**What do you like best about Touchplan?**

Being able to access in the field on a tablet makes this so nice to use! Theres no confusion as to whats going on and it heps you track other trades that have duties before yours.

**What do you dislike about Touchplan?**

My biggest complaint would be using the mouse on a laptop. Little more time and little more challenging to navigate that way. With an external mouse it works pretty well. Lag time can sometimes become annoying.

**What problems is Touchplan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using sticky notes on a billboard or having to write on a wall keeps you away from that information without having taken a photo or writing everything down. Make a lot less phone calls to other trades due to being able to access every trades planned areas of work.

**What do you like best about Touchplan?**

After using unweildy tools like spreadsheets and complicated CPM software to schedule projects, Touchplan was a breath of fresh air.The user freindly interface makes it so that even non-computer savy people can feel comfortable manipulating tags. Creating and editing tags is very easy and takes no time at all.

**What do you dislike about Touchplan?**

Integration between multiple boards so that different activities can be coordinated.  Our site has several different areas that completion of certain items will depend on the start of another item.

**What problems is Touchplan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Touchplan helps us to pull together dozens of activities that are occuring simultaneously.  It makes coordinating work of all of our subcontractors and partmners much easier.

**What do you like best about Touchplan?**

TouchPlan is a highly visual representation of the construction activities scheduled and the reporting allows for detailed analysis of labor resources.  It's nice to even break out the project into smaller sections in addition to by-level breakouts.

**What do you dislike about Touchplan?**

As a fairly new user, I haven't come across anything I don't dislike, or I've forgotten what I don't like.

**What problems is Touchplan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Touchplan allows us to get each trade partner to schedule their upcoming activities and we can see how it impacts other subcontractors working in adjacent areas.

**What do you like best about Touchplan?**

The great visual tool that touchplan offers for planning meetings on our job site. Touchplan allows me to track jobsite progress while keepign everything easy to follow and visual to all contractors so that the scheudle is always clear to all.

**What do you dislike about Touchplan?**

The least helful part of touchplan is that it doesnt offer me a great way to print out the overall plan. I wish that Touchplan would allow me to print our a gant chart that shows off the actual tickets on paper instead of just the bar chart.

Touchplan is helping me to better identify constraints and make those constraints visual to the team so we can find resolution before the work is slated to begin.

The best part of touchplan is the schudleing tool and how user friendly it is. I've literally shown employees how to use this tool in minutes with little to no previous computer experience

**What do you dislike about Touchplan?**

I've not found anything i dislike so far compared to other schudling tools

**What problems is Touchplan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bringing simple to the field for our less computer savvy employees. Also the ability to see where the other trades are just by opening an app

**What do you like best about Touchplan?**

I like that we are able to geive reasoning behind a moved task. It help us have documented reasoning for schedule change. It helps cover myself if things change byond my control through this documentation.

**What do you dislike about Touchplan?**

I dont like how there is a admin that can control everything including the tasks that i put into the schedule. it should be isolated to the auther of the ticket.

it is putting real time to tasks that is hard to visualize on paper. It is a live scheduling platform that allow me to see what my task are affecting and helps widen my vision for my job.

**What do you like best about Touchplan?**

Easy collaboration, several users can update schedule simutaneously. Constraints are valuable to constructing the schedules.

**What do you dislike about Touchplan?**

Lack of knowledge on how to use he program entirely. Training would be helpful for new users.

Allows me to enter my own duration and crew sizes so I can "speak for myself" as well as adding constraints so GC knows what is holding us up from performing.

**What do you like best about Touchplan?**

Touchplan has a flexible collaborative workspace with very few limitations. I like being able to see my tasks as it relates to other tasks in the team, to keep focus and create accountabily.

**What do you dislike about Touchplan?**

The predecessor arrows can be a bit confusing as finish to start arrows points to the middle of the next ticket instead of the front sometimes. Would love to see some better arrows to indicate flow.

Planning design tasks along with other design consultants to ensure everyone gets what they need when they need it. This helps ensure the team meets deadlines for submissions.

The ability to coordinate multiple team members deliverables and schedules for the overall sucess of the project as a whole and then to real-time update those as the project is on-going

I would say that the overall user experience isn't the easiest to deal with. I wish there were more functional items to be added to plans and that it was more intuitive in general

How you always have this history of it. Don't need to digitalize something phyical in the field.

The learning curve that is associated with it and training subcontractors.

It solves the need to get the phyical boards and sticky notes. Then nothing can be lost or changed after a meeting.

