**What do you like best about WEVO?**

WEVO has been a great partner to work with. Their team is key in supporting test ideation, building and launching tests, and overall guidance. With every test we run, WEVO does the heavy lifting of recruiting and running the studies, all within a 2 week timeline. We have been able to launch tests with very specific demographic and audience requirements and WEVO has had the capacity for it all. The qualitative participant feedback combined with quantitative stats make a powerful combination and has been key in gaining insights we can build off of. WEVO continues to add new features and incorporate feedback to make the platform stronger and will only continue to grow.

With the addition of WEVO Pulse, we have been able to generate quick insights, without going through the process of an entire user study. This has led to helpful insights in more stages of our iterative design processes. WEVO Pulse helps give a starting point for ideas and UX audits.

**What do you dislike about WEVO?**

I would love to be able to do a search for keywords within all of the user quotations from the test, not just divided up by sentiment map, diagnostic, custom questions etc. It would be great to be able to sort responses based on custom screening question responses - which I know is something WEVO is working on!

**What problems is WEVO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WEVO is helping businesses understand user sentiments, journey flows, and overall performance. With the addition of industry benchmarking, WEVO is not only helping customers understand their users but also how the company performs in the space. Thanks to such a solid UX Research tool like WEVO, we are able to help our clients make improvements going forward.

**What do you like best about WEVO?**

The simple setup on the platform makes it very easy to test a tages diagnostics, this has help us run projects with teams that might not have a dedicated researcher to help them ask the questions they need to learn to improve their microsites!

**What do you dislike about WEVO?**

Sometimes closing out a study can be difficult if the audience is niche enough. We have seen improvement over time and I know we have a great partnership with Wevo so we are seeing the incremental improvements we need in order to have Wevo be a trusted partner.

**What do you like best about WEVO?**

Our account manager Justin has been excellent at helping us set up WEVOs.  He makes it easy and efficient for us to run one.

We mainly use it to compare where the current site is and rerun it to look at what our redesign does.  These stats help with case studies and explain our new design's impact.

Additionally, we use WEVO to develop valuable ideas on what to work on to optimize our client's websites.

**What do you dislike about WEVO?**

It's a bit pricey - when we're using it to see the baseline of an existing site and compare it to a new one, I wouldn't consider it something we need to do.  It's nice to have, so I wish it didn't cost as much.

**What problems is WEVO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WEVO helps us communicate the value of our work to our clients and potential new clients in our case studies.

WEVO also helps us solve the problem of creating backlogs of valuable tasks to improve a website.

**What do you like best about WEVO?**

WEVO is the must-have user research tool if you are ready to scale and take your website to new levels. What makes WEVO so special is the ability to receive actionable qualitative insights in 2 weeks. Before working with WEVO, the hardest buy-in for user research would be the turn time, and once the collection period is over, you might still not be statistically confident in your findings, well WEVO breaks down all those silos.  Whether the audience is niche or general WEVO will be able to capture all the insights that will lead to an overall improvement in your website experience. I absolutely love the sentiment map WEVO provides, if you ever wonder what your heatmaps are really saying about your users, this feature alone with make WEVO with the investment, but the best part is you will get so much more included.

**What do you dislike about WEVO?**

My only caveat to WEVO is the same with all user research, you speak to a panel of "would be" buyers but not actually buyers, such as an on-site survey. At times the pannel feels unengaged but that is a problem for all user research tools, and WEVO helps solve this issue but conducting quality insurance on all the responses and if it looks unengaged, finding a new participant.

**What problems is WEVO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WEVO is solving the problem of getting quick and statistically significant user research to direct website optimization. WEVO is truly saving our team hours of manual research along with dead time during projects. Instead of waiting around for the response collection you are always acting on all the insights. Find the insights that can be trusted while speeding up all aspects of your UX process is what WEVO does for us.

**What do you like best about WEVO?**

I believe the Wevo platform + service can benefit a lot of companies, including companies (1) with limited UXR resources, (2) with limited support to send out surveys, etc., (3) where the leadership team is skeptical about smaller sample qual data, and such. 

What I like the most about Wevo is their support + speed of study turnaround. Their research team/analysts went through a large sample of qualitative data quickly and provided thoughtful feedback that could be easily shared with the team.

