Zoho Sprints Reviews & Product Details

I love Zoho Sprints for its intuitive UI and various customization features like adding custom statuses and components based on my team's needs. It helps me track all the tasks and stories based on assignee as well as task status like in progress, done, etc. I appreciate that I can create and add custom statuses like grooming and dev testing, which gives better stepwise clarity on each task. Additionally, adding custom fields like QA owner allows anyone checking a tech ticket to know who the QA owner is. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This product stands out as very good when compared to its competitors. I find it extremely easy to use, and the customer support has been excellent. Limitations

1) You can not define multiple boards specially between Dev and QA

1.1) WorkFlow( States and transitions) for their ticket are different . We can collapse or hide states that are not relevant. Using custom filters it is possible to define views of board relevant to each smaller teams (POD team) or departments (Dev, QA, Deployment) but we can not show status relevant to them alone

1.2) Example :

1.2.1)QA Tickets have separate type and status namely To Do, QAPrep, InProgress,WaitingForNextRound,Done

1.2.2) DevTickets have state ToDo,InProgress,On-Hold,ReadyForReview,ReadyForQA,QA_InProgress,QA_Checked,ReadyForDeployment,Deployed

1.3) Burndown chart for POD team/QA team in addition to overall Project Burndown

2) Ability to show linked tickets in card (Critical for QA tickets)

3) Ready made samples to explore power of automation

4) Ready made samples for Zoho Flow

5) Import documentation can be improved with regards to Read-only fields, User fields, Computed fields

5.1) Non availability of import logs ( ex: progress, reasons for failure)

I feel bad because this review won't be as robust as my first one that I didn't save. This product is amazing. It is simple to use, while still offering customization and flexibility of JIRA. It isn't overly complex to manage like JIRA with admin panels on top of admin panels. It was really quick to setup and build cards, projects, epics, and releases. There are a few UX choices that are hard to get past such as navigating through stories and tickets. It feels a bit clunky to click through and then return to the original story. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
