**What do you like best about Truescope?**

Our experience with Truescope has been excellent. The platform is powerful, intuitive, and extremely effective for monitoring media coverage and generating meaningful insights. It has quickly become an important part of how we track and analyze media activity and is arguably one of the most intuitive media intelligence platforms available on the market.

What has made the experience truly special, however, is the team behind it. In particular, working with Sean Cleveland has been fantastic. Sean brings an incredibly positive energy and a genuine commitment to ensuring clients succeed with the platform. His responsiveness and professionalism stand out, but what has impressed us most so far is his depth of knowledge, which has been truly unmatched in our experience. Jean Saucier has also been an amazing resource and an absolute pleasure to work with.

Sean and the entire Truescope team have made our partnership both productive and enjoyable. It’s rare to find a company that pairs such a strong platform with a team that is this engaged and supportive.

**What do you like best about Truescope?**

The breadth and depth of data we get through Truescope is a real step up from what we had before. We switched from a competitor and the difference in coverage was noticeable straight away. We're picking up relevant mentions across news, online and social that we were simply missing with our previous platform.
On top of that, the platform is really easy to use. Our team was up and running quickly without needing a lot of hand-holding, and the dashboards make it simple to pull together reporting for leadership without spending hours on it. It's become a core part of how we track and communicate our media coverage internally.

**What do you dislike about Truescope?**

It took us a little while to fine-tune our search queries to get the results just right, but once we dialled them in (with some help from the Truescope team), the results have been spot on.

We needed a media intelligence that could give us comprehensive coverage without being a nightmare to use. Truescope delivers on both. We can now confidently report on our media presence knowing we're not missing key coverage, and the time we save on building reports means we can spend more energy on the work that actually matters.

Truescope has been very helpful for us because we are a small department and it's the extra set of eyes we need to help us monitor what's going on in the media, both mainstream and social, on a wide number of topics that can change at any given time.

**What do you dislike about Truescope?**

The only downside we really had was at the beginning, when we were first setting up the platform. We hadn't really gotten our heads around the filtering process so we were getting a bit overwhelmed with the number of hits in each Truescope report. But over time and with the help of our contact at Truescope (Tressa), we've been able to get that to something much more manageable.

**What problems is Truescope solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As previously mentioned, we're a small department tasked with a lot to do. Truescope helps us monitor the media for mentions of us and of specific industry topics. It also helps us by alerting us to social media posts we may have missed or on platforms we don't use.

As as a SaaS media intelligence company,  Truescope have managed to get the blend right between intuitive UI / UX, breadth of media, speed of insights supported by a great team - our account management team are always available and responsive should we need them.

**What do you dislike about Truescope?**

Nothing standout as a dislike, though occasionally we get irrelevant content, but this could be partly due to the broad search terms that we are using.

**What problems is Truescope solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were using a competitor media intelligence product and found we didn't have the same confidence in terms of the depth of coverage, speed and the right level of reporting. Since making the move, our confidence levels are much higher in these critical areas.

I really appreciate truescope's customer support. I have a great point of contact named Jody Ziskin, who is excellent at troubleshooting and addressing any specific needs or communication challenges I have. Plus, the initial setup was very easy thanks to the great support and a really good tutorial they provided.

Occasionally, I just have to update keywords for our media results because of the common name of my institution to get the most accurate results

truescope keeps me updated with automated reports and provides good data on our success and comparison with competitors. It is the first email I look at every day.

It’s incredibly easy to use!  I can set up searches instantly and start getting value straight away. The AI-native functionality helps build and refine queries quickly, removing the usual trial-and-error that you get with other platforms. Reporting is just as efficient, with dashboards and daily email updates that can be created in seconds, making it simple to stay on top of insights without manual effort.  If I do get stuck, the support is top notch!

Like most powerful platforms, there’s a bit of a learning curve initially, particularly if you’re coming from more traditional media monitoring tools. That said, the AI assistants (especially for search and summarisation) significantly reduce this over time.

Truescope solves the core challenge of turning massive volumes of media data into actionable insight—fast. Instead of manually sifting through coverage, the platform uses AI and NLP to analyse sentiment, identify trends, and prioritise what matters most.

The ebst part of Truescope is how effortless it is. Targeted, easily-digestible, daily emails give me a 10,000-foot view of how we're being portrayed in media, how often our work is being republished, and more. And when we need to get more sophisticated, the dashboard makes it easy to do that, too.

I recommend Truescope to everyone. Everyone.

I don't know that it's something I dislike, but some of the specific reach numbers don't always seem realistic. In practice, the numbers are apples to apples, which works for our purposes. So this is a nitpicky complaint.

**What problems is Truescope solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our nonprofit newsroom distributed our work at no cost to media. To make it as easy to use as possible, we don't require that media partners tell us whether they use it or not. The reason we can do that? Truescope. They make it effortless to track our uptake and understand how our work is being used.

Truescope has a fairly simple learning curve, which was great for someone like me who had never used a social listening tool before. I love the option to perform simple queries or switch over to advanced queries. That allowed me to progress my skills as I learned more and more. I also like that the interface is user-friendly, appealing, and readable. It makes taking in all the content a lot easier.

I also love that Jodi has been so helpful. I can always reach out if I forget how to do something or if I get stuck in the middle of a task and she has a response for me sometimes within minutes. The customer service is impeccable.

**What do you dislike about Truescope?**

Even though the platform is readable, I think it could be more efficient. For example, separate inboxes for each query could be easier to access. A button on the sidebar that says "+ New Query" would also be very helpful. There was one point when I forgot how to make a new query and I was looking for a Plus sign of some sort, not realizing I had to click on the magnifying glass symbol. 

There are some other areas in which it takes 3-4 clicks to perform a relatively frequently needed task. Reducing the number of clicks for some of those features would take the platform to the next level.

I'm also not a fan of the fact that som uch has to be done on the back end of the platform. In certain situation, like crises, there isn't time to wait until new accounts have been added on the back end. Sometimes certain data is time-sensitive.

As an agency, we like to do client research at every stage of the process: before, during, and after a campaign . Truescope is allowing us to do that and hsare it with the relative members of our agency.

Sometimes, there are so many things you can do with your data that it's hard to figure out the basic things to do with tracking. I don't always feel like I know where things are or what different functions do, so I'm not sure if we're using our subscription to its highest potential.
