**What do you like best about Yext?**

The Yext platform is transparent about what's it's doing for every user. I can see what platforms my data is reaching and where the gaps are that i need to fix. I love that it is constantly evolving and getting better as a product and as UX for it's users. I believe it's the best on the market for pages and listings as it has the biggest reach of publishers. Having first access to newer Google and Apple features is also a huge bonus

**What do you dislike about Yext?**

The support you get through Yext is incredible, however, i have issues with the ticketing system. Although i appreciate it makes every issue streamlined for a quick response, the tickets can be hard to follow and easy to miss updates. It's unclear who is looped into the ticket so i don't know if i have to notify other people or if they are also in the ticket. 

As someone who works across multiple clients, I have around 20 different log ins which i use. My dream is to have one central log in where i can access all my clients

**What problems is Yext solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clients being able to house their data in one place and reach hundreds of platforms. It's not something we can do as an agency or clients can do themselves. 
Account managers pull together really detailed business reviews with comparative data from their other clients. This benefits me greatly as it showcases our relationships to clients

**What do you like best about Yext?**

The power of the overall suite has allowed location-specific work to achieve greater success for our customers. The flexibility of our Pages instance, for example, allows us to be quite active at supporting the customer locations while also giving benefit to our Brands across the web.

**What do you dislike about Yext?**

I don't think it's a fault of Yext per se, but our use case is not as conventional as many of the Yext clients as we don't own the locations we support with the platform. These are customer locations, 3rd parties, and this is more of a distributor model so we don't have access to things like Google Business Profiles to really take advantage of the full suite of services. 

The reporting can be a bit tricky to manage for end users, but our service team has been great at helping that out.

**What problems is Yext solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have key consumer brands that we want to make the public aware of, but our customers are the point of purchase. We needed a way to elevate these brands in search alongside our customers as both a B2C activity but also as a B2B performance driver to build greater engagement with our network. The Yext Pages in particular have given us the capability to bring the local search authority of our customers along side the national brand authority we have to drive greater consumer access to these products and the point of sale.

**What do you like best about Yext?**

I like the simplicity of Yext, as it allows me to manage everything in one place instead of using multiple vendors. The help videos Yext provides are really great because they let me solve problems on my own and work independently when I need to. I also appreciate how using Yext helps keep all our Google listings up to date, which is really helpful. The initial setup was pretty easy too, thanks to the assistance of a knowledgeable representative.

**What do you dislike about Yext?**

Definitely, the help center, I would say. We go through many different project managers with Yext. You guys have a big turnover, I feel like, with it. And we don't always get the answers that we're looking for in a timely way. Sometimes it you know, it's many days or weeks or we have support tickets open for a longer period of time, and you know, we need answers right away. And, sometimes the team just doesn't have the answers for us and that's hard to go back to our ops team and share with them that you know, paying for services and yet sometimes we don't have the right tools to get us what we need.

**What problems is Yext solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Yext consolidates our data and simplifies management. It solves the problem of dealing with multiple vendors. We centralize our Google listings and data, which keeps everything in one place, enhancing efficiency.

Yext has transformed the way we manage our business listings. The platform's ability to consolidate all of our listings into one centralized location is a game-changer, saving us time and ensuring consistency across platforms. Their customer service is also great. Every interaction I've had with their team has been helpful, and they are quick to respond.

The platform is very feature-rich, which is part of what makes it so effective. However, this comes with a learning curve. It takes time to get fully comfortable with everything Yext offers.

**What do you like best about Yext?**

The best location management tool in the world which makes it possible to distribute local store information to all most important publishers. This tool takes you soo much work out of your hands, you can't imagine to manage your brand in the country or worldwide. Also you're able to create all kinds of automations easily to other tools that need local info real-time or sync your event data from Yext to your website in real-time.

**What do you dislike about Yext?**

The costs to use this tool are a bit high, especially when you have a lot of retail stores and it will take you resources to manage all details of store constantly.

Distributing all neccesary local store information to all important online publishers of store info like Google, Apple, Yelp, but also local providers are massively available.

I really like the convenience and time savings Yext provides. Being able to update business information once and have it automatically sync across multiple platforms makes managing listings much more efficient. It helps ensure consistent information across directories, which makes it easier for customers to find the business. I found the initial setup to be pretty easy as well.

