# What is the best vulnerability scanning tool for enterprise IT teams?

<p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Looking for some input here. I’m curious which <a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/categories/vulnerability-scanner">vulnerability scanners </a>actually deliver the best mix of coverage, usability, and integration.</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">From the G2 Grid, here are some of the top names I found:</p><ul>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/wiz-wiz/reviews"><strong>Wiz</strong></a><strong>:</strong> High satisfaction scores, cloud-native, and built for large-scale enterprise environments. Strong visibility across cloud workloads.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/orca-security/reviews"><strong>Orca Security</strong></a><strong>:</strong> Agentless cloud security platform, good for teams that want fast deployment and wide coverage without heavy setup.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/tenable-nessus/reviews"><strong>Tenable Nessus</strong></a><strong>:</strong> A long-time standard in vulnerability scanning with broad coverage, though some reviews say it can feel dated compared to newer players.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/hackerone-hackerone-platform/reviews"><strong>HackerOne Platform</strong></a><strong>:</strong> More focused on crowdsourced security testing/bug bounties than traditional automated scanning, but useful for complementing scanners.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/external_clickthroughs/record?secure%5Bcategory_id%5D=1423&amp;secure%5Bmedium%5D=sponsored&amp;secure%5Bplacement_reason%5D=page_category&amp;secure%5Bplacement_resource_ids%5D%5B%5D=1423&amp;secure%5Bproduct_id%5D=31923&amp;secure%5Bresource_id%5D=1423&amp;secure%5Bresource_type%5D=Category&amp;secure%5Bsource_type%5D=category_page&amp;secure%5Bsource_url%5D=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.g2.com%2Fcategories%2Fvulnerability-scanner%2Fad%3Ffree_page%3Dfalse&amp;secure%5Btoken%5D=1bc4d19d10a87731d2221139ed6af311fd76fea7bc0503cf8472e868c88ace6f&amp;secure%5Burl%5D=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.tenable.com%2Flp%2Fcampaigns%2F22%2Ftry-tenable-vm%2F&amp;secure%5Burl_type%5D=free_trial"><strong>Tenable Vulnerability Management</strong></a><strong>:</strong> Broader solution from Tenable beyond Nessus, tying vulnerability management into enterprise workflows.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/sysdig-sysdig-secure/reviews"><strong>Sysdig Secure</strong></a><strong>:</strong> Strong for container and Kubernetes security, good if your enterprise stack is heavily cloud-native.</li>
</ul><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Other popular tools I’ve seen mentioned include Qualys, Rapid7 InsightVM, and CrowdStrike Falcon Spotlight.</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">For those of you running enterprise IT security, which of these tools has been the most reliable for vulnerability scanning at scale? Do you lean toward the established players like Tenable, or newer cloud-native options like Wiz and Orca?</p>

&lt;p&gt;I’m also wondering, when it comes to picking a scanner, what ends up being the bigger priority for enterprise teams: full coverage across assets, or how well the tool integrates with the rest of your stack (SIEM, ITSM, ticketing)? Feels like both matter, but one usually wins out.&lt;/p&gt;