For us, however, since the content we evaluated was nuanced, I looked through the data myself before I went through Wevo's key findings reports and synthesized with theirs, bolstering and adding validity/credibility to my findings.

**What do you dislike about WEVO?**

I would not say "I dislike about Wevo" but I have noticed that the data gathered on the Wevo platform seems more favorable than the data we see in the other channels. I used a few more-leaning-towards leading questions to have participants evaluate our website UX and gather critical qualitative feedback (this approach obviously has both pros and cons).

**What problems is WEVO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our web content is lacking information preventing users from purchasing our products, so we need to figure out how we can provide sufficient, valuable, and exciting content for our existing and prospect customers.

**What do you like best about WEVO?**

The UI of the platform is very nice - easily organized and helpful functionalities to convey insights and information. The sentiment map is definitely very helpful to see what users like and don't like along with associated comments

**What do you dislike about WEVO?**

Seems like testing detailed or lengthy flows that involve multiple templates or screens and asking users to do different task scenarios with a flow is still a little limited

**What problems is WEVO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WEVO is a quick and easy way for us to get feedback on a website so we can understand how users are perceiving the site and what their impressions are. We've been using it as part of our user research at the beginning of a redeisgn project where we want to better understand the current state so that we have data and feedback on how to evolve and change the designs for the new site.

**What do you like best about WEVO?**

I value the results of WEVO testings. We get to see how our users experience our pages and how they perform against competitors. I love the sentiment map in particular, where we get to hear from the users themselves. With WEVO, we can accurately and efficiently improve our pages.

**What do you dislike about WEVO?**

The Key Findings page is crucial — but feels heavy and cluttered. I wish there is a quicker way to see the critical results or maybe some UI to easily access specific sections.

WEVO is helping us get feedback from real people before we publish a big website change. User testing is even more quicker and effective with a detailed analysis of what works and what doesn't.

**What do you like best about WEVO?**

I like that Wevo provides multiple feedback channels and allows for the customization of questions. Rachel Wolf also helped to explain the feedback on my team's efforts to redesign our university homepage. The modules and sections are primarily intuitive, but it was very helpful to have a  representative present who knows the program best to explain everything thoroughly. I also liked that our university ranking results were compared to other universities on a visual ranking system. It's imperative for my team to know how we compare to others.

**What do you dislike about WEVO?**

I wish I knew more about WEVO before. I have heard of design testing and UX research, but I had not heard of this website prior to working at UCF. I believe WEVO could benefit from advertising a bit more to create better brand awareness.

WEVO visually shows where our audience clicks and how their user experience works. This knowledge is imperative to my team and helps to provide the insight we need to make intentional design decisions.

**What do you like best about WEVO?**

The upsides of using WEVO is the breadth and depth of findings that the tool presents--from heat maps to key insights, this tool combines qualitative and quantitative findings into a robust report that leads to actionable value-adds for our work.

At the moment, there isn't anything notable that I dislike about WEVO--the team continues to develop new features that continuously improve the tool.

WEVO makes conducting in-depth research against a large pool of users extremely easy--it's a great go-to tool when we're trying to pull insights quickly that illuminate both strengths and weaknesses of a current experience.

I love the account team, Jenni and Justin have been really helpful as I am getting to know Wevo's capabilities.  I like how clear the methodology is and the options to do different types of tests.  I have yet to test a full journey, so that's next on my list.

**What do you dislike about WEVO?**

The time to get a panel takes a while, and some of the panelists didn't seem fully engaged - only a few gave some relevant quotes. Most panelists are just doing the bare minimum.

**What problems is WEVO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helpful to have some data about a client's site to get a more informed POV before we approach a new client
We will also be using Wevo to test new designs for our website redesign before we launch
The custom questions are important to me because we can do small studies and use that data to create lead magnets. We asked "What is the biggest digital CX challenge facing you" and then used those responses to help inform our new content, as well as publish a little e-book on that same theme.

poster boards to the pitch - they brought data-backed recommendations.

**What do you like best about WEVO?**

The team at WEVO is really excellent, but what I like best is the Sentiment Map tool, the ability to show a visual and link it with user comments is a powerful feature.

**What do you dislike about WEVO?**

Some limitations around mobile apps, though they will work with you to create a design like Envision that can be used to emulate the app. This can limit some features, but for us still worked well and gave us great insights.

