AudioShake helps us create lyric videos faster by providing accurate lyrics and word-level timing through the API. We can build that directly into our workflow without developing our own transcription system. I used HeyGen and its free HyperFrames for faceless YouTube creation. It is supposed to be simple to use with an agent, but the UI changes constantly and the avatar results add unnecessary gestures. I lost count of how many times I had to reconnect HyperFrames, and it took hours to generate a simple motion graphic. The output often had crooked line charts and graphs that I could not use. For programmatic motion graphics, an open-source option like Remotion (remotion-dev/remotion on GitHub) run through Claude Code is free, takes a fraction of the time, and is much faster to edit. HeyGen solves the problem of appearing on camera without filming. The digital twin lets me produce presenter videos without recording sessions, which saves time. For faceless YouTube content with charts and motion graphics, it did not save time. I spent hours per simple graphic and still had to fix the results, so I moved that part of my workflow to Remotion with Claude Code, where I can generate and edit faster at no cost. One small thing I noticed is that with certain health-related terms or educational content, I occasionally review the pronunciation to make sure it matches the style I want. This does not happen often, but it can come up when working with more detailed or specialized topics.

I also feel that a little more flexibility in managing longer narrations could make content preparation even smoother. I'm a solopreneur, who also works a full-time job. I started publishing two episodes a week for my podcast in 2024 and didn't want to pay my editor to edit these second shorter episodes--Async lets me easily edit my podcasts and downloading the transcripts enables me to create show notes very easily. previously i have seen volume control knob in older versions but now for the newer version that knob was disabled and not appears in the ui. sometimes when we increase bit rate for audio output it takes more time that expected and sometimes the software lags during exporting. And when i export the audio in .mp3 format the audio quality is not getting as expected until we export it in .wav format. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

FL Studio simplifies music production by providing all the tools needed for composing, recording, editing, and mixing music in one place. This helps me create professional-quality audio projects more efficiently and express my creativity with ease and i can easily increase r decrease my audio tempo according to the rhythm. I do think it could do a little better on the AI side, and I wish there was a built-in transcripting feature. That would add great value to this product. As it is, I use Descript to transcribe and text-edit my audio. If Audition had transcripting and the ability to edit audio by editing the transcript, that would be more helpful for me.

Audition can sometimes feel like a little "too much" for my uses, as I'm not creating albums or mixing complicated music very often, so sometimes I think I'm not getting the value out of it that many others who do music mixing regularly would get. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The main thing is that it can't accept .aif files, which is really weird and at times cumbersome. I have not found easily accessible integrations with Adobe Premiere which would be nice, and so I just use the website. It desperately needs dark mode, so I'm not blinded every time I log in. I wish stacking plugins was a bit easier. Sometimes when I stack plugins like reverb and delay with amp sims, one or two of the plugins aren't recognized. Logic Pro X is a seamless DAW, more efficient than Reaper, letting me add more tracks without lag. It's easy to use and offers a plethora of amp and cab sims for trying different sounds. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One area that could be improved is the pricing for users outside the US. Since the subscription is charged in US dollars, the cost can be relatively high for users in Brazil, especially when maintaining a subscription over a longer period.

Autocut solves one of the biggest challenges in video editing: the amount of time spent on repetitive manual tasks. It significantly reduces the time needed for processes such as cutting silences, creating J cuts, and adding automatic zooms.

It is really difficult to find a missing feature with SoundForge, mainly Pro version. Yet, it is worth landing on for professionals. It needs a sturdy system, the more RAM chips or rates the better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The piano roll and MIDI editing can still feel a bit clunky for detailed composition work compared to some other DAWs. Live 12’s built-in stem separation is useful for quick remixing and idea generation, but the quality is still inconsistent for professional use. Before Ableton, I struggled to turn ideas into finished tracks quickly because other DAWs felt more rigid and slowed down experimentation. Ableton made the workflow much faster through Session View, reusable racks, templates, and strong plugin integration. One of the least likeable things about Power Sound Editor is its outdated user interface which can be confusing and difficult to navigate for some users. Additionally, some users have reported that the software is prone to crashing and can be unstable at times. The production requires extra attention to input materials' quality as well as extra noises, which interfere with the result. In this case, the sound, like from an old gramophone, is guaranteed. The UI probably seems a little outdated, but that's really just a style thing. It's not an issue in terms of usability, just looks a little dated. Also, even though I can open any ridiculous number of audio files for editing at the same time, there doesn't seem to be a way to apply the same action or tool to more than one of them at a time. Ideally, I'd be able to apply a tool like Noise Reduction to every file I have open (or at least selected files). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When I record live voice narration for use in tutorial videos, I need an easy and effective noise reduction tool to clean up the audio from my live mic. I can't afford an expensive sound stage with acoustic treatment covering the walls and whatnot; I just have a desktop pro mic, a reflexion filter, and a pop filter. So I still get some background noise (e.g., from my desktop computer, which has plenty of cooling for the video rendering hardware). GoldWave lets me clean up all that noise so you don't hear the room or any background sounds (within reason). Using the Noise Reduction tool I can clean that stuff up with about three clicks. The resulting audio files sound much crisper, cleaner, and more ... direct. I bought my license GoldWave license some time ago, and it's well worth it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I realized a very serious challenge when I started using the software on Desktop Computers.

There was a time that power was suddenly interrupted which made the computer abruptly shut off.

By the time I switched it on and loaded my Project, Studio One says the file is corrupt, so I couldn't load the project again and it has happened consistently. So I'm now careful to use the UPS and backup my project regularly. That has been my major challenge with Studio One. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