Overall the platform is very useful, but sometimes listings update take longer than expected to sync. So syncing speed and user experience would make it even better.

**What do you like best about Yext?**

I like having all reviews in one place with Yext, as it helps us gather Yelp and Google reviews on one platform and view review ratings and percentages for each location easily. The AI-generated reviews feature is also helpful, especially when we have several reviews to reply to, as it can become repetitive responding to each one. It modifies responses and gives character to each individual review, which boosts efficiency. Plus, the initial setup of Yext was very easy and straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Yext?**

Having new reviews automatically pop up or receive a pop-up notification when a new review comes in is something I wish Yext would do. I have to continuously refresh our Yext page to view new reviews. Sometimes the reviews don't populate until a day or two later, even though they show up in Google in real time.

I use Yext to gather Yelp and Google reviews on one platform, making it easier to see review ratings for each location. The AI-generated reviews help craft unique responses efficiently, saving time and adding character.

**What do you like best about Yext?**

I like that I can update my business hours once and it will update everywhere. I also appreciate being able to give access to my staff without having to add and remove them from each platform. Additionally, I find it convenient that Yext is integrated with my website, allowing me to add or remove coaches in Yext and have them appear or disappear on my section of the website.

**What do you dislike about Yext?**

It's not so much a Yext issue as a permissions issue. Some items are locked for editing by my franchisor, which is super frustrating. There's also the issue of updating Apple Maps. Yext is constantly having a syncing issue. I've updated my business hours in Yext and tried to sync to Apple Maps, but it constantly shows an error, so despite being open for over a year, Apple Maps still lists us as coming soon.

Yext helps me manage my business listings and update my staff bios efficiently by disseminating information to all listings at once. I can update business hours universally and grant update access to my staff, which is convenient.

**What do you like best about Yext?**

Yext offers strong analytics reports that let us compare our listings’ growth over the years. I also like being able to build custom reports based on what we need. It’s easy to schedule listing updates and keep an eye on incoming reviews across all of our locations. Since we have 80+ offices, Yext helps us keep our Facebook, Google, and Yelp pages accurate and up to date.

**What do you dislike about Yext?**

There’s no option to create or manage LinkedIn Pages for different locations.

**What problems is Yext solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It saves us time by letting us update multiple listings across different locations in one place. It also helps us stay on top of any negative reviews as they come in, thanks to the review monitoring feature.

**What do you like best about Yext?**

YEXT has a very comprehensive feature set that is applicable to important functions for businesses of all kinds.

Whether healthcare facilities, international brands, or small retail businesses with a manageable number of locations, YEXT is easy to use after a short training and familiarization period, thanks to its clear UI.

Synchronizing entities works quickly, and the listing directory immediately indicates if there is a problem on Google's side and how it can be resolved. Batch imports of large amounts of data with many changes or many new entities also work well.

In terms of pricing, YEXT is one of the most cost-intensive providers, which is justifiable due to the aforementioned feature set. There are smaller providers that are more cost-effective, but they cannot be used for healthcare facilities, for example, because no alternative practitioners can be set up there.

Regarding AI at YEXT, I can't say much, as currently no AI features are in use for our company.

**What do you dislike about Yext?**

The promotion of internal employees of the respective contracting companies could be better. It is mostly referred to the Hitchhiker Forum, where help articles can be browsed. Personalized support and training offers from YEXT or licensed partner agencies would be helpful.

**What problems is Yext solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Contact requests to YEXT Support are handled in a structured manner and processed by competent staff. These requests mainly concern duplicate listings that have been mistakenly blocked by Google, even though they are not duplicates.

**What do you like best about Yext?**

I like how Yext manages a high volume searches a month on our website, allowing customers to find answers to their questions easily without having to call or chat with us. This makes our website the first point of contact for customers seeking information. The Yext FAQs efficiently solve queries like 'How do I change my address?' or 'How do I dispute a transaction?' I also appreciate the branch locator functionality and its integration with Google, which enhances our visibility and makes our branches more searchable. The interface is user-friendly and it's easy to update information, which was a significant improvement over our previous solution. The initial setup of Yext was incredibly smooth, thanks to a dedicated account manager, development support, and the Hitchhikers guide, which made the process really simple.