**What do you like best about Touchplan?**

It is so easy to use and navigate. Training people on this platform takes minutes as a minimum. It is accessible and efficient.

**What do you dislike about Touchplan?**

Hiding tags is something I am not a fan of. I always want to see my tags. Also, when a plan is locked, not everyone should be able to unlock it.

**What problems is Touchplan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Planning day to day work is more efficient using Touchplan. Drawing out on a white board does not cut it especicially when there are many players who have a hand in the work.

It should require all inputs to be assigned to the original author (there are a lot of issues of tags of unknown origin

Touchplan allows us to track our commitments and holds our trades accountable as well as trcking constraints.

**What do you dislike about Touchplan?**

Touchplan requires a collaborative group that can clearly define their work plans.

Allows us to add many options outside our master schedule. For example, we have a delivery swim lane for organizing site logistics.

ability to create multiple boards, ease of settings, adding people and different user settings

**What do you dislike about Touchplan?**

Downside to touchplan is not being able to tie activities to each other on different boards. Linking and moving items manually.

Touchplan is being used to schedule contruction activites and track PPC.

To add a ticket to a timeline click into the ticket, select the three dotted button in the ticket edit window and click Add to Timeline. You can then link these constraint or milestone tickets in the timeline with tickets from other plans. While reporting is robust, it would be nice to run reports on swimlanes.

**What do you like best about Touchplan?**

It also generates a detailed report. It has an interactive User Interface which is easy to use. It has a cloud storage feature. It's pre-construction and post-construction data analytics.

**What do you dislike about Touchplan?**

Sometimes it is pretty buggy and stuck at the launch screen. Its subscription plan is too costly for small business owners.

**What problems is Touchplan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scheduling issues for construction are being solved quickly. Also, tracking a job is an easy task in touchplan. Also helps us in closing miscommunication gaps and makes the job more efficient.

Easier to use on the jobsite versus the more traditional method.

**What do you dislike about Touchplan?**

It is expensive. Also, it is tedious to scroll through all the swim lanes. I wish there was a way to jump to sections.

**What problems is Touchplan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is making it easier to setup and use on the jobsite. Takes up less space compared to the traditional method of multiple boards and creating sticky notes. Easier to move activities versus board method.

Definitely, the training videos and the technical support are really fast and helpful. Also, the interaction with swim lanes is cool for dividing different internal areas of the project

The activate line when I do a pull plan does move always in the proper way, I also think the format of the reports can be better or at least be able to edit more the way how to export the information in the reports.

The major benefit is time; the time we save in importing tickets is really good for spending that time having coordination conversations. Also, the big room is different in a better way, I would say more effecient

Ease of use, entering data is simple. Ease in adding tasks. Easy to login, a nice step for those in the past were paper based pull planners or slat plan users.

It's is not as robust as Samors V planner regarding critical path analysis. Security needs to review for 2fa and encryption at rest. Subscription cost per mo were a bit pricey. But prices dropped to compete with other platforms.

Get a trial use, and test it and compare with hoylu pull planning

Last Planner where in the trailer you run out if wall space to do scheduling the old, paper based way. Easy to adjust and respond to job change requests and evaluate impacts.

There is a loss of participation because we are not physically putting stickies on the board. It is easier to see the big picture on a physical board.

Functionality. Open sandbox for scheduling allows for endless uses depending on the construction teams needs.

It can be easy to get a plan out of sync because it is so "open sandbox" style. It is something that just comes with the territory and requires diligent oversight, which in itself is a good thing, just time-consuming.

Touchplan is great for getting schedule buy-in from all parties. Last planners are able to keep up with changes and react quickly to stay on track.

I spend a lot of time making sure all parties are taking the time to update their activities, it would help to have a notification option that is sent out. Separately, after planning a sequence to the right of the active line and moving to the left of the active line the sequence generally gets jumbled up.

The different color tags make it easy to zoom out and see the overall plan and where a trade partner will have gaps within the schedule for their manpower to work productively.

The iPad Touchplan GO app seems to be frozen whenever I try to use it. Logging onto the website from my iPad works somewhat.

**Recommendations to others considering Touchplan:**

From the very start, you need to get the trades involved with the Touchplan process and get their buyoff. If trades don't use the program correctly and items aren't appropriately scheduled, the whole process gets affected when handoff dates are not achieved.

Touchplan is excellent at closing up the miscommunications gaps between trade partners that are not used to planning out work in advance.  By having the trade partners sit down and create tags for their scope of work, they are in charge of providing input as to how they see the flow of work developing.

