## About Voximplant
Voximplant is a communications platform as a service, it allows developers to add real-time communications features (voice, video and messaging) in their applications without a need to build any backend infrastructure. Voximplant architecture is designed for serverless: developers upload their JavaScript code into our cloud and uploaded code is being executed automatically when a call arrives at the platform or when an HTTP API command is executed. A call can arrive at the platform from a phone network, from a SIP device or application, and from Voximplant Web or Mobile SDK.

**What do you like best about Voximplant?**

Implementation for sending and receiving calls in a very practical and simple way, providing better technical support to the customer. Basically, I use it daily in my work, which offers us a very easy integration into our day-to-day activities.

**What do you dislike about Voximplant?**

The main disadvantage we experienced was the emergence of problems when using chat automation with customers. This caused difficulties in technical support, as we could not contact them directly and were forced to make phone calls. Additionally, the use of the bot turned out to be somewhat limited.

**What problems is Voximplant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had difficulties maintaining contact with clients due to failures in communication channels, which made sending and receiving messages very tedious and this considerably affected our work. Later on, we decided to try an alternative, but we are currently still using the call service, with which we are very satisfied to this day.

**What do you like best about Voximplant?**

The product solves common problems in business communication, such as the lack of integration between different channels, the low level of automation in customer service, and the difficulties in scaling services. Thanks to this, advantages such as greater operational efficiency, cost reduction, and a significantly improved customer experience are obtained. Ease of Use and its easy implementation.

There are certain limitations in customization if code is not used. However, despite these drawbacks, I still consider the platform to be very powerful.

Address effectively the common problems in business communication, such as the lack of integration between different channels, the limited automation in customer service, and the complications in scaling services.

**What do you like best about Voximplant?**

It does not require advanced configurations to use it; simply log in to the website or application, sign in with your Google account, and get to work. It is very easy to use and also flexible in integrating real-time communications. A complete platform allows us to automate calls, messages, and chatbots, which enables us to handle more support tickets.

**What do you dislike about Voximplant?**

As it is a very comprehensive platform, at first it gives you the impression that it will be difficult to understand, but once you quickly understand the communication flows, you adapt.

Voximplant helps us improve customer service, automate calls, and reduce operational costs. Now we manage voice, video, and chat from a single platform without relying on traditional telephone infrastructure.

I like being able to make quality calls both from the website and the app, and also having the option to choose from several of the numbers I have registered.

**What do you dislike about Voximplant?**

When the application or page closes due to a failure on my computer, sometimes there is no record of the calls that were in progress.

firstly it helped us to stop implementing traditional telephony, with the functionalities of VoIP we can do everything from the computer and without the need for an additional device

The design and configuration to achieve a specific requirement, as well as its interaction and reports on the management of inbound and outbound calls. Recommended.

I would like them to include better development to interact with the messaging channels, it has external protocols to the system that we must follow. This process is a bit tedious.

The IVR scenarios and automations help me connect with my clients without using too much human resources as I did before, recommendable.

**What do you like best about Voximplant?**

We create Golos, a voice-based social media platform featuring audio conferences, voice chats, and other functions. 
We would like to note in particular while working with Voximplant is their professionalism in communicating with clients. The Voximplant team created a group chat and allocated a working group to deal specifically with our project. They were also always available for conference calls with developers. Voximplant has been doing it all for free because they believe in our product!

**What do you dislike about Voximplant?**

When you create a complex, cutting-edge product, you face failures. It would be good to get a more operational analysis of failures and prompt identification of which side an error is on.

**Recommendations to others considering Voximplant:**

Do not hesitate to reach out to the Voximplant support team. They are always here to help you, answer your questions, and provide advice. Sometimes there were errors on our part. This happens when there are many features, and you face an embarrassment of riches, so to say.

We were to build the MVP and get things rolling in the shortest possible time. Thanks to Voximplant and their support, we have done it in 3 weeks.

Call speed - the smart IVR we implemented with Voximplant is 10 times faster than our agent based customer data collection process.
Conversion increase - implementation of the new technology has resulted in increased conversion: we currently hire 15-20% of all candidates.

When asking for professional services by Voximplant’s development team, they are not always immediately available. It can take 7-10 days for code updates.

**Recommendations to others considering Voximplant:**

If you have your own development team that knows JavaScript, you can create your solution in a few days. If you don’t have the resources yourself you can contact Voximplant to develop it for you, but that will take longer.  For simpler use cases, you are better off using Voximplant Kit - their drag-and-drop call flow editor product that doesn’t require any coding.

