**What do you like best about WolfCRM?**

I value the high level of workflow customization in WolfCRM, especially for marketing‑oriented retail use cases at HandelCentrum West GmbH. It lets me build contact tagging and campaign‑tracking workflows fitted exactly to our retail operations, and I do not need to pull in our busy dev team to make adjustments. Many competing CRM tools lock you into rigid pre‑set templates that don’t match how we run seasonal retail promotions, so this freedom makes a real difference day‑to‑day. I experienced how useful this flexibility was during our large‑scale spring retail campaign, where we worked with over 2200 retail shoppers. I built custom tags for buying preferences, coupon engagement, and post‑purchase feedback, plus simple workflows to log planned outreach steps. Before we started using WolfCRM, I relied heavily on Excel sheets to sort marketing audiences. I still remember a bad incident from our prior winter promotion: I was copying and pasting thousands of customer rows, and I accidentally overwrote an entire column of opt‑in status data. I spent half a day restoring the spreadsheet and double‑checking every contact, which delayed our campaign timeline significantly. With WolfCRM’s tagging and filtering capabilities, I can slice large contact lists quickly without touching our master customer dataset stored inside Nutshell. That is a huge plus for us, because Nutshell holds all our GDPR‑regulated official records, and we cannot afford to corrupt or modify that source‑of‑truth when testing new campaign ideas. I can build test segments, add draft interaction notes, and try out different audience groupings entirely within WolfCRM. My other marketing teammates can view those draft records to align on upcoming retail activities.

**What do you dislike about WolfCRM?**

First, native German-language support is incomplete. Plenty of menu items and system notifications remain in English. During our spring retail campaign with over 2200 contacts, I ran into an issue when exporting segmented customer lists for outreach preparation. Special German umlaut characters in customer surnames got corrupted in the CSV export. I spent over two hours cleaning and repairing the garbled exported file manually before I could cross-reference those contacts against our official Nutshell CRM records. It was a time-wasting mistake that slowed down our campaign preparation timeline. Second, built-in GDPR-oriented tools are very minimal. There are no out-of-the-box data-retention rules, automated consent-tracking fields, or one-click data-deletion workflows required for German retail. I have to build all consent-logging fields manually and keep manual checklists to clean temporary customer data after each campaign finishes. If I forget to delete temporary contact records after a promotion wraps up, we create residual data-protection risk for our business.

**What problems is WolfCRM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WolfCRM fixes multiple frustrating pain points I run into as Marketing & Customer Engagement Coordinator for our German retail business. Before we brought WolfCRM onboard, I did almost all my marketing‑list building inside Excel alongside our official CRM Nutshell. Nutshell is rock‑solid for GDPR‑compliant customer record‑keeping, but it is clunky for fast, ad‑hoc audience segmentation for one‑off retail promotions. I recall our spring retail campaign preparation very clearly. We needed to prepare outreach for more than 2200 shoppers. Back when I worked purely with spreadsheets, I manually pulled subsets of contacts out of Nutshell and pasted them into separate Excel files. During one busy afternoon, I merged two different audience lists and unintentionally included a group of customers who had formally opted out of marketing communications. I only caught the mistake minutes before sending our campaign email. If that mail had gone out to unsubscribed contacts, we would have faced serious GDPR compliance consequences for HandelCentrum West GmbH. WolfCRM lets me build temporary marketing segments and log draft outreach actions in a separate secondary environment. I can tag shoppers by purchase habits, filter audiences for promotions, and log preliminary follow‑up notes, all without editing or risking our official master customer data inside Nutshell. I no longer need to juggle multiple error‑prone spreadsheets. That said, WolfCRM is never our source‑of‑truth. I still manually validate opt‑in status and customer consent against Nutshell for every campaign. We do not keep long‑term personal identifiable information inside WolfCRM. It does not remove all manual work, but it drastically cuts down spreadsheet‑driven human mistakes. This frees up my time so I can focus on refining retail campaign messaging and coordinating with our store teams, instead of spending hours cleaning broken contact lists.

**What do you like best about WolfCRM?**

WolfCRM's orientation for contact management is perfectly suited for use in associative environments, and the customization layer has proven to be very effective both in implementation and in its subsequent operation.

**What do you dislike about WolfCRM?**

The only point that could perhaps be improved is the graphical interface.

**What problems is WolfCRM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Facilitate the management of associates and the sending of newsletters segmented by categories. Automate the complete management of billing.
