off.

By the time I switched it on and loaded my Project, Studio One says the file is corrupt, so I couldn't load the project again and it has happened consistently. So I'm now careful to use the UPS and backup my project regularly. That has been my major challenge with Studio One. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The UI probably seems a little outdated, but that's really just a style thing. It's not an issue in terms of usability, just looks a little dated. Also, even though I can open any ridiculous number of audio files for editing at the same time, there doesn't seem to be a way to apply the same action or tool to more than one of them at a time. Ideally, I'd be able to apply a tool like Noise Reduction to every file I have open (or at least selected files). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When I record live voice narration for use in tutorial videos, I need an easy and effective noise reduction tool to clean up the audio from my live mic. I can't afford an expensive sound stage with acoustic treatment covering the walls and whatnot; I just have a desktop pro mic, a reflexion filter, and a pop filter. So I still get some background noise (e.g., from my desktop computer, which has plenty of cooling for the video rendering hardware). GoldWave lets me clean up all that noise so you don't hear the room or any background sounds (within reason). Using the Noise Reduction tool I can clean that stuff up with about three clicks. My biggest issues with Pro Tools is the iLok verification, it was more of an issue in the past but now that iLok has its own license manager for the computer its way better than buying the dongles. My other complaint would organizing and removing plugins. You may download a trial, or subscribe the a package for a month, but when they are no longer active, they still clog up your menus.