**What problems is Voximplant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

KFC uses Voximplant to run our new employee candidate call center. We receive more than 15,000 resumes each month. To help more effectively screen these candidates, we use Voximplant’s intelligent Interactive Voice Response (IVR) technology to automatically identify the best candidates for our live agents to focus on.

**What do you like best about Voximplant?**

There are many great capabilities with Voximplant, but I would place emphasis on the infrastructure in different countries. Since we have clients both in Europe and in Russia, it is really important for us to use a solution that can provide connections of excellent quality in real time.

**What do you dislike about Voximplant?**

Several years ago, we faced the problem of flexibility in configuring the native ACD module for organizing the priority and sequence of calls to CC operators. As a result, I had to independently describe the logic of distribution of incoming calls in my scenarios.

**Recommendations to others considering Voximplant:**

You can build a complete Cloud Contact Centre on the Platform in a couple of weeks. You may also use a pre-built solution with ready-to-use services to process both inbound and outbound calls and connect customers to the operators by request, in case you want to automate your communications partly.

**What problems is Voximplant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We work closely with many large companies helping them to organize the fulfillment process to open an online shop. That is why we communicate with different customers and it is important for us to understand who is calling, what business they have and what kind of request we are to process. Running a contact center with a CRM system helps manage this process effectively. Moreover, it was important for us to quickly scale the operator seats’ quantity in the contact centre and establish communication with new customers when we start working with new online shops.

**What do you like best about Voximplant?**

Platform components are easy to use. Also, Voximplant’s documentation is well written. It helps us to build the right scenarios faster. Additionally, there is no need to pay for an on-prem solution, which is a huge bonus for us - all data is in a cloud in one place, while Vox billing is built on a system that offers Pay As You Go or invoice billing.

**What do you dislike about Voximplant?**

Previously, there was no ready to use solution, so we needed to spend much time on the development. Perhaps now, we’d go for Voximplant Kit - their no-code solution that would solve our pain.

**Recommendations to others considering Voximplant:**

For SMB companies I’d advise using the Voximplant Kit Contact Center. For Enterprise organizations, I’d look into Voximplant platform - it is meant for developers, and allows you to build customized solutions with various integrations in it.

As the company grew rapidly and the number of requests increased, it was important to ensure that the contact center was easily scalable and integrated with the CRM system for quick access. With the help of Voximplant, we were able to deploy the contact center MVP in a short time and easily enrich it with further functions in the future after a successful launch.

**What do you like best about Voximplant?**

Voximplant's API is the gold standard in the market. Other companies should follow this example. We are very satisfied with the possibilities of the platform. It's easy to use, very flexible and the documentation is sufficient and clear.
Technical support reacts fast and helps to solve any problem. Billing is uncomplicated, you won't get 100 documents on every single step.

**What do you dislike about Voximplant?**

The prices for the traffic are a little bit too high. No one-way sms in the required region yet.

**Recommendations to others considering Voximplant:**

If you compare Voximplant with any other provider for communications, you will feel the difference. High SLA, best user experience.

We're using it for a remote detailing case. Thanks to Voximplant we could implement that case the way we wanted to (it was not possible with other vendors). Now the communication between sales and customers is under control, which makes it more effective.

Voximplant’s serverless, cloud-based application engine is key for us - we can create call control scenarios of any complexity using JavaScript.
Great documentation with a lot of examples.
Phone numbers in many countries around the world.
Option to connect existing IP/Cloud PBX (via SIP) for customers that can't buy numbers from us.
Built-in and easy-to-use call recording, speech synthesis and speech recognition.
Advanced logging capabilities that help to support customers a lot.

We would use phone numbers from more countries if they offered it.
They could use more SMS features and support for SMS in more countries.

Start with something simple. When you need more in the future,  Voximplant most likely have you covered. First, we built a cloud PBX, then we upgraded it to a full contact center, and recently launched video conferencing using the same platform!

**What problems is Voximplant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We built a complete multi-tenant PBX and cloud call center that includes IVR, recording, call transcription, agent queuing, mobile app calling, IP phone support among  many other features that all integrate into our CRM interface (https://www.bitrix24.com/solutions/tool/telephony.php). Recently we also launched a new video calling service for one-to-one and much larger group calls (https://helpdesk.bitrix24.com/open/11279074/).

**What do you like best about Voximplant?**

We’ve been using Voximplant platform for about 5 years. It's the best fit for creating custom scripts for calling. In our view, this is the best solution for building your own telephony, mainly because of its flexibility.