**What do you dislike about Yext?**

The only thing I would say that could be a slight improvement on the search side is a more customizable dashboard for search. The reporting tools are quite tricky sometimes to pull out the information you want on specific searches. And the other thing I've seen on other tools that would be quite good is some form of clustering report, where you can cluster search terms based on topics and then see trends.

**What do you like best about Yext?**

I think Yext is really easy to use, and it's nice that it manages other vendors for me. I only have to manage one vendor, which is Yext, instead of worrying about Google, Apple, Waze, Bing, and Yelp individually. I just need to ensure the Yext information is correct from my end, and then I'm good. Yext saves me a lot of time by automatically updating all of my company's online listings and ensuring they have the correct information, like hours and days they're open, menu items, addresses, phone numbers, etc. It's like a centralized way to keep everything up-to-date, and that's really helpful. Whenever something is incorrect, I don't have to worry about contacting Google because Yext handles it on my behalf, thanks to their relationship with them, which is really valuable.

**What do you like best about Yext?**

I use Yext to monitor all of our Map/Directory listings for our 150+ locations, and we consider it essential software. I appreciate that Yext allows us to standardize and keep track of our listings efficiently. What I like most is the speed; I can bring a new branch online within the same day. The Sync functionality is particularly valuable since it allows me to push corrections or updates within minutes. Within the Listings service, I have zero complaints as everything works great. Even though I wasn't there for the initial setup, I found it easy to learn using the original person's notes.

**What do you dislike about Yext?**

We test piloted a couple other Yext services but they ended up not being the right price or fit for us. Specifically, we thought the Reviews tracking service was expensive. We also weren't convinced that AI monitoring would have the appropriate level of human connection.

**What problems is Yext solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Yext is essential for standardizing and tracking our 150+ location listings. I appreciate its speed, allowing new branches online the same day, and the Sync feature for quick updates.

**What do you like best about Yext?**

I find Yext incredibly convenient and straightforward to use. It’s a big time-saver for me as it updates all my listings at once, so I only have to enter the data once. I also appreciate that it allows multiple users within our organization to have different levels of access for updating our data.

**What do you dislike about Yext?**

We have trouble getting a response from our sales support team in a timely manner. We have also had repeated support issues that have taken longer than acceptable to fix. The price is also high considering the lack of direct support we have received during the course of our relationship with Yext. The initial setup was a little difficult; there wasn't a lot of clarity/support on the process, especially with linking accounts and verifications.

I use Yext to manage map listings for over 200 locations and handle Google reviews. It saves me time by updating all my listings at once and allows multiple users in our organization to have controlled access.

I appreciate that Yext is one of the strongest and oldest vendors in the business, with a hospitality publisher network that rivals most competitors. It's also great to receive close support from our Customer Success Manager, managed services, and support team. The hotel-focused integrations ensure our properties' amenities, policies, and brand content are distributed accurately, reducing gaps between brand intent and guest experience. The support team knows our business model well, and we can tap into benchmarking data to understand industry trends.

**What do you dislike about Yext?**

In my opinion, the Yext platform and reporting technology could use modernization. When previewing other vendors, the user interface was often more advanced than Yext's platform and simplified the daily tasks of SEO Managers. We lean on Yext heavily for their support team and publisher network, but would really like to see an overhaul to the platform experience.

Yext manages accurate, brand-consistent hotel data across thousands of IHG properties, supporting local SEO and closing visibility gaps. It acts as a single source of truth, improving booking and loyalty outcomes by keeping attributes current at scale.

**What do you like best about Yext?**

I like the customer service at Yext. The customer service team is very prompt and easy to work with. Whenever I have a problem, even if it's not directly related to Yext but maybe connected to Google, the Yext team is always happy to jump in, help, and give me a recommendation on how to fix it. Additionally, I find that using templates is very helpful. Once you have a proper template set up, populating all of the information is very straightforward and doesn't take much time.

**What do you dislike about Yext?**

I don't wanna say that this doesn't work well for me. I just don't prefer to use it. And that is reviews. I use reviews elsewhere. I use a platform called Podium. It just integrates more seamlessly with our internal processes so I gather reviews that way. Versus gathering them through Yext.

