"Great Platform"

What do you like best?

Oustanding API! Detailed, very intuitive and I love that it's in XML which is much easier to work with and read than JSON in my opinion. Tech support was very helpful and response as well for integration.

What do you dislike?

The UI portal could use a refresh, but I like how it allows you to track transactions by a common order ID for reconciliation. AVS/CVV reporting could be improved, it's not always accurate, eg. sometimes if a street address is incorrect a card will decline, yet the AVS result is 'OK'.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Yapstone has been a tremendous help for our business--reliable processing, no downtime to speak of, and helpful support. It's been a system we can count on to help grow our business.

"... sensitive to the vacation rental industry's needs."

What do you like best?

It adds insult to injury when a guest has to be refunded, but Yapstone removes some of the sting with net billing.

What do you dislike?

*It takes too long to set up an account with Yapstone.

*I don't like it that Yapstone does not require the CVV code because this is the only way a reservationist knows that the booker on the phone has the card in their hand.

*Yapstone needs to continue to develop a reverse ACH process for making payments from a management company to their owners.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Net billing is important.

Yapstone's tokenization is easier and this makes the transactions go a little faster.

"Simple, Easy Card Processing"

What do you like best?

Net Returns, No middle ware (gateway) required, fast direct communication with Yapstone servers. Yapstone offers an easy to use portal for merchants to review their card charges

What do you dislike?

Tokenization of card data does not include CVV number or any sort of card verification. So if you tokenize a card for later use there is no benefit of the CVV data to verify the customer has the card in their hand. Of this is with card not present transactions.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Yapstone provides reasonable card processing rates and doesn't require some sort of gateway software installed on your network. Not having to have a gateway software to process transactions makes it easy to make our software more portable and still be able to process credit cards.

"Great Customer Service and easy to use interface"

What do you like best?

The interface was fairly easy to use as well as the availability of Customer Service

What do you dislike?

Sometimes it was difficult to get the customer service on the phone- but when you did they were great

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We were solving issues with the payment processing portion of the website I was working for. It was beneficial to have a payment processing company take care of the fees and ensure the customers using the site that their money was protected through a certified company.
