"Exceptional Expertise and Lightning-Fast Implementation"

What do you like best about VBCG?

Product knowledge, speed, and responsiveness have been my three favorite things about working with VBCG. They were well-versed in the inner workings of the software and how to best set things up. This allowed them to build out and refine features at an incredibly rapid pace - instead of having to do a lot of researching or testing, they already knew how to implement a majority of our asks immediately - often making those changes on-the-fly during our meetings. And, not only did we have very productive regular check-ins during our engagement as well as clear and consistent status updates, the team was always available ad-hoc via email, IM, and virtual meetings for anything we needed. It's been a true pleasure working with them - and they've been nothing but gracious and patient as our organization sadly threw a number of curveballs and direction changes their way midstream! What do you dislike about VBCG?

The only negative thing I can think of from this whole experience is that my organization didn't make the engagement period longer! I'd have loved to be able to keep working with them to further develop the tool with more of the "nice-to-haves" we ran our of time for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering VBCG:

For their sake as well as your own, make sure you've done as much due diligence as possible in determining your specific needs and requirements at the start of the process. We ate up precious engagement time where we realized during testing that we wanted to add a new function, or that we hadn't initially provided all the initial assumptions, data, or example test scenarios we should have. So, through no fault of their own, VBCG had to spent extra time reworking the incorrect/incomplete items we may have started out asking for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is VBCG solving and how is that benefiting you?

We needed a new platform for headcount and labor dollars budgeting and forecasting for our organization. VBCG was able to build out and configure all of the modelling, logic, administration, and UI within Anaplan we needed to accomplish this. We now have a robust and flexible tool at our disposal for the coming year, instead of competing software platforms between our different departments and the associated flurry of Excel workbooks. What do you like best about VBCG?

They provide best practice support of an Architect and Model builder in a cost effective model. VBCG has quickly become a key member of our FP&A team and help with our strategy and techinical support with Anaplan. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about VBCG?

I do not see any downside to working with VBCG. They came in and immediately assisted us to complete our annual budget in our existing model while simultaneously looking for ways to reduce complexity and spce within the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering VBCG:

If you are looking for Anaplan support in a consulting role or as a member of your team VBCG is an excellent partner. They provide us with 50 hours a week of support at a more cost effective rate than if we were to hire an Architect and Model Builder internally. What problems is VBCG solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are in year two of Anaplan implementation and VBCG has come in and immediately helped our team move our annual budget planning out of Excel and into Anaplan while also improving and streamlining our revenue model. The combination of the Architect and Model Builder provides us with a cost effective model for best practice support. They are also actively training our team to build internal model builder skillset so we are not dependent on long term consulting support. VBCG has identified ways to streamline our model to ensure it runs as efficiently as possible and minimizing the amount of needed storage and memory. They meet with us daily and quickly became a part of our team. I would highly recommend them for any implementation or improvement project you may be working on with Anaplan.
