"Using XCode to develop an iPhone application"

What do you like best about Xcode?

I like XCode's Storyboard view to quickly put together a mockup and run the iOS device emulator through XCode. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Xcode?

When using the playground in XCode the compiler will run after adding some additional code, but sometimes the compiler hangs and I don't get quick feedback while developing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Xcode:

What problems is Xcode solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about Xcode?

* Integrated tools for developing the simple to complex mobile applications from scratch

* User Interface Unit Testing frameworks to support the testing the application with complex user interface that is usually hard to test

* The Code Rippon option to fold and unfold the code block is missing in XCode 9

* The time to take to compile and build the application is very high in XCode 9

* SOurce COntrol is very basic

What do you like best about Xcode?

I like Xcode because it’s nice, sleek, and efficient. Despite there being a few cons to this program, Xcode has many pros. Xcode is built for Mac which makes it work very well. I like how there are many people around the world that use the program. This gives it support if there ever comes a problem in the software. The iPhone emulator is really good as compared to Android emulator of Android Studio.
