The SEO Framework has quickly become my go-to choice for WordPress SEO thanks to its simplicity and efficiency compared to competitors that are often bloated with unnecessary features and nag windows. For sites where the most basic SEO needs are all that you're concerned, this is the easiest to implement solution. It does the dirty work and stays out of the way until you need to know something; then it shows you the critical information in an easy to understand way without all the extra widgets (like an AI tool or some kind of rating system) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The biggest issues with The SEO Framework are that there are a few features, like redirects, that are included in the free version of competitor's tools and (the biggest drawback) that it isn't the as popular, which means it isn't as well funded. Weak funding, in my experience, often has strange ripple effects with support and upgrading features. One way to solve both of these drawbacks is to purchase the very affordable pro version especially if you really need to add the features and want to manage your SEO without the bloat of the competition.
