Ufleet allows us to make sure we're taking the most efficient routs, monitor the execution in real time so we're sure we're moving according to plan. When we started a few years ago there was no iOS app for the drivers which made us buy Android company phones for everyone. Currently it's not an issue since they've released an iOS version. Removing inefficiencies in the dispatching stage - Ufleet has a very good routing engine that takes live traffic into account and thus we've been able to achieve considerable efficiency gains by assigning an algorithmically generated routes to our drivers. 2. Operational control - We are able to make sure that the drivers are following the routes as instructed and that we're not losing any time, make sure that our drivers are diligent and we are as efficient in this as possible. 3. Regulatory hassles - We are sometimes transporting dangerous goods like WWII explosives that were discovered at a construction site. There is a regulatory aspect of that - you basically need to make sure where the goods are at any point, reproduce their track of movement and get preventive alerts if they diverge from the designated route. The client wanted to switch from a third party SaaS routing software and have more flexibility around delivery management whenever they changed business processes. They were also looking for a more scalable solution to sustain growth. We implemented the Ufleet API in the corse of couple of months, integrating it with Microsoft Business Central and building a native interface to run optimizations and manage deliveries. What do you dislike about ufleet.io? It asks for login credentials every time. The Dispatcher user interface can be improved. The route colors are sometimes indistinguishable from each other. We operate more than 70 grocery shops in different cities and we use Ufleet for our deliveries. We optimize routes according to vehicle capacity and delivery time slots. Drivers have the route info at the ramp and while driving - they do not lose time in loading, in traffic or address searches. We manage delivery slots matching driver supply with customer demand (orders) to make sure we do not lose business due to lack of drivers. We notify customers because we know if a driver runs according to plan or is late. If a client has an issue, we get notified in real time by the Ufleet customer portal and take action. The transparency it gives us is definitely the most helpful feature of ufleet. We see order statuses and can track delivery plans execution in real time. We know the level of service for each single delivery, on average for the day/month, or for each customer over longer periods. When certain metrics are off we take actions. In general, employees behave more responsively after we introduced Ufleet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about ufleet.io? Some of the data we want to analyze cannot be exported from the menu. For example when we want to compare planned routes vs. actual route execution by drivers, we need to reach out to Ufleet every time even though the data is visible in the interface. They are fast to respond but still it is a nuisance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is ufleet.io solving and how is that benefiting you? We operate 20 specialized vehicles that makedeliveries of professional (chef) products mostly to restaurants but we also do a good deal of home deliveries or dark kitchens. Our main challenge is to match customer's preferred time slots but at the same time deliver ASAP fresh- sensitive items, such as fish for sushi and chilled meat. Ufleet helps us plan hundreds of deliveries per day optimizing for fastest routes, no delays, and sequencing priority deliveries earlier in the routes. With Ufleet we managed to reach 97% on-time deliveries. Sometimes we have disputes with customers where we use timestamps and photos from the proof of delivery files. We use the Ufleet analytics data on monthly open meetings with drivers where we discuss “what went wrong” situations and how to handle them in the future.
