Recommendations to others considering xtraCHEF:
Just try it. Scanning all invoices to have them broke down and available to use with their accuracy is great. If you go further, it gets even better - reporting, price watcher, order from the system and it will dispatch to vendors.... many features for a low low price. What problems is xtraCHEF solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our specific restaurant needed to be turned around. Jumping into a rescue situation like that requires information and speed. Xtrachef immediately gave me the information I needed to prioritize the areas we were to improve. While you’re making a “game plan”, the “show must go on”. Even during weekly operation we were able to track down slippage, change ordering habits, and renegotiate pricing.
Without xtrachef those first issues would’ve taken many employee hours and still probably would’ve been pushed later into the month.
That’s just glossing over. To put it simply: feed XTra the invoices, setup your budgets across your revenue centers, and see what shakes out.