**What problems is WEVO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My team uses WEVO to help us understand the user experience of the websites and apps we are optimizing. WEVO requires less leg work in both creating the experience and analyzing the results. This saves us time. Additionally, the qualitative nature of WEVO, with at least 100 sessions, also provides confidence in what we present. Generally, we are relying on the voice of a few customers from a traditional user research project.

WEVO provides a fast and easy way to gather valuable data and user insights. They do the heavy lifting on the back end with running the test and synthesizing the data, then hand it off to you in an organized report where you can quickly and easily dive deeper into the results.

**What do you dislike about WEVO?**

WEVO has their own way of conducting the tests in terms of what sorts of questions the users answer. I'd like to have more control over what questions the users are answering about the website/assets, but there's usually enough data to where I can gather the information I'm seeking.

**What problems is WEVO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time management. WEVO allows me to skip over some of the testing process and get straight to the data once the test is complete, saving me a lot of time and effort.

WEVO is a growing and adaptable tool.  I really enjoy working with the people who help me realize and recognize the full power of the tool.  We also appreciate the specialized panels that can be created for nuanced clients that we work with.

Missing some the self-service/ understanding the full power of the tool. More documentation on use cases and capabilities would be great.

**What do you like best about WEVO?**

We are still very new to using Wevo. However, it's great to get insights on UX, creative, product, etc directly from consumers beyond the surface level commentary in reviews (which make no mention of page UX or creative). We currently don't do any kind of creative testing, and this is an easy-to-use/understand segue into the world of testing and using data to drive our decisions.

**What do you dislike about WEVO?**

Not a lot of transparency about the quantitative measure and benchmarking - how much of this is subjective, is it statistically significant, etc. I feel to really make conclusions, we'd need to round out certain hypotheses with A/B testing in a live environment.

**What problems is WEVO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We want to understand if consumers find our page informative and whether it compels them to buy our product. We are getting useful qualitative feedback about the creative and UX in addition to the product itself.

**What do you like best about WEVO?**

WEVO helps us get vast amounts of user feedback without the time and labor of individual user tests. They synthesize the data and give us insights in a dashboard format. The WEVO team is impressive - very responsive and just good people.

**What do you dislike about WEVO?**

Sometimes I can tell that users didn't click on the live URL when reviewing the experience. This can create some irrelevant feedback, but that's not a limitation with WEVO, that's the participant's choice only to view the static screenshot.

**What problems is WEVO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WEVO has helped our creative team better understand where our users are in their journey. When it comes to terminology, we've assumed quite a bit about our user's level of understanding. WEVO has shown us that users might not understand or care about certain value props. Working at an agency, WEVO level sets our clients with their user's expectations. We can say things to our clients but hearing the feedback directly from the user makes it much easier to move forward with recommendations.

I like how easy it is to get help when I need it. Ryan Abelman is the best, as he answers all my questions (I have a lot) and is really quick to respond, thank you Ryan!

There are some limitations to the usability of the tool, which I understand are being worked on.

So far I have used WEVO for discovery research and unmoderated testing. I like that there are graphs included with the study results as this saves me time when presenting my findings.

The insights that Wevo provided were both unique and actionable. Having access to rich user insights at scale (usually reserved for quantitative studies) was a game-changer!

WEVO has great people to work with who are high energy and dedicated to their work - they respond in a very timely manner and are thorough. Not only that, but they work hard to ensure that you get insightful data that helps you move forward with your work in a meaningful way.

I can honestly say that there is nothing that I dislike about WEVO. They have met all of my expectations and then have exceeded them. They are great to work with and are always open to improving their platform.

I cannot speak to specific problems that we are working on solving with research, but I can say that the wide range of methodologies that they offer allow us to solve most if any of the user experiences that we wish to test and get next steps for.

**What do you like best about WEVO?**

The addition of WEVO to our company's research toolkit has been a game-changer. It allows us to quickly and easily launch studies with only a two-week turnaround that offers qualitative insights at quantitative numbers. The thoughtful analysis by the WEVO staff gives clear and actionable analysis, while their analysis tools allow us to dive deeper into points of interest.

**What do you dislike about WEVO?**

Just as in other research, the data can be misread if appropriate care is not given to objectivity and context setting. The overall comparison rankings require some education to be read correctly, and it would be beneficial if education and context were added throughout the report to help less familiar stakeholders understand the metrics when viewing on their own.