**What do you like best about Touchplan?**

I enjoy how interactive Touchplan is. Having 20+ people logged in at once all able to add/delete tags is a great feature. Touchplan's ability to seamlessly build a construction sequence is fantastic. Reviewing my schedule with my groups is straightforward enough for even beginners to understand is excellent. The "Pin" feature is another impressive component of Touchplan. The way you can track a tag's "past' is beneficial when identifying where it stands and why. I like the successor and predecessor features as well.

**What do you dislike about Touchplan?**

My dislikes are pretty minimal. At times, Touchplan can be sluggish. There are instances where you reduce the number of days or increase the days, and it takes a while to regester and reduces the tag's size. I would like it if you were able to add lines throughout the swimlanes to keep everything organized. Another feature i would maybe try and add would be a start to start or finish to start with a lag period. That way, it doesn't highlight the tag red when you do have that occurring.

**Recommendations to others considering Touchplan:**

Totally worth it. I highly recommend this product to anyone in the construction industry. Touchplan has completely changed how we manage our day-to-day activities.

I use Touchplan to schedule construction activities. Instead of using a whiteboard or another form of scheduling software, I use Touchplan. The benefits of using this live with my construction crews and everyone having access to it. The old ways would be using a wall with sticky notes.

Makes Last Planner principles possible for teams that are forced to work remotely.  The interface is user friendly and easy to learn.  The work product is live and dynamically managed, rather than being put on a wall at the start of a job and then being neglected when things get going.

**What do you dislike about Touchplan?**

Very Complex and large projects may be limited by the number of swim lanes - forcing multiple projects with multiple plans to be developed to Phase and Pull a single site's work.  I wish the size of the swim lane was adjustable by all... but understand that could cause issues in practice.  I would love to see a way to condense and make legible a screen shot type version of the TouchPlan as it appears on the app, vs the look ahead and other reports that list the tasks in a different way.

**Recommendations to others considering Touchplan:**

I use Whiting-Turner's platform and am a subcontractor user for them.  REC Solar and Duke Energy Renewable Corp should be using this extensively and I am advocating for it... but have not been able to get executive sponsorship.

**What problems is Touchplan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Facilitates more collaborative conversations.  Highlights constraints and impacts to it.  Makes the work we do t Phase Plan at the start more meaningful and useful as we continue to Pull Plan as we work the project. Balance crews and schedule and use the manpower features to identify and smooth out peaks and valleys in manpower.

As a scheduler on my team, I really like the ease of access (there's a mobile app for on-site use), the 'ticket' interface, and how easy it is to collaborate with various subcontractors.

To see the full functionality on the collaborative end, subcontractors need to make an account. This is not a big issue, as the software is completely functional sans collaborators.

**What do you like best about Touchplan?**

The way you can control every activity (at each detailed level) is pretty good. It saves us lots of time. You can have lots of useful reports for your crew, to make them understand the weekly work easily, and you can also evaluate the work once it's done. 
Its functionality as a communication channel works pretty good. Every one knows what task they have to do, when they have to do it, and even details such as duration and crew size can be useful.
The user interface is is great, and the touch functionality is so accurate for the daily work. Is so practical and easy for the user to create and in general, manage the tickets. This is one of characteristics i like the most of Touchplan.
I am very satisfied with Touchplan in the overall.

**What do you dislike about Touchplan?**

Maybe the way of connecting dependent activities can be improved, as well as some of the options for generating and printing reports. No more.
This is an excellent app for construction companies.

Once you've tried it, there's no going back. You can save time, prepares good reports to show your crew the coming work, and after that, you can easily evaluate it.

The easy of using Touchplan its a great news to the users. Touchplan features performance is perfect and the project planning ability is what i love most and multiple users coordination capability.
Easy adding the tasks and also adding them on Time line and projects process tracking and the scheduling with this software is more effective.

No any issues to report about Touchplan functionality and for the new users it is a simple step to learn the product usability.

**What do you like best about Touchplan?**

Easy to move tasks. Easy to create tasks.

**What do you dislike about Touchplan?**

The schedule creating function for Gantt layouts doesn't seem very usefull yet.

**Recommendations to others considering Touchplan:**

This is good for collaboration between subcontractors and can do so live. When used with on line meeting platforms, callers can add to the discussion and provide feedback to the group.
When we used the function to create a Gantt type print out, the information didn't come through as well as it could have. The contractor provided minimal training and a short program, and/or availability of such programs would be beneficial to all parties. I have not searched for these programs yet due to how much I use the program, but I have been able to use certain functions with relative ease without additional training.

**What problems is Touchplan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nice to see as web based. See other scopes fairly easy.