There are rare technical issues, but they are resolved quickly and within SLA.

**Recommendations to others considering Voximplant:**

The platform is a perfect match for companies similar to ours - for large travel aggregators, with a very large flow of communications.

The main reason for integrating our telephony into CRM was to optimize communications with existing customers, as well as prompt processing of incoming calls, especially in the high season. We managed to achieve that.

**What do you like best about Voximplant?**

We are a cross-platform chatbot platform and a team of developers. For us, being able to build our own server-less voip gateway functions allowed us to build a great integration in record-time. Also, we like the fast handling of support-issues and the transparent pricing structure.

**What do you dislike about Voximplant?**

We are heavy users of the Dialogflow connector which sometimes behaved inconsistently. This is largely not Voximplant's fault but rather Google's, but it was sometimes a bit unclear how to best work around certain issues.

Voximplant is a great (DIY) phone gateway for bots built on our platform.

Voximplant has great functionality and flexibility as a communication platform.
Excellent documentation and devtools are always up to date. They offer 24/7 technical support and always answers questions quickly.

Sometimes there are so many ways to implement the required functionality that we are faced with a choice of exactly how to do it. On the other hand, technical support always suggests which tool is best to choose to implement the required service.

Jivo an omni-channel business messenger. Our live chat widget is embedded in our customers’ websites so they can communicate with their customers. More than 270,000 sites around the world trust JivoSite to communicate with their customers.
We have many competitors: instant messengers, direct calls to companies, emails, etc so we always need to provide differentiating features. We chose Voximplant so that we could offer a new web calling feature that enables our users to speak with their customers on the phone  while exchanging messages and documents at the same time. This feature has been very well received by our customers. 
In addition, the callbacks feature we implemented with Voximplant helps close deals when only chat isn't enough. Our customers combine these two communication channels to increase conversions at all stages of the sales funnel.

The main reason that I like it because of its interface. It's user friendly and very easy to use. The quality of the video is amazig.

It is quite expensive in comparison to other web conferencing software. Also sometimes the connectivity gets slow with the poor network connection.

I like its interface very much. It is very user-friendly and easy to use. It is a cloud base platform. It's audio and video quality is very good. We easily chat with colleagues and employees.

It provides more advanced features for solving communication problems. It is quite expensive compare to the other alternatives.

I have a great experience with Voximplant. It is the best platform for video conferences and meetings.  It has lots of features for video conferences. It's one click to join meeting feature is amazing.

Great SDK - our developers easily understood the platform and were able to create a product quickly.
API - you can easily integrate the platform with your CRM-system for more precise call control.
Technical support - if you need help to figure out how to set up scripts, colleagues are always ready to help.

A year ago, we occasionally observed some issues on the platform side with Voximplant’s SBCs that impacted some calls. We are grateful these problems were fixed quickly..

**What problems is Voximplant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We run a service that connects professional lawyers with clients online to help with a wide variety of legal needs. These calls are a perishable item. If you don’t pick up the phone - you’ll lose the client. We used to have a call center that received calls from clients and transferred them to lawyers, but the new system from Voximplant now lets us directly connect clients to our legal partners.

**What do you like best about Voximplant?**

Severless - their VoxEngine lets you run simple to complex application logic all on their servers so you don’t need to setup your own

JavaScript - their engine is based on JavaScript instead of XML, make it much easier to code and debug, especially more complex scenarios

IDE - their web IDE includes auto-completion and debugging tools, so you can go pretty far without needing their docs

Dialogflow Connector - they are the only CPaaS vendor on the market with both a full set of Dialogflow APIs. Connecting to an existing Dialogflow bot only takes a couple minutes. 

Support - they have always been quick to get back to me, even in off-hours

**What do you dislike about Voximplant?**

As good as their cloud IDE is, for more complex projects I miss using my usual IDE. I wish they had an easier way to mix locally run/developer code with what you can do in their cloud IDE like what AWS and GCP have for their lambda/cloud functions.

Python support in their cloud environment might also help for some projects.

**Recommendations to others considering Voximplant:**

It is great if you like JavaScript and don’t want to dig through XML guides on how to do something. 

Their platform has many layers. This is great for complex projects or building multi-tenant apps, but much of this isn’t needed if you are starting with something simple. Start with their quickstarts and add complexity from there as you need it. I have not used their 
Voximplant Kit product extensively, but that is another simpler way to get started.  