Yext ensures our stores have correct hours and seasonal descriptions on Google, keeping our listings updated.

**What do you like best about Yext?**

I love the notifications and reports Yext provides. The enhanced help desk is a lifesaver, and the onboarding and implementation team were terrific. Keeping track of reviews, sentiment, and complaints is so much easier now. I like the balance between control and automation. The initial setup was a breeze, and our main contact before implementation, Micah, was fantastic and really sells the company just by being a great guy. Our implementation and help staff were really helpful too.

I really like the ability to preplan and set up my postings out days, weeks and months and be able to go back and see what I have set-up for the week as well as be able to categorize by location as some locations will need different types and times of marketing than others.  This makes sure I have a good balance for each location.

I do wish I could somehow duplicate a post that I have made and just make minor changes.  At least for how our company uses it, I am unable to copy a post and repost it for another location unless I start completely from scratch again. This increases chances for inaccuracies as well as time used. I know you can post the same post to multiple locations, however the hashtags for each location are different and if I am mentioning a site address in the post then I can't use that feature as the information would be incorrect.

It does offer a lot of ways to track different metrics.  Previously having to go to each site and pull information and here it collects data and allows me to quickly see what type of media is performing the best and what is not worth doing again. I really like how the support team is always super responsive. Scout has been an interesting feature because it's the only tool we have that gives us insights on our listings on AI platforms. Yext has been helpful overall.

**What do you dislike about Yext?**

VERY COMPLICATED. learning curve is too high and there is zero support. My brand was onboarded VERY poorly. Half of our locations don't even have an online ordering link entered into the entity. Nearly everything is BLANK. We only use a fraction of the potential. So why pay for it? You don't care if we are using the systems to their fullest. You got the monthly contract so who cares after that. Completely unethical. I'm already in discussions with Chatmeter to potentially move my business. I've been asking for a higher level of support for a year and we have not received it.  Absolutely nothing proactive on your side at all to point out how we can use your systems better. It's an expectation that we learn YOUR system on our own and the reality for most businesses is that we do not have the resources to learn something so vast and complicated as intimately as we pay for.

**What problems is Yext solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Yext marginally helps with listing management and does a good job at review response. Benefit is AI is doing review responses and I have less resources to deploy to that as a result.

I find it problematic that Yext shows me all instructor bios across all IL locations instead of just our Chicago locations.

I like how easy it is to manage listings and locations with Yext. We use it to manage citations of our 35+ locations in one place, and it simplifies handling multiple citations by allowing updates in one location. The initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Yext?**

Their customer support takes forever to respond, their interface is janky, and they hold your listings and citations hostage if you ever leave they all get deleted which tanks your SEO, they are also extremely expensive.

I use Yext to manage multiple citations from one place, simplifying updates for 35+ locations. It's easy to handle listings and locations using it.

I like the layout of information in Yext, as it makes it quick to update. I also appreciate the good support from the Yext team when I raise a ticket.

I find the ease of personalizing the platform needs more development work. I'd like to be able to go in and more easily change a font color, add an image, change the layout of the homepage, etc. Some of it feels restricted or too difficult to do.

I use Yext to surface internal processes, policies, how-to guides, FAQs, and training documents. The layout makes information easy to update, and there is good support from the Yext team.

I think when updating the website such as adding links, photos, etc. could be a bit more intuitive. The website is confusing and there are too many limits on what you can/cannot do (i.e. font, color, etc.).

I use Yext to update my financial advisor's website, navigating content like uploading photos and rearranging content. However, updating the website could be more intuitive. The limits on customization, such as fonts and colors, and the confusing interface are downsides.

**What do you like best about Yext?**

Easily being able to manage Google listings for my bank, including locations and mortgage lenders. The fields are very straightforward and easy to manage. It seems very simple to add keywords to my listings - For example, if a lender gets married, we have the capability to go in there and update the last name. We also have branches opening and closing as a bank, so going and changing addresses or deleting them all together is not difficult at all. Yext helps out a lot with our Bank's SEO.

I am a newer user, so I am still familiarizing myself with the platform and learning best tips and tricks

**What problems is Yext solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Potential bank customers being able to search for mortgage lenders in our area are able to put a face with a name for a more seemingly personalized approach to a loan.
