Generated using AI from real user reviews
Users consistently praise Xcode for its seamless integration with the Apple ecosystem, which simplifies the development process for iOS and macOS applications. The all-in-one environment, featuring tools like the simulator and debugging capabilities, enhances productivity and streamlines workflows. However, many note that it can be resource-intensive, leading to slow performance on larger projects.

"A good IDE for people invested in the Apple ecosystem"
What do you like best about Xcode?

The unified development environment between Mac, iOS and watchOS. Also, since Swift became semi-mainstream, it's become a better IDE. Debugging also seems to be easier on XCode. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Xcode?

If you're working as an independent developer, the developer fee can sometimes be too high. It's not a problem in a corporate environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"One of the best IDE/coding software which comes along with Macbooks."
What do you like best about Xcode?

I have been using the Xcode application ever since I bought my first Macbook. The Xcode is super easy to use and very user-friendly application for working on my day to day software development projects. And being a software developer and also as a student working with tools getting to work on tools on my MacBook which doesn't require to buy any more license software makes life easy using MacBook. And the best thing about Xcode is that it works seamlessly on my MacBook Pro. On my macOS, it matches the theme also. And apart from that the shortcuts to copy and edit the code it seamless on the Xcode. It has helped me reduce my development time all because it's super easy to use which makes my life easy making software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Xcode?

It's very difficult to find a thing to dislike about the Xcode. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Xcode, the best tool for iOS app development"
What do you like best about Xcode?

In my opinion, There are several Xcode features like storyboard that allows us to create the UI quite rapidly and code auto-completion suggestions is the single most powerful feature of Xcode. The instrument and debugging tools are very good as well. we can do interaction and flow between the entire UI. It is free and developed by Apple.

And it's most impressive feature is the simulator, which allows you to see exactly how your apps will run on the iOS device. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Xcode?

There's not much to dislike about Xcode, but rare crashes or minor bugs get me upset and it is necessary to restart the IDE. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