They provide free test numbers you can use by entering a PIN code after dialing, but for what usually comes to less than a couple of cents a call, I find it easier to just buy an extra number for development and testing purposes.

**What problems is Voximplant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have used them as part of a mobile app-based click-to-call solution and to build conversational IVRs. 

Their mobile SDK saved my team several weeks of development time and probably a lot more in subsequent maintenance.

I have been able to make some compelling conversational IVRs by combining their CPaaS platform with Dialogflow. There are a lot of features that Dialogflow’s own Phone Gateway does provide that you just can’t enable easily with other platforms. It's nice to be able to replicate systems that cost hundreds of thousands of upfront costs plus ongoing feeds for only pennies per minute.

Vox does have a ready to use plug and play connector for Dialogflow, you can use it in 5 minutes, this is not the only cool feature, they have a script (called scenario) for that, and you are able to edit and manipulate it and customize it (as we did)

Documentation is very good. you can find whatever you need there

Customer support is good and you will get answer quickly

**What do you dislike about Voximplant?**

I would like some features like auto payment, or webhook per line number, but you can live without it.

**What do you like best about Voximplant?**

Voximplant’s JavaScript-based control over dial plans and IVR is a great fit for our development team.
Their versatile REST API’s have given us all the control we need - we’ve almost never needed to do something that we weren’t able to.
Their great international coverage lets us provide dial-in service all over the world.
Voximplant’s advanced media stack has some huge optimizations that help us increase quality and reduce load on our SIP to video gateways by multiplexing multiple media streams into the same channel (intrasession SSRC mixing).
Support for audio levels (RFC6464) is also very innovative and perfect for our architecture.

**What do you dislike about Voximplant?**

Their Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports after the rare outage could be improved.

**Recommendations to others considering Voximplant:**

Tell the Voximplant team what you need. Their platform has a lot of capabilities that seem to be relatively easy for them to expose.

**What problems is Voximplant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We offer a video meetings service for tens of millions of users. We use Voximplant for dial-in and dial-out capabilities with local numbers for 30+ countries. We use Voximplant to handle our IVR requirements, including calling our APIs to authenticate users, and to manage media into and out of our global network of SIP Gateways. Voximplant has given us important PSTN calling capabilities that leverage our advanced architecture.

I use Voximplant to install click to call on my pages, it's incredible! Thanks to Voximplant, I have managed to implement a bot with Dialogflow that captures leads outside of working hours and is sent directly to the CRM.

**What do you like best about Voximplant?**

Simple, easy to implement CPaaS solution, complete w/ native Dialogflow.  We had no issues interfacing via SIP. Their VoxEngine cloud environment made it easy to adjust our setup without having to involve our regular developer staff. Their billing is very transparent and their CDR reporting was easy to incorporate into our systems.

Voximplant is a great go-to platform when we have special projects that extend our own capabilities and for prototyping new offers.

**What do you dislike about Voximplant?**

I wish they had a multi-user account setup that could give individual users limited rights. We could have used that with some of our remote teams, and it would be nice to keep the finance guys away from the operational controls.  

I understand they are working on this capability.

**What problems is Voximplant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were able to help a customer add affordable IP calling in a region that had expensive and unreliable cellular coverage. This helped us maintain a loyal and large customer. 

We also used their CPaaS layer to prototype custom solutions for several customers before investing in a full-scale buildout.  Their ability to spin up service quickly has saved us a ton of time and money.

The Voximplant platform has a lot of pros - complete freedom, transparency and the pay as you go format.  You can configure telephony to fit your needs, receive detailed analytics on calls, do not have staff around the clock serving the call center, and pay only for what is currently being used.

**What do you dislike about Voximplant?**

Voximplant made a change to one of their API’s that was not clearly documented. This caused us a minor issue and we had to go to support to understand what happened. Our manager promised that this would not happen again, and fortunately it has not :)

**What problems is Voximplant solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We built an Automatic Call Distribution (ACD) system that takes incoming customer calls, handles entry of customer credit card information into our CRM, and connects users to our couriers without exposing any private phone numbers or credit card information.

**What do you like best about Voximplant?**

subscription plan is convenient and do not have to commit to be expensive plan.  The scenario build is easy to use and helps when you are trying to architect the environment.  You can test your scenario before putting into production.  Gui is user friendly with color coding.  Phone numbers can be easily purchased.

**What do you dislike about Voximplant?**

The bot can be glitchy and does not work correctly unless it's setup with lot of details.  Setup can be difficult if you do not know json or understand the technology.

perfect for automating call routing and self service phone calls for your help desk team.