**What problems is WEVO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Understanding market appeal, sentiment, understandability of the content, and leading indicators of adoption.

**What do you like best about WEVO?**

Sentiment analysis, industry panels, benchmarking are all constructive during a site teardown. Our rep is incredibly responsive and helps come up with ideas that benefit our team. A lot of ideas for surveys come from WEVO rather than internally, and that helps take a lot of the burden off of our team.

**What do you dislike about WEVO?**

The credit system is a little strange and unnecessarily cumbersome to keep track of to the point where it's challenging to tell our internal team how much work we can do with WEVO that we've already paid for - I'd prefer a straightforward per project or retainer basis for the work we do together. I know WEVO would be accommodating in this case but I think it'd be better if it were more to the point.

**Recommendations to others considering WEVO:**

A demo goes a long way - the site and services are straightforward but learning how WEVO conducts the analyses with a walkthrough is helpful.

**What problems is WEVO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Competitive analysis and benchmarking - we're able to do many site optimizations and placements of things like widgets with a lot of conversion rate optimization-minded shops. WEVO offers something different through consumer panels. We learn a lot through how our sites compare to our peers, rather than alone in a vacuum.

My contact at WEVO is extremely helpful and responsive. Always willing to hop on a call and provide guidance/answer my questions. The WEVO team also does a great job at working to ensure your research questions are answered and to provide helpful and meaningful results.

It was a strong collection of user data that helped us define the weaknesses of our website design and information. While we have a lot of data on user behavior of our website, none of our data includes real feedback and insight as to what people do or do not like about our website.

Not all users gave helpful feedback. Some users seemed to have poor spelling and grammar skills, which wouldn't really be our target demographic. Human psychology is hard to pinpoint sometimes so people left vague comments that didn't help us at all, such as "I don't know I just don't like it." There are also often conflicting groups of opinions, so you sometimes have to split the difference for certain areas and call it a wash.

The feedback is very specific and actually actionable.  As a starting point, the key findings feature gives you a great overview and summary of all the feedback given so that you can find immediate takeaways and action items on how to improve. I found the heatmap feature to be extremely helpful; it gives you a really interesting look at what people like and dislike. Even more so, you are able to filter by different demographics to see how different portions of your target audience react to the various parts of the pages. Finally, the audience expectations is another extremely helpful feature as it actually measures what the audience expected going in and tests against the same exact expectation after viewing your site, so you know that WEVO is comparing things that can reasonably be compared, and then tells you why those expectations were or were not met. Again, this gives you feedback you can actually learn from and act on instead of guessing what the audience wanted.

**What do you dislike about WEVO?**

I haven't come across any downsides to using this platform. The only thing I would mention is to make sure that you have some kind of hypothesis on what is or isn't working instead of going in "blind." If the pages you are comparing don't have any major differences, that you have clearly documented, you might not benefit as much from this platform.

WEVO offers incredibly detailed and thorough analytics and insights that are immediately actionable. Fantastic product for people looking to gain actionable insights on their web or mobile pages. This product is incredibly intuitive to use and helps anyone understand better how they could improve conversions. WEVO's customer service was also excellent. We were walked through step by step the process of submitting content for comparison and the dashboard so we could understand the full extent of the product and WEVO's analysis. Very responsive and the team clearly cares about the end user.

There is nothing that comes to mind. The volume of data and analytics would be my only minor complaint, but it is very well summarized. Having the data available for analysis later is also helpful.

If you are looking to improve conversions from a landing page or website (either desktop or mobile), you should strongly consider using WEVO. Their dashboards are fantastic, digestible, actionable, and focused. While I haven't personally used a competitor, WEVO offers a great product with exceptional customer service. This team cares about its users and wants to help them succeed.

This is definitely more of a qualitative than a quantitative testing tool. That's not a bad thing, but it can make it more challenging to sell the value of the insights to certain stakeholders. The ability to share preview links to studies prior to launch would definitely make things smoother.

QUICK! Great customer service. Thorough results that are also super easy to read and actually use. Sometimes with user testing it's difficult to take all of the findings and summarize them into actionable next steps, but WEVO takes the guess work out of that, making my job a lot easier and saves me a lot of time.

