Review Summary

Generated using AI from real user reviews
Users consistently praise Xcode for its seamless integration with the Apple ecosystem, which simplifies the development process for iOS and macOS applications. The all-in-one environment, featuring tools like the simulator and debugging capabilities, enhances productivity and streamlines workflows. However, many note that it can be resource-intensive, leading to slow performance on larger projects.

Some of the ways XCode likes to accomplish things, such as tab management and to an extent project management are a little clunky and at times frustrating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Xcode is good for app design"
What do you like best about Xcode?

Xcode is one of the best programs for designing apps. We use it mainly for our app we are developing for customer support. So far the program has made editing and writing code really easy. I like how good the software is at catching mistakes and editing source code. I also like how Xcode is compatible with swift code 3 and 4. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Xcode?

Xcode and be slightly difficult to use starting out. You do need to have a really good understanding of code before trying to use the program. Xcode seems like more of a code editor instead of a code writing program. I would like to see Xcode provide more support for code writing while also maintaining the ability for code editing.