**What do you dislike about WEVO?**

I wish there was an overlay of comments on the heat map. Sometimes it is hard to summarize issues with one particular component (let's say a header) without the heatmap AND the comments -- so it'd be nice to have a better visual representation of these findings. Or...a word cloud above each element that was commented on? So if when users are providing feedback on imagery, if there are words that are used over and over again, having those on the screenshots would be helpful. 

Cost *could* be a blocker in some cases as now every client can afford it -- is there a way to get a statistically valid test by having a "mini" version of WEVO? Something that didn't cost as much as a normal test does.

**Recommendations to others considering WEVO:**

Definitely take the WEVO team on their offer to help you set up your first test. This is extremely helpful in learning what types of goals you want to set, which in turn will help deliver data that is impactful and useful for your project.

Think carefully about the audience that you want to reach. I realized that my first test was too broad -- I needed my results to be more narrow in terms of education level and salary, but I didn't set those up properly at first.

Ease of use. Completeness of report information. The insights provided by the test group is typically eye opening. It gives my team a real clear idea of how to move forward. Often there will be hidden gems that are opinions we may have overlooked in our creative and usability meetings. WEVO gives us set of perspectives that no "persona model" can really match.

Understanding how the tests are performed. I'm never quite sure if the tests we submit are truly live tests where the test subjects actually get to interact with the page that is submitted, or if they are just presented with a screen shot of the page to give opinions. I believe if they are only given a screenshot, the test really isn't giving our team the entire picture, especially when it comes to navigation or interaction issues.

Make sure you look at both the good and the bad insights. They are the keys to telling you if you are on the right path with your design decision making.

An affordable and fast way to get detailed user feedback. Great combination of specificity and sample size. Options for custom requirements for user panels are very useful as well. User panels include people who are generally difficult to find for these kinds of test (High HHI, etc.).

The dashboard is solid but could definitely use some work, not super intuitive right now.

We didn't know much about individual sections of our homepage and how users were reacting to the small things. WEVO's feedback has users tag their comments on specific sections of the page, which helped us gain insights about things we didn't think we needed to test but actually were causing issues.

The combination of sample size + specificity helped us realize which sections were controversial (high likes/dislikes) or ignored (low likes/dislikes). These sorts of insights may not be seen from an A/B test, wherein you would remove one of those sections and the test would seem flat because users are reacting equally in both directions to it. WEVO gave us ideas of how to improve controversial sections and remove ignored sections, and without it we may have just tested into removing both types.

We found the feedback, heat map, and drivers very valuable. We also appreciated that setting up a test was easy. We submitted some pages and target audience, but there seems to be a lot of structure and analysis layered in.

It took a little longer than we expected for the results to come back. We wish we could do more a large volume of tests, but its a little to cost prohibitive to run more than a few a quarter.

The ability to test concepts and designs without having to put in the development work first.  The WEVO platform is an amazing resource of qualitative insights.  The easiest way to dive in a really take a granular look at the feedback from end users.

Sometimes it is hard to replicate interactivity in a design that is being tested. For example if a design includes a slideshow of photos or a video - the feedback received can be out of context depending on what was captured for the test.

Try a trial run of WEVO and give them a chance to show what the platform can do.

The ability to do A/B testing on landing pages before developing them has been a huge benefit. We no longer need to spend the time to develop two landing pages and test them in a live campaign.  We can better invest our ad spend right out of the gate!!

I like that Wevo audits are easy to set up and their customer success team is easy to work with.  The results, while blunt, give intelligent feedback about the roadblocks standing in the way to increased conversion.  The platform itself is extremely intuitive and the findings are easy to present to our clients.  Wevo seems to work hard to continually improve the platform and how they are presenting their findings.

**What do you dislike about WEVO?**

Occasionally we get verbatim feedback where a user is taking something that appears on the landing page and giving irrelevant feedback based on a misunderstanding of the goal of a page.  Also, testing can sometimes take longer than anticipated, so it is important to set proper expectations with clients.  Both of these have not been roadblocks to success in using the tool.

**What problems is WEVO solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a digital agency, so providing feedback that either confirms our suspicions about issues with client landing pages or uncovers issues we haven't considered is very important. Many times a client will produce their own landing pages and we need an unbiased source like a Wevo to convince clients to see the need to make changes to landing page presentation.  Also, Wevo provides a terrific assist in those situations where we are developing landing pages and need to ensure we are delivering clients with the best possible page and not lose the time you would typically lose from traditional a/b testing.
